HT201272 I am missing about or Over an hour of the Audio book, "Orphan Train"
I did report a problem with the downloading.
But, I thought it downloaded when I resumed downloading.
I was listen to this book, got to the chapter 43 & then it
jumped back to chapter 1 or 2, it never finished.
How can I re-download this book ??

You will need to 'report a problem' and contact iTunes Support - audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store, so they will need to grant you a re-download, or if it's a problem with the actual file credit/refund you.
To report a proble form your purchase history, log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

Basic question is why are any of the minimun 8 Verizon reps that I or my Authorized Verizon Rep (at Costco) spoke with unable to resolve a very simple, straightforward issue that should have been resolved in 15 minutes max. Instead I (a 14 year verizon customer) have been given the runaround and have invested over 6 1/2 hours in trying to get someone to acknowledge that I an owed 1 GB of Bonus Data on my new phone on our new plan. My wife got hers. I am just venting now as I intend on returning the phone tomorrow (I got it Thursday) and turning around and getting an identical new phone. This was suggested to me as an option by both the Rep who sold my wife her phone and the rep who sold me mine as that way I would not have to contiinue dealing with this ridiculous state of affairs (they indicated that my Free gig request was being sent to another department and that it would be about 7 days befor they get an answer). No I was considerate, etc. The root of the problem stems from the fact that when I went to get my new phone I asked the salesperson if I should sign up for the new plan or if my wife should do it the following day when she buys her new phone (also at a Costco but in a different state). The salesperson said it made absolutely no difference so I elected to have my wife do it. When she did the next day she got her free Gig and her salesperson told her that I need to call in to make sure I get the gig that I am entitled to as well. That's when the runaround started with the first call consisting of me basically advising Verizon of what the promotion consists of, etc.since they insisted that it was one gig per Plan, that there were no exceptions to this, etc. As mentioned they wanted to know where I got the information that it was one gig per qualifying phone. (Both the rep and her supervisor obviously were not aware of how Verizons heavily touted More Everything plan works). They told me finally that I needed to go back to the Costco where I got the phone. I did. The salesperson apologized numerous times to me for advising me that it made no difference who signs up for the plan or when. She then spent over two hours on the phone (with me next to her) attempting to explain to Verizon what happened, how it was her fault, and how I was clearly entitled to the Bonus Gig since I also had a qualifying phone. Finally she was transferred to someone who authorized the Bonus Gig (since I was clearly entitled to it) and who indicated that it might take 24 hours to show up on my new Plan. 72 hours later, no change, and the runaround continues some more. The only reason I even came to this forum was to let off some steam since no one could give me an answer.. It's clear that I am entitled to the Bonus Gig yet the last supervisor I spoke with told me that he could only pass the request on to another department via e-mail (no direct contact, etc. even though I gave him the name and employee # of the Verizon rep who indicated the Bonus was approved) and that an answer should be forthcoming in about 7 days. I was very cordial with everyone I spoke with as I understand that they take their direction from the top. The countless hours I have spent dealing with this situation is something that no-one should have to go through, particularily someone who has been a Verizon Plan customer since about year 2000. Everyone seems to agree that I am entitled to the free gig but no one seems to be in a position to help this customer. Its a horrible way to treat someone. I talked with the original saleslady today and told her I would be in tomorrow to turn in the phone and get a new one along with the gig I was entitled to. She said that would be fine and wouldn't be a problem but that she would be happy to try calling Verizon once again to try to resolve the issue. I indicated that I'm done with wasting time taliking with well-meaning and courteous (and I assume underpaid) employees who I assume are pretty much directed from above that any concessions they make, even if the customer is entitled to them, will reflect badly on their employee evaluations . Good thing I am retired or I would really be worked up. They only way I would consider even talking to Verizon anymore on this is if they were to waive the $60 in upgrade fees my wife and I paid for the new phones. I have adobe editions 4.0 and I've been trying to get library books on my kobo for over 2 hours! The book goes onto my Kobo fine, but when I try to open in on my kobo it says, "Oops! The document couldn't be opened. It's protected by ADRM and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID." It does it with every single book. I've never had this problem before. I've tried everything! Please help.
same problem for me. I am using abe edition 3 as I don't think 4 can be used with kobo. Book has been downloaded to kobo but it can't be read as it is not authorised.Help please

Using my ipod nano -when listening to an audio book it freezes after about 10 minutes. I have done a soft reset, I have deleted the audio book and re- installed. My music plays with no problem.
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
I have a Macbook 2.1 that runs 10.5.8. I cannot get it to start on battery power. It will run for over an hour on the battery, if you start it with the charger, but even then it shows a 0% charge! I've tried pulling the battery out while it's booted, pulling battery out and discharging the system by holding the power switch, nothing seems to make it work. any ideas? It has all the updates Apple offers, too.
Try resetting the SMC
Shut down the computer.
Disconnect the MagSafe power adapter from the computer, if it's connected.
Remove the battery.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Reconnect the battery and MagSafe power adapter.
Press the power button to turn on the computer. -
i have been waiting for over an hour for the iOS8 update (from 6) to complete. something wrong? disconnect or continue waiting

That all depends on your internet service. 6 Mbps or better is recommended for HD rental content. 2.5 Mbps for SD. You can check your actual internet speed at speedtest.net.
If you'd rather download SD content to avoid waits, you can change the type of content available by default in settings. -
I don't know aht I'm doing wrong however I have been trying for over an hour to download Bridge but the message ' Bridge is downloading'' is still there

Just got my new 4S. Backing up my 4 via USB and it has been over an hour 20GB on phone. It seems stuck at Step 8 Syncing Genius Data to Steve;s iPhone. Waiting for items to copy. The phone has the circles going round and round at the top right.
Do I cancel?

SteveI Steve, I was having this issue with my iPhone 4 for now reason it started 'waiting for date' forever after the genius. In the end i reset it back to factory and resored from the last back up and all is well again.

Why do I miss about half of my emails on the iPad?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by points having an "image" on the X-Axis. If you would like to plot something without the points being shown, then you can set the "Point style" to "None" under the "Plots" tab.

20-second clip taking over an hour to generate audio waveform
After trying to figure out where my "share" files were winding up, I realized they haven't even finished rendering.
I've got one 20-second clip with audio.
It's been in the "Generating Audio Waveform" stage for the last 90 minutes (or longer). There's no %-complete indicator, so I can't actually tell if any progress is being made.
Does this seem reasonable?
I'm wondering if I should just cancel all sharing operations and try again.

I went ahead and cancelled all of the rendering and sharing background tasks and started over with the Sharing, now it just says 0% and shows no progress or indication that background tasks are running. The "Generating Audio Waveform" isn't even a background task at this point, and it's been about 30 minutes.
I just closed FCP and will see what happens if I reboot the entire system and try again. -

I purchased an audiobook in Nov 2012 using iPhone 4S and then upgraded to iPhone 5 in Dec. Now I am not seeing the audio book in purchase history in iTunes. This means I am not able to get the book in my new iPhone. Please help.
Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store.
