What is the exact error message? A crash may be caused by several reasons.
You are asking about iPhoto on your Mac, right?
On your Mac, the photos are all stored in your iPhoto Library, and reinstalling the iPhoto application will not affect your iPhoto library.
What happened directly before the crash? Did you import new photos? Install or update software?

We aren't able to access our emails via Thunderbird on our home computer any more. The crash pane comes up straight away, and we can't even send details about that. It is just on this computer as I have my own email going in to my computer.

After update 9.01 firefox crashed and I can't reinstall it ....

I recently updated firefox to 9.01 and after the update, whenever I start it it tells me that another copy of firefox is running, so I reinstalled it and after the reinstall the strangest thing happened the firefox icon has changed into a setup icon and whenever I click on it it tells me that I need to restart my computer, after the reboot nothing changes it's still stuck on the setup icon and it gives me the same message even when I select uninstall. How can I fix it ??

How can I import all of the information and data on my iphone into itunes? I downloaded one app that is a to-do-list but it indicates that if I sync with my iphone I will lose all data on my iphone and it will be replaced with the data on itunes. It should be like the very first time you synced your phone with I-Tunes. It will notice you haven't synced before and just copy everything from your phone into I-Tunes. It shouldn't delete anything from the phone, at least it never has for me. It just puts a copy of everything into I-Tunes and even if you delete an app for example from your phone and you decide you want it back later, you can just go back into I-Tunes and copy it back over. You should be able to go > App Store > App store (menu) > store > view my account > sign in. Where do you vary after following this point. In between ID summary and Settings should be a section marked iTunes in the cloud and directly below but within that section, the message we are seeking.
I'm not doubting you, just don't see why you have this problem.

It's a built-in app so it won't appear in the store.
If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Safari being set 'off' ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the phone has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

My itunes crashes and I can't open it all. Just installed the latest version 10.5.1. I can't even get it to open to try and figure out what is wrong. Can I uninstall it and reinstall the less recent version which was working? Help!!
I am not a computer guru, the reason that I love my MacBook Pro is that I don't have to worry about it, now I am worrying, because I can't get into my itunes at all. I would trash the new version of itunes and find an older version (I did try reinstalling 10.5.1) as long as I was reassured that I wouldn't lose all my music.

I see the update waiting right now for my MBP, and is why I'm here to see what's up.
On the software update panel, it's all about cloud service.
Looks like 10.5 is the end of the road for me.
I can see having gaming on cloud, but with the work I put into my tunes, no way.
We'll see how people react as time goes, and the next crisis.

They don't even seem to have my correc date of birth so I can't progress the reinstallation. I'm currently abroad and have my iMac with me but with no way of contacting Apple that I can find, I'm at a loss and very reluctant to pay £35 to try and get my ID and pasword sorted out given that their system recognises my current details. can anyone help please?

when they gifted me the mountain Lion software several years ago.
Mountain Lion was introduced in July 2012. Did the people who gifted you possibly use their Apple ID for the purchase of your OS? If you used your own Apple ID, you should have simply used the one you use for all things app store. The problem with any purchase at the app store is: whatever Apple ID was used to purchase, it willl stay tied to that Apple ID forever. And, purchases from the app store are not transferable.
So, you can check with the person(s) who gifted you or spend $20 to buy it - or, if your hardware is compatible with the new OS Mavericks, you could download it and associate it with your Apple ID.
FWIW, according to the licensing agreement, the OS remains the property of Apple and you are only granted a license to run it.

TS1702 iTunes freezes on my iPhone 3GS - and I can't reinstall it!

ITunes launches ok but freezes whenever I try to view any albums, podcasts or other content.
And I can't reinstall it as that doesn't seem to be an option.

Have you tried closing the iTunes app completely and seeing if it works ok when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with iTunes 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the iTunes app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.
