I dowloaded a free app to my iPhone4S. I liked the app, so I purchesed the full version.
It's nowhere on my phone or MacBook. iTunes shows the app as downloaded and the download button is greyed out.
I tried to download it again from the updates on my phone, purchased section, and it's not there either.
Billing has charged me for the app, now I would like to find it or redownload it, if someone can please tell me how to do that.
The App Store app is a built-in app, so it can't be deleted/redownloaded. Have you tried closing the app via the multitasking bar and seeing if it works when you re-open it ?
iOS 7 : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the App Store app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
iOS 6 and below : from the home screen (i.e. not with the App Store 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the App Store app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then you could try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I have downloaded several free apps, then purchased the full app later. Why when I try and reload from iCloud is it only reloading the free content.
You can change the settings in Security & Privacy to "Anywhere"...
That should work... as to whether the printer driver will work, that's another question.

I purchased the display version of my Macbook Pro at a navy exchange. The woman working at the store did not know how to reset to factory so I took it home as was. I have been using it for about a month and the laptop had Pages and Keynote on it already. I just reset to factory settings and it now has neither. Is there a way to get these back for free? I think my computer purchase makes it eligible to have these apps for free but since I reset it they are gone.
Go to the App Store where you can purchase copies of the apps. You cannot get them for free. The ones installed belonged to the previous owner. You will need to purchase using your Apple ID.

KristineFinish the download on your computer in iTunes and then sync the app to the iPad and then delete it. You will probably have to let it fully download before you can delete it.
You can try restarting the iPad and see if the download will resume - Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Yoy can try this as well and see if the download will resume. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Look in iTunes and see if there is a pending download in there that might be causing the delay. If there is a download there, try to finish that one first. -

I've made a change to your current Adobe ID with USA as the country so please go ahead and create a new Adobe ID with the correct country using the same email address.
You'll then be able to sign up for a paid membership.

when trying to sync apps I get this err: it requires a newer version of iPod software. Yet when I connect to itunes, it says I already have updated version. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I just bought an App, $29.99. I got the free version apparently. Every time i try to use it message says buy the full version for 39.99. What i am suppose to do now????
Excuse me moinpara, but I know how you feel and I have been there many of times. It is not Itunes fault that your purchase inquiry was proposed to you as invalid, rather much more sort of than rather it being. If this happened to me, I would research that App, try to find out what went wrong. Heh, if you or I were to ask myself I could either tell you that you are putting yourself in a hole! Woah, but now this seems to me like something that would be simple to just contact an iPhone or apple associate and tell them why this happened to you, especially right after Christmas, or whatever religious holiday you choose to follow
If I were to be in your shoes I would of spent the money in the itunes store on something else! But that is just me. -
I tried PES2012 "Pro evolution 2012" which i liked but slow, thinking if i buy the full version it could be faster, but after bought the game got to know it's still slow, the acceleration is still locked and slow, my complain is that it's slow, Fifa 12 also is slow, i like Fifa 11 because it's fast, please need back the money

I downloaded the new version of pages about a month ago. Today I tried to open documents that I created and saved with the new version and received a message that I needed to download the new version. The app store shows the download. HUH?!?
I'm not sure what you mean by it making accessing files more complicated. I have both Pages 4.3 & Pages 5.1 icons in my Dock as well as Numbers 2.3 & Numbers 3.1. I continue to use the iWork '09 versions for my everyday needs. As long as the new versions are in your Applications folder & the '09 versions in the iWork '09 folder, Software Update will not have a problem updating them even if Apple should come out with a new update for the '09 versions.
Because I have moved the new versions to an external drive & renamed the apps because I want '09 to be the default apps, I do have to remember to move them back to my applications folder & restore the original names before updating. But since you like the new versions this "complication" doesn't apply to you. -
I bought an app which was free. To get the full version I then paid for it. I used it for months and now it's saying I have not got the full version and I no longer have access to the full app like I used to.
Try contacting the app support of the particular app your using.
Most apps have an app support button on their app page within itunes.
If they wont reply within a reasonable amount of time and you feel like the particular app developer has cheated you, bring the issue forward to apple care.
Note that app developer have their own customer support. -
Followed the directions on the support page: at itunes store, logged into my account, clicked on "Purchased", clicked on icon next to "Prep & Pantry", it only down loaded the "lite" version. No full version noted anywhere under "Purchased", although my account does show I paid for the full version. Full version IS on my iPad but did not transfer during syncing either. I sync with my a laptop that has windows xp (older laptop, will not support windows 7). Any suggestions?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.The PC does support 4Gb of ram, although it's the max it supports, it does support it. I have read quite a bit about other people having this issue with other systems and I've gone all through my bios looking for SOME sort of option that I can at least play around with, but there's nothing there. I've also upgraded the bios thinking that "maybe" it could be something with that. The video card I'm using is a Nvidia Quadro NVS 420 512 Mb. I've tried disabling IndirectMemoryAccess in my xorg.conf thinking that might be messing with it somehow, but it did nothing. I just tried removing the video card altogether and running w/ the onboard video and alas! I recovered 512Mb, which I would be pleased with, but when I add the card back, the available ram disappears again. So now my question is this... Why would the kernel be reserving 512Mb of system ram for a card that has 512Mb of ram built in (at the same time not visibly acknowledging the fact that it exists)? Is this maybe a kernel option that I can pass at boot to disable it from reserving the system ram?

Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:
