Hi, I'm having problems dowloading certain previous music purchases. I can see the name of these songs in my library and even have a download cloud beside it, but cant access them. I bought a lot of music in the UK before moving to Australia, would that make a difference?

I've got all my music still on a PC at my parents home in the UK, next trip home i will put it onto a portable hard drive. I only took my music out on my Ipod at the time, but of course you cant retrieve music from there. Thanks for your help. You need to change back to UK account. All purchases are forever tied to the Apple ID that was used.
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > sign out and sign in your UK Apple ID

how do i download my old purchases? I have bought several movies and a bunch of law and orders that i never even downloaded once because i ran out of local space. how do i download what i have already purchased?

You cannot redownload movies.
If you have never downloaded the tv shows, then click Store>Check for Available downloads.
You may be able to find them under Purchased, under Quick Links, in the itunes store as well.

Can I download my old purchases from a different country store.

I'm moving from the US to the UK. I want to know once I change stores and update my billing information would I be able to download my old purchases from the US store? I do have ITunes match if that helps.

No you won't, as well as being tied to the account, content is also tied to the country that it was downloaded in. So before you move here to the UK redownload any item that you might want and take a backup copy of them.
As far as I know you also won't be able to change countries whilst you have iTunes Match active

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

HT201272 I downloaded a previously purchased app. I have the receipt for the in app purchase, yet the game wants to charge me again to unlock. What do I do?

I have downloaded a past purchase from the app store through iTunes. It was a trial game that you unlock with an in app purchase. I paid the price and unlocked it months ago and still have the receipt.
When I try to restore the purchase, the in-app unlock is no longer working and the App Store wants to charge me another $4.99.
What do I do?

You CANNOT download music again.
You buy one and only one download. It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy to put the music back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup (not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod. File>Transfer Purchases

I cant download a previous purchase of Mountain Lion...

I had OSX Lion, upgraded to OSX Mountain Lion then OSX Mavericks, i had WIFI problems and still do, so i went back to OSX Lion as the problem started when i upgraded, it didnt help so now i have OSX Lion, trying to upgrade back to OSX Mountain LIon, but i cant find a way of re-downloading my purchase of OSX Mountain Lion...
Im not sure if i purchase again, it will say already purchased like it does on the iPhones etc.
Also i cant open the App Store app as im using OSX Lion 10.6.8

Why can't I download my old purchases?

I had recently had my blackberry 9900 stolen so i switched back to my 9780 and when i logged back into my blackberry app world account it had olny shown the previously downloaded apps from this bold and not the one that was stolen even though they were under the same account. how can i get these purchases back?

If you are indeed 100% certain that the exact same BB ID/AppWorld credentials are being used, then I suggest that you clear the AppWorld application cache:
1. Open App World
2. Go to My World
3. Follow one (and only one!) of these steps:
3a. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and then press, in sequence R, then S, then T
3b. For Touch Screen Only BBs -- Hold the num-lock (!?123) button so it locks and then press, in sequence 3, then 4, then (
3c. For newer (e,g., OS6 and 7) BB's, see this KB:

4. AppWorld should close.
5. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot
6. Return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it may be sluggish while it re-synchronizes).
If step (4) does not happen as listed, then the clear cache did not work.
Now see if your Uninstalled list is properly populated.

Have. New iPad cannot find my purchases of my movies

I'm in the US, in iTunes I go to the "purchased" section select "movies" . From the list "not on ipad" select the movie I've purchased, click on the the iCloud download symbol ... The movie appears to start downloading ... Near the end of the process the ipad freezes and initiates an auto restart ... The ipad is un-useable for the next TWENTY MINUTES while the darn thing restarts and restarts again and again.... Finally the home screen appears, I initiate the download again, from the Downloads section of the iTunes Store. I've also tried deleting the movie from the down load section and re- initiating fresh... Same darn thing- starts to download, freezes restarts- one hour wasted. Please help- extremely frustrating. Thank you!
