If you haven't done so already use the menu Store > Sign In...
Select iTunes Store in the left-hand column of the iTunes window, then select Purchased from the Quick Links panel on the right.
Click Music and Not on this computer to show your available past music purchases.

I backed up my old core 2 duo imac and and was trying to transfer files to my new 2011 imac and when i go to oppen a folder from what i transferred it says "The folder “Music” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents". Your account names are probably different on the two Macs. If you know the UNIX command line, open a terminal window and run:
$ id
You should see a line that starts with something like this:
uid=501(your_user_id_here)
now check the owner of the folder you copied over:
$ ls -ld Music
drwx------+ 8 some_user_id_here staff 272 May 14 16:08 Music
Do the IDs match? If not, you could change the ownership. Say your id is "johnsmith"
$ chown -R johnsmith Music
Now try and access it with iTunes. -

i have problems to download my resent purchased music and videos on my Mac, they wont download because an error, it sais that i don´t have priviliges and conection erros is marked....

At first blush, what you've written looks fine to me (assuming all the correct grants, etc. work in other business areas in the EUL).
So, let me just go over it.
1. You granted security (not privs) on the business area to a role 'B_User'. That means that anyone going into Disco using that role will let them see the underlying data.
2. You've granted privs to the role 'B_User' to be able to play with Disco. That looks fine.
3. You've written workbooks that have been shared with the role 'B_User'. That means that the end user can run a workbook.
So what I'd look at are:
4. I assume you only have 1 EUL and if not, are pointing to the correct one (in Tools -> Options -> EUL.
5. Did you create the workbooks in Disco Plus or Disco Desktop?
6. Have you tried to run the same workbooks in Disco Desktop?
7. When you did all the Admin stuff, did you reconnect in Disco Plus / Desktop before going on?
8. Did you assign the role to the user - at the database level you're having problems with?
9. Was it Friday the 13th. when you did all this - okay, maybe that's not an issue, but reaching here.

I recently had a hard drive crash and lost almost everything except for what I managed to save on Carbonite. When I got the new hard drive, I updated to Lion and began the laborious process of restoring my files. I think it is up to 40% done.
Anyway, I went to try to transfer my purchases from my iPad2 (4.3.3) and received the message: "You do not have enough access privileges for this operation" followed by: "Attempting to copy to Hard drive failed. You do not have enough access priviledges for this operation."
So, I did a search on the problem and have found similar complaints and some reasonable suggestions, which I attempted without success. So far I have:
1) Rebooted
2) Changed all the Permissions on the iPhoto Library and iTunes folders to Read & Write.
3) Used Disk Utility to Verify & Repair permissions.
Nothing is working.
HELP!Had the same thing happen to me a few weeks back when I switched computers and migrated. Here's what worked on my iMac, so maybe it'll work on your iPad, too. Go to User(your home folder)/Music. Select/highlight your "Music" folder. Then do Command-I ("Get Info" from the File menu), click on the padlock icon in the lower right of the new window. Enter your user password. Click on your username just above the now-open padlock. Select "Read & Write" if it's on "Read Only," "Write Only," or "No Access." Now having your user account with "Read & Write" privileges (it may have been this way already; still do this next step), click on the gear on the bottom-center of that window. Click on "Apply to all enclosed items." When the pop-up says "Are you sure?" (or the equivalent), say "yes." This will grant access privileges to your user account for all the music files inside your music folder--all your iTunes stuff included). Then you should be good to go.

I often download tv shows on apple tv. All of a sudden, my screen does not display download options for tv shows. I can download movies no problem

Check your store location is set correctly, if this doesn't help, try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for a 30 seconds. -

I have a Macbook Pro. I just purchased Acrobat Pro DC and keep getting an error message when I try to download, saying I need to contact support. I've eliminated previous versions of the application because they were US-based versions and I'm now living in Australia. I have updated my iPhone 3Gs to the latest software in an attempt to iron out a problem with a new telephone network provider (Tmobile). I had backed up my phone before I did this. Now I have lost my music and apps. I can't sync the phone with my Mac, I can't re-download from iTunes as the phone says I don't have any music or apps available to re-download although it all shows up on my Mac. The music and app content cannot be restored when I try to restore the phone from the back up I madeon my Mac. Help!
Working on that now. I'm just getting frustrated that everytime I run updates for the phone I end up with tech problems that I have to spend time solving as opposed to updates that actually improve my usage. Now I will once again get to spend hours reloading my phone all for updates that didn't affect my usage in the first place.

My iphone / mac no longer recognize they are the same Itunes library. When I try to sync my phone now, it wants to erase everything and replace it with the computers itunes library. I have purchased items on the phone I don't want to erase them from the phone. The phone backs up fine, but won't sync.
File>Devices>Transfer Purchases from "iPhone" and then sync.

I have changed computer and my ipos wants to erase and sync to an empty list on the new computer. i don't have the music thats currently on the ipod on the computer. How do I get it across? You'll need the help of some sort of third party software such as CopyTrans or Phone to PC.
