HT201272 Can anyone help with HD film syncing with iPod classic?

I have downloaded an HD film to my iPad 3 which i have managed to transfer to my macbook. How can i get it on my iPod classic without having to purchase the SD version?

You cannot put an hd movie on an ipod classic at all.
When you purchase an HD video on a supported device or computer, only HD video will be downloaded. To download the SD version, you need to download the video again from your Purchased page. Conversely, if you purchase an HD video on an unsupported device, the SD version will be downloaded. Then, you will need to download the HD version from your Purchased page. Learn more about downloading previous purchases."

  • Can anyone help me solving this problem with Mail?

    I haven´t being able to send emails with MAIL for two days. I have managed 7 email accounts with 3 different servers for more than 2 years with no problem until last Monday.
    Basically, what I can notice as unusual is this message from Connection Inspector:
    220-We do not authorize the use of this system to transport unsolicited,
    220 and/or bulk e-mail.
    But I have copy/pasted what Connection Inspector says:

    Can anyone help me solving this question with explaination .
    Given:
    11. public String makinStrings() {
    12. String s = ?Fred?;
    13. s = s + ?47?;
    14. s = s.substring(2, 5);
    15. s = s.toUpperCase();
    16. return s.toString();
    17. }
    How many String objects will be created when this method is invoked?
    A. 1
    B. 2
    C. 3
    D. 4
    E. 5
    F. 61 is created at line 13 as a result of StringBuilder.toString().
    1 is created at line 14 as a result of substring().
    1 is created at line 15 as a result of toUpperCase().
    The Strings "Fred" and "47" at lines 12 and 13 are NOT created when that method is invoked. They are created when the class is loaded.
    Note, however, that some of this is based on current implementations, NOT on requirements of the JLS or VM spec, so really, the answers could be different. Overall, it's a poorly thought out question.

  • HT1473 Can I download my own films to my ipod classic and if so, how?

    Can I download my own films to my ipod classic, and if so, how do I do this?

    If you own the distribution roghts to them (home movies for example), then yes. Convert them to a compatible format ( found in the manual) and put them in itunes.  They sync them to the device.
    DVDs that you buy are encrypted to stop you from doing this.  Breaking this encryption is illegal.

  • [Q] can anyone help me find the "sync all cores" function?

    Hi all,
    i'm new in the world of overclocking and trying to find my way through the bios of my z87 mpower max motherboard... but i've spend some time now trying to find the "sync all cores" toggle?
    can anyone help me out?
    greetings!
    EDIT: my bios version is 1.3

    Look in the UEFI/BIOS 'OC" Section, sub section 'CPU Features'. The Core Ratios to be set individually to the desired multi. Example, cores 1 - 4 set at 40X. Then make sure Turbo Boost is 'Enabled', and to ensure stabilization across the cores, enable 'Enhanced Turbo' setting as well.

  • Can anyone help? When I sync ipad and it asks me if I wish to continue to restore an error occurred while restoring ipad (-50)

    Help!!
    When I sync my ipad with itunes it asks me if I wish to continue restore, when I click continue it comes up with an error message:
    "An error occurred while restoring ipad (-50)
    Can anyone assist?
    Thank you in advance.

    are you trying to restore defaults through itunes?
    try rebooting the device and try it again.  this usually works.  memory is required for it to restore.

  • Can't get newer playlists to sync into ipod classic

    New playlists aren't showing up on my iPod. All of the new music I've purchased is in the Music list, so that's syncing ok. Old playlists are ok, just not the new ones I've created lately (it's been a while since I synced my iPod) Help please!

    If you're using the option to *Sync selected playlists only* have you remembered to select your recently created playlists?

  • My computer is not recognizing my IPod...how can I help this?  I have an IPod Classic from 2006, I think.

    I have connected my IPod via the USB port, and even my computer is not recognizing the IPod.  How can I help this?  I have just downloaded an audiobook and now I'd like to downloading it to my IPod.

    Uninstall iTunes and all of its components by following this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925, then reinstall iTunes.  This will not trouch your iTunes library or data.

  • Can anyone help? Itunes installation problem with my ipod shuffle.

    Hello
    I've just bought an ipod shuffle and to get it up and running I need to install itunes 10 (I have a mac with itunes 9) . My computer won't allow me to do this, everytime I click on the itunes icon it says 'Couldn't open "Install iTunes.pkg". This package type requires Mac OS X 10.5.
    Thanks

    iTunes version 10 is not compatible with Mac OS X Tiger (10.4.x).  You'll need to upgrade your system to Mac OS X Leopard (10.5) before you can install this version of iTunes, which is required for you to be able to sync and use your Shuffle.
    You can still purchase Leopard from different stores online.

    Hi lots going wrong with my music library, artwork is muddled up and also losing tracks because of this, also unable to download latest version of itunes and finally i cannot burn my music to disc. i have an external hard drive and a fairly large library, around 30,000 on it. Any suggestions!!

    Log in to the Developer forum. You will find instructions on how to install the lastest beta. Your problem is the beta you have installed has expired. All of them did on October 5; you will find hundreds of threads discussing this. If you have a beta it is assumed that you will continue as a beta tester, so a simple update using iTunes will not work.
    If you no longer want to be a beta tester install the GM 7.0.2 by restoring from iTunes using DFU mode.

    create or replace TYPE CHAR_ARRAY IS TABLE OF VARCHAR(32767);
    2)Creating the following stored procedure
    create or replace PROCEDURE MQ_MSG_PROCESSOR
       MessageText in VARCHAR2,
       QueueName out VARCHAR2,
       RplyMessage out CHAR_ARRAY,
       HastoCommit out NUMBER
    AS
       RMessage CHAR_ARRAY;
    BEGIN
       QueueName:='DEV_OUT';
       RMessage:=CHAR_ARRAY();
       RMessage.Extend(4);
       RMessage(1):='spring';
       RMessage(2):='summer';
       RMessage(3):='outumn';
       RMessage(4):='winter';
       HastoCommit:=1;
       RplyMessage:=RMessage;
    END;
    3)Copiling and running the following java class
    import java.sql.*;
    import oracle.sql.*;
    import oracle.jdbc.oracore.Util;
    import oracle.jdbc.driver.*;
    import java.util.Dictionary;
    public class ArrayExample

          MSG Msg=null;
          oracle.sql.ARRAY RMsg=null;
          DriverManager.registerDriver(new oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver());
          Connection conn = DriverManager.getConnection ("jdbc:oracle:oci8:@test","test", "test");
          conn.setAutoCommit (false);
          try
             String []array={};
             ArrayDescriptor desc=ArrayDescriptor.createDescriptor("CHAR_ARRAY",conn);
             ARRAY CHAR_ARRAY=new ARRAY(desc,conn,array);
             OracleCallableStatement sproc = (OracleCallableStatement)conn.prepareCall("{call GSM.MQ_TST.MQ_MSG_PROCESSOR(?, ?, ?, ?)}");
             sproc.setString(1, "hello"); //MessageText
             sproc.registerOutParameter(2, OracleTypes.VARCHAR);   //QueueName
             sproc.registerOutParameter(3, OracleTypes.ARRAY,"CHAR_ARRAY");   //RplyMessage
             sproc.registerOutParameter(4, OracleTypes.NUMBER);      //HastoCommit
             sproc.execute();
             CHAR_ARRAY=(oracle.sql.ARRAY)sproc.getARRAY(3);
             array = (String [])CHAR_ARRAY.getArray();
             for(int i=0;i<array.length;i++)
                System.out.println(array);
          catch(SQLException e)
             System.out.println("Error while trying to execute MQ_MSG_PROCESSOR");
             System.out.println(e);
          conn.close();

    Hi,
    I tried the code with same procedure.
    That works out fine for me..
    and it prints out exactly the same words as you mentioned..:))
    may be you must have changed something later on.. which started printing character codes..
    but for me it works perfectly fine..
    All The Best..
    Regards
    Gurudatt
    The problem is the following:
    I would tike to get a PL/SQL Table (a table of
    varchar2) into a Java String Array.
    It works very well except that instead of getting the
    characters in the PL/SQL Table
    I receive the character codes in each string.
    In the following example i should get:
    spring
    summer
    outumn
    winter
    Instead I get:
    0x737072696E67
    0x73756D6D6572
    0x6F7574756D6E
    0x77696E746572
