There is nothing wrong with the OS update.
Delete ALL your email accounts.
Restart Playbook
Put the accounts back and ensure they are all set with PUSH ON. Manual (push off) will burn battery.
Similarly delete your wifi connections and add back when required.
Turn off wifi is not connected to wifi.
Any "hunting for connection" in email or wifi will burn up battery.

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

When I make a purchase in the app store via paypal it redirects me to the paypal website to add a credit card. However, my paypal is linked to my account directly and I have no card. What can I do?

Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.

Why is it that after upgrading to IOS 6, I could not retreive my full list of my purchased applications & ganes list in the app store now !!!!
Whenever I try to tab my purchased in the update feature of app store; not only does the long list of my previous purchases do not showed up like in IOS 5 do but after a while it just prompt out to the main home page. I tried this for both my 3GS and 4GS too and both have the same problem. Aperture was originally installed from the app store, now its asking for a serial number. how do i download the serial number or reinstall from the app store?
The App Store version of Aperture will never ask for a serial number so something got confused on your system. Did you ever have a non App Store version of Aperture installed? Did you download the trial version for some reason?
You can try moving Aperture from the Application folder to the desktop and then going to the App Store. Log in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase Aperture and you should be able to download it again.

My iPad 2 doesn't have the app store I have looked in everything, reset the home screen and the restrictions is off but I still can't find it.
If you got the iPad from your school, and the Installing Apps restriction is 'off' but greyed out (as you 've said here https://discussions.apple.com/message/16137325#16137325) so that the App Store app is hidden, then it's likely that your school has set the restriction - you will need to ask them to remove the restriction for you.

The iOS 7.0 do not hide the purchases in the app store. I always hide them from the macbook, but with iOS7 I can't do this

After hiding them on your Mac's iTunes try logging out of your account on your phone and then log back into it. -
A friend of mine downloaded an app from the internet onto my iPod Touch 4 so I could play pokemon on my iPod, I deleted the app but now iTunes and the App Store won't open, they say that the certificate for this server is invalid. What should I do?

If you change your Apple ID you will need to sign in with the new information or password the next time you use an Apple service or feature that uses Apple ID. If you have multiple devices that use features and services that require an Apple ID, you will need to sign in again on each device.

HT204088 For some reason I am in the US store, how do I change back to the Australian App Store?
FOr some reason I am in the US App Store, how do I change back to the Australian App Store on my iPad as I can't make purchases? It keeps telling me my account is not with the US store and to change to the Australian store.
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > tap your Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region
If you find that it is set to the correct region, log out of your iTunes Store account, restart your iPad, and sign into your account again.

MacBook Air 13" running 10.7.5 When I click to download Mavericks in the App Store, nothing happens. What could be the solution?
There may be no progress bar apparent for Mavericks in the App Store. It may be a bug associated with this particular download.
To determine if it is actually downloading use Launchpad. You should see a fairly obvious new icon with an associated progress bar. Make sure you check every Launchpad page by swiping left / right.
If it's paused, click the icon to restart it.
Once it completes the icon will appear in Applications and Launchpad, it's just easier to find in Launchpad.
When it's finished downloading it looks like this:

Open the Mac App Store.
From the Store menu, choose Sign In.
Enter your Apple ID and password.
Click Purchases to get to your Purchases Page.

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:

Is Java on my iMac automatically upgraded via the App Store if not how do I download the latest version. I'm currently having a few issues when visiting a website for instance some other site opens at the same time.

Ken VooghtI'm not too keen on automatic updates. They can slow down your tasks, and a simple banner ad from a phishing site can make it look like an update is coming, when there is none there, and have you download a trojan horse. It is best to get it from the source directly.

This changes the actual store. There are dozens of stores. Each store is posted in ONLY ONE LANGUAGE. Changing the country (actually, it changes the store) doesn't change the language. The language is hard-fixed for the particular country's store. You cannot change the language of the store. You can only change the store. The German Store is always in German. You can change to the U.S. store, but you can NEVER download / purchase anything from a different store than the one where you first got your Apple ID.
You could create a new Apple ID in the U.S. store, but that is only allowed WHILE YOU ARE LOCATED IN THE U.S. This is the most annoying limitation of the Apple ID and flies in the face of Apple's attempt to present a globe-trotter image for their customers. -
