HT201272 Audiobook was lost in sync...how do I get it back on my iPad?

I just purchased an audio book yesterday and it's not showing up in my "history" as purchased. I synced the iPad with my new laptop tonight and now the audio book is no longer on my iPad but it is in my iTunes account on my laptop. How do I get it back on my iPad? It's showing up that I searched for it but not that I purchased it. However, I did and was listening to it yesterday on my iPad.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. If the audiobook is no longer on the iPad but still on your laptop, the next step would be to sync your iPad again. The following article will walk you though syncing the audiobook back.

Well, iCloud has nothing to do with this.
Do you have the built-in backup function Time Machine running on your Mac?

Everything should be on your computer.
You should be syncing contacts and calendars with your comptuer regularly.
You should be transferring all itunes purchases to your computer regularly.
You should be importing all pics taken with iphone to your computer regularly.
Most especially before any update.
Have you failed to do this?

if you installed the find my iphone app before it was lost
you can use icloud.com to track it
if not there is nothing you can do

Contact your carrier and the police. If it was lost in a specific building, ask the people running it.

Configure the sync correctly:

If it is online and you set up Find my iPod before you lost it go to the cloud and activate Find my iPod. You can also disable your iPod so a thief will not be able to use / access your stuff. If offline, you'll have to go looking for it like it was a lost wallet or purse. Report it lost / stolen to the police, and disconnect from this iPod, change all accounts and passwords to prevent a thief from accessing your stuff. I updated to the new verison of I Tunes and have lost by library. How do I get it back?

Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. Note that in iTunes 11 an "empty" library may show your past purchases with links to stream or download them.
In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library as iTunes Library (Corrupt) and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
Alternatively, depending on exactly when and why the library went missing, there may be a more recent .tmp file in the main iTunes folder that can be renamed as iTunes Library.itl to restore the library to a recent state.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

I lost my brushed metal theme to my safari. I was wondering how do I get it back. I used some program called safari accelerator I don't remember the name. It disabled my brush metal. I don't really like this new look. I thought I would go back to the old look. Unless there are other themes I can use for Safari?

It sounds like you mean Safari Enhancer. Download that again to re-toggle your preference. Other than the styles offered via Safari Enhancer, there's not much you can do to Safari (it's not designed to be easily skinnable unlike say Firefox).
