How do I load songs from my Mac to iphone 5?

Connect the phone to your Mac and select it on the left-hand sidebar of your Mac's iTunes (on iTunes 11 you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac), and then use the Music tab on the right-hand side of the screen to select and sync the music that you want on the iPhone's Music app.

Make sure Settings > iCloud > Photos > iCloud Photo Library (Beta) = "Off"
Then sync your iPhone using iTunes and make sure your sync settings for photos are set correctly in iTunes.

My question is How to sync Notes from Mac to iPhone?
I have lots of Notes written in the Notes application on my iMac.
All these Notes also appear in my iCloud Notes page via Safari. So far, so good.
BUT if I want to sync Notes to my iPhone (iOS 7) my iPhone settings tells me iPhone Notes is default and that if I turn on Notes on iPhone all my iCloud Notes will be deleted.
HOWEVER, I cannot see a way on my iPhone to set the default Notes to iCloud.
I am unsure if this is a OSX question or an iOS question .. but it is a NOTES question.
If you can help, it would be appreciated. Else I will ignore Notes on iPhone (as it seems from other Forums I cannot delete it).
C'mon Apple .. you are losing the ease-of-use mojo.

Hi I loaded songs from my desktop computer onto my iPhone. Now I am traveling and I want to put songs from my laptop onto my iPhone. When I try to do it, iTunes says that it has to delete everything on my iPhone in order to put songs from my laptop on there. I don't want to delete any music on the iPhone, just add more music. Photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone are "optimized" for viewing on your iPhone via the iTunes sync or transfer process, and I assume the same applies for photos transferred from a Windows computer to an iPhone via Explorer. If you are able to transfer such photos from your iPhone to another computer, the original resolution of the photos will be lost.
Why can't I do this with music too? (Not even copy protected music, just mp3s).
Because the iPhone does not support disk mode - not for music and video anyway.

How did the music get on your touch? There are only two ways to get music on a touch or iPhone, buy directly on the device or sync it there through iTunes. Is your music not in your iTunes library? It should be. Then, all you have to do is sync it to your phone.

Just place the USB stick into one of your ports. You should see an item appear on the desktop representing the USB stick. Just drag the zip file from your desktop to the USB item. If you don't see an icon appear on the desktop after plugging it in, then check your Finder window for it.

I have copies of Eos Magazine on my macbook air and since upgrading to Mavericks and IOs7.03 is see no way that I can get them on to my Iphone. I have seen sugestions about emailing them to myself and opening them from ibooks that way. The problem here is most of the pdfs are to big to email.
This was done under Itunes sync before and now there is no tab for Ibooks when syncing. Am I missing something?
Any help would be appreciated.

iWork documents (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) can be saved to iCloud and opened by the corresponding apps on the iPhone.
PDFs can be transferred via iTunes or Dropbox and read using an application such as Goodreader.
