Help! i purchased a cd and some of the songs are incomplete, can i redownload & how???

If you are in a country where re-downloading is possible (iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match Availability by Country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085), delete the track and download again (Downloading [using iOS or computer] past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519).  See tips on downloading in https://discussions.apple.com/message/19097773
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.
If you cannot download a second time, contact iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history or,
iTunes Customer Service Contact - http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html > Get iTunes support via Express Lane > iTunes > iTunes Store

I purchased an album and some of the songs did not download completely. How can I fix this?

I have the EXACT issue as Hatchs88 and the response doesn't help. I found a 3 of 4 missing songs as "song".tmp file in the music directory but I can't do anything here... The iTunes store just says purchased and it doesn't the songs show up in the purchased list either. What's funny is that I was able to download on an iPod touch but I cant get it on my PC...

  • I recently purchased 3 CD's, some of the songs are cut off in the middle of the song.  Itunes sent me a link several times to redownload the songs, but each time either the same songs or different songs would be cut short each time I redownloaded the CD's

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

  • HT203200 I purchased an album on itunes and some of the songs are not complete

I have purchased many songs on itunes and never had problems. Recently I purchased an album and even though the downloads are complete and nothing unusual or any problems happened while it was downloading, the songs are not complete. The album plays on my itunes, but each song gets cut off after a minute or two. Is there a way I can redownload the album without having to purchase it again?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app (or video app on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

  • HT201272 I downloaded an album, but some of the songs are only half there. How do I fix this?

Today I bought an album on itunes. But when I listened to it a handful of the songs weren't all there. it would play to a certain point then skip to the next song.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to close and restart iTunes.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

  • TS1424 downloaded an album and some of the songs are skipped.  They are in the list but, it skips over the song

I downloaded "O Brother Where Art Thou" and four of the 19 songs will not play.  The are skipped in the purchased play list and in music list.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

  • HT1725 I purchased an album and most of the songs are partially downloaded, how do I get the rest of the song(s) downloaded?

I believe the only song that was completely downloaded was the first song.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the problem tracks from your iTunes library, close and then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

  • HT1491 Hi, I bought some music and some of the songs of some albums disappeared.

I got some music some time ago and now some of the songs have disappeared and I don't know how to get them back.
Also some of the somgs are with tick some are not but I am not how to get back when they were all ticked.
I have tried to unistall Itunes and then install it again and the situation was still the same.
I really don't know what is going on. Can somebosy help?

Whether you can redownload music depends upon what country that you are in (it's not possible in all countries), whether you've changed countries since buying it, and whether it's still in your country's store (record companies occasionally remove songs/albums). What you can redownload will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes :
I'm not sure what you mean by 'some of the songs are with tick' (?). Do you mean that they have an exclamation mark against them in your library and you can't play them ? If you do then that indicates that though they are still listed in your iTunes library you don't have the actual music files still on your computer. If you can redownload music, and those tracks are still in your store, then you will need to delete those tracks from the Music part of your library for them to get the cloud symbol against them in Purchased so that you can redownload them.

  • I bought an album and some of the songs did not download for the full length, but others did. why? and how do i fix it?

i bought an album from the itunes store and some of the songs did not download the whole length... why? and how do i fix this?

Delete the incomplete tracks from your library, sending them to recycle bin, then download them again from your purchased history. If the problem persists use the "report a problem" links from your account history to contact the iTunes store support staff.
Are the incomplete tracks ones that you had previewed before purchasing the album? If so there may be a bug that needs reporting. See this recent post which explains why I ask the question...
