HT201272 I downloaded Netflix we were having some difficulties so CSR@Netflix asked us to uninstall, we did now I tried to download from app/iTunes and looks like its going to download but in midst of it come up the billing thingy and asks me for pin auth
My question is this:If I already paid for an app besides the point that it's free,why do I need to give my bank card authorization again?furthermore why I can't download what is free to begin with?
Sorry that you are so upset but please calm down. Unfortunately, a little research into the product prior to purchase would have alerted you to the fact that the iPod never was and never has been like other MP3 players. This is perhaps why it is the leader in Market Share for all of these years. The iPod and iTunes go hand and hand. Also, the website and the packaging box give a little warning to the reccommended need for a Broadband connection. The size of the box give away the fact that a CD is no longer included. If you have access to a computer with high speed access then a copy of iTunes 7 can be saved to a disc for you. Also, since this is a new thing that Apple started (no longer providing discs) enough feedback may get them to go back to the old ways...not promised but possible.
Your frustration right now isn't really with the iPod itself as you have not fairly had the opportunity to use it. It's with the setup. I'm sure it's frustrating to have to go through the download via dialup but it's not enough to get that worked up about. All will be well. Life is too short to sweet the small stuff.
Although you are currently downloading it, you may still want to consider having a back up copy made to disc for you just in case you have a future. Here's hoping that once this hassle is cleared things will be better for you and you can maybe smile...or grin a little!

Since I actualize my iphone 4 to ios6 I can´t download applications from app store in it they seem to by downloading but within some seconds it's like if not clicked the download button. But then I have "waiting" mode applications that I never search for.

I want to download the new updates I think to the 10.9 but our mac was given to us and when it comes to the last page it asks for the user name and password but this mac was wiped clean. How do I find out this info so I can get iPhoto? To be honest I'm not even sure what type of Mac I have and don't know how to find out what kind it is

If you don't have the user name and password used to set up the machine then you need to purchase the apps for yourself. -

Press and hold any of the apps on your iPad's homescreen and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the top left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'.
Note that deleting an app will delete all of its content as well -
I have recently purchased a new computer and photoshop element. It looks like its downloaded it but I don't know how to access it. it says file are ready...down load files have been extracted and saved to folder....launch PS elements and open specific folder. it looks like it downloads. It then keeps taking me back to this page. Im not sure where to go next
if you have a win os you should have dl'd an exe and a 7z file.
put both in the same directory and double click the exe. -
I have had two movie rentals, stop in the middle of downloading tonight, both giving me the error message "(err = 50)" -- It looks like its a network connectivity message, but I'm connected. Any idea on what could be causing this? I cannot find info anywhere!

I'm also having a music issue. When my phone is attached to the computer (mac running 10.6.8) it looks like my music is there but its gray and I can't play anything. I've tried to delete it and it won't let me but it does not show up on my phone.
By the way, I have tried shutting of the display switching in the power settings. That was basically the only real answer I found anywhere. It didn't work.

I installed Photoshop Elements 11 on a new computer a month ago. It opened several times until yesterday. I uninstalled it and now am trying to reinstall from the CDs that I own and it will not read the disk. Nothing happens. I had previously downloaded it to my laptop and work computer. How do I install it again?
You can't run PSE from a USB drive, nor can you transfer PSE to a different computer via a USB drive. PSE must be installed on a computer using the installer program provided by Adobe.

We have about 200 users that connect to three terminal servers. On the servers we have Office 2013 installed. Several users are stating that when they attempt to search for templates or insert Online Pictures, they are getting error messages of "Sorry,
we are having some temporary server issues. You can work off line if you plan to insert pictures from your computer"
Remember, they are connecting to a terminal server, all have roaming profiles, and for some users this works fine.
We've Googled the error message and found no help. A lot of responses was to reset the IE settings, which we've tried to no avail.
Also as a test, we took one of the users that was having the issue and deleted their profile. When they logged back on the server, the same problem occurred again.
We're currently at a loss as to why it works for some users and not others?

I just turned on my Apple Macbook pro. Whenever, I turn it on, the progress bar comes with the Apple symbol and after few secs, it turns off by itself. Safe mode on start up does not work either...any ideas?

I just downloaded Lightroom 5 Trial, I have lightroom 3 already on my Mac. I noticed my computer is low on space and wondered if its because I downloaded the trial. Lightroom 5 now has all my photos in it- are those copies of the photos in Lightroom 3? Did the download copy over all my catalogs?
No, that would not happen. Lightroom does not copy your photos into its catalogs. If you had one copy of the photo before you did this, you will still have one copy of the photo.
What Lightroom does is creates small thumbnail versions of your photos (called "previews"). Depending on how many photos you have, and options that you set in the program, these previews may or may not take up a lot of space.
Why don't you use your operating system to see what is taking up space? Report back, and we can advise you further.

Hi there, I've noticed that Illustrator CS4 displays the white swatch as gray in swatches palette. The unfortunate thing is that when I place the Illustrator file that has white in the art into InDesign, everything that is colored white appears gray.

Firefox does not offer to save or actually save open tabs on version 3.6.8
