HT201272 Download a book again to fix an error in the book
I tried to re-download a book I purchased on my iPad but the button says 'downloaded' and wont allow me to download again. I clicked the 'report a problem' link on my receipt but I keep getting the message cannot log into iTunes store. Help
Contact the iTunes Store customer support department through the form on their web page and explain the problem to them.
Or contact the record label so that they can work through their account with the iTunes Store.

I researched the advice on the link provided by b noir as well as very similar advice from apple support: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376. It worked for me (for now).
Some things of note:
I did all of the things requested by the link I provided
My computer WOULD NOT uninstall Apple Mobile Device Support. I had to manually remove the folder (also as instructed by the url)
I also uninstalled MobileMe. Was a little different than removing the other apps. Follow instructs provided here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2992
I did not uninstall iCloud
I have to admit it was a bit scary removing all those things. Is important to note that when re-installing Apple, follow steps to do so as Administrator (the right-click thingy and whatnot).

This is generally a Lion error.. and you will need 5.6 utility to get access to the disk area.
So download the real utility. Run it instead of v6 toy version.

Go to the manual setup, disk page and click on disconnect all users.. that will unmount all users connected to the disk and allow it to start working. But there are a number of other issues that are possible cause. Pondini lists some of them. -
I have recently started downloading video files. I

I had to completely re-install my OS and lost all my data. A significant amount of my music and TV was purchased through iTunes. Is there a way to re-download this content without re-purchasing it???
It depends upon what country that you are in, and whether it's still in the store. What you can re-download will show under Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your Mac's iTunes. If you aren't in a country where music and/or films can be re-downloaded and you don't have a backup of your library then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

I have tried numerous solutions being posted in this support forum. I went in and deleted my places.sqlite file so that it created a whole new profile. I then tried to restore my bookmarks, and nothing happened.
I went in and discovered I had a places.sqlite.corrupt file. As suggested by one of the links provided in other articles, I deleted the other places.sqlite files, and then renamed the corrupt one as just places.sqlite. I restarted firefox and still nothing.
Please don't just copy and paste the links to the two articles that have no yet helped me. I need to find out how to fix this because I had a lot of important information in my bookmarks!Hi,

Two thoughts:
(1) Could you try changing a setting for your Garmin plugin. Here's what I mean:
Open the Add-ons page using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins.
Find your Garmin plugin change "Ask to Activate" to "Always Activate".
Your system information seems to list two different versions of a similarly named plugin. I'm not sure whether that is causing a problem.
(2) Does Garmin's documentation specify any extra steps to set up Firefox, other than installing its add-ons? -
How can I fix display errors of the flash player concerning accents of the font Klavika?
I've got an display error concerning accents of the font Klavika (see images attached). Instead of "é" "È" is displayed in the flash player. Helvetica works fine.
Maybe the font has a problem, what you would do is find the character that corresponds to that maybe é É are invested and be wrong and replace the character with the correct

I am trying to install windows 7 ultimate 64 bit via bootcamp assistant. I open bootcamp assistant from utilities and i get the second window and try to click continue and i get a pop up, saying "The startup disk must be formatted as a single Mac OS Extneded (journaled) volume or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant for installing Windows." I looked around on the internet, i found that my internal HD must be set to OS Extended (Journaled). I went into disk utility and i clicked partition tab and the option was set to OS extended (journaled). Any ideas on how to overcome this error so i can install windows 7?Error is:
1: common
2: misleading and poorly worded
3: space must be:
A: contiguous, that means unfragmented and in ONE section, not multiple
B: files cannot be loced, anchored or in such a manner as to prevent or block partition operation
C: to move, unlock and shuffle files requires booting from another drive or device
Shrink the HFS+ volume by as much or more than you need to set aside to use
If that does not,
Try iDefrag from another hard drive or by burning and using its own CD that is just for consolidating free space
Clone your system (should have backups already, clone is just bootable)
Erase and restore from clone - SuperDuper does consolidate files and free space and result in unfragmented (99% success rate)
None of which has to do iwth what that error message says. This error has been almost a daily threat topic - has gotten less but has not "gone away." -

When you add a gift card balance to the Apple ID, it's available for the Apple ID.
Probably best to create unique Apple ID's for each... this will also make things easier in the future as purchases are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with. -
I tried to update my ipad air from IOS 7.0.4 to 7.1 on iTunes. I clicked download and update, it started to download normally but when download finished iTunes shows error that "The software for the iphone was corrupted during download".
How can I fix this error ?I had the same problem. In the end I downloaded it manually. Here's the steps assuming you are on a Mac and have an iPad Air (Wifi). If not you can find other restore links here.
In the terminal (it kept failing to download in Safari):

Once the file has downloaded, move it to ~/Library/iTunes/iPad Software Updates/
Quit and relaunch iTunes.

Are you using Creative cloud app to download Photoshop CC? if no, download CC app via https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloudand try to download.

Install the latest version of iTunes and reboot your computer. This is good practice outside of your current problem.
Now, as for your pronlem, Reset your iPad [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release], and try again. -
