Is the app still in your country's store (if it isn't then you won't be able to redownload it), you haven't changed countries since buying it (content is tied to the country as well as the account), and it isn't hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919 ?
If the app is no longer in your country's store then do you have a copy of it on your computer's iTunes library and/or on your backup of your downloads/library ?

I have the same problem as Sheilaza but haven't been able to solve it using the advice offered. The same problem applies to my Calendars. When I look at my iPad settings in iTunes, it says:
Sync Contacts
Your contacts are being synced with your iPad over the air from iCloud.
Over-the-air sync settings can be changed on your iPad.
and the same for Calendars.
On the iPad, in iCloud settings, I have checked 'Contacts' and 'Calendars' as 'ON' but the Calendar remains blank and the Contacts are a very old version that was somehow created when I set up the iPad initially.
Any ideas?

Given what you describe, I would deduce that the developer has not chosen to support yours. You can see what platforms they have chosen to support via your PC in BBWorld, when not logged into your BBID...search for the app and there will be drop down menus listing the BB models and OS levels the developer has chosen to support. The place to make your request, therefore, is to the app developer...plead with them to port their app to your device model and OS level.

Someone please help me. I'm new to playbook and when I try to download anything, pics apps or whatever it downloads but when I go to open it gives me an error saying "unable to find default app" and I can't open. Any ideas? Help I'm very frustrated and regretting this purchase.
Do a backup of all the files to your computer. All files that were installed except Apps will be backed up. Apps can be downloaded again from the App Store without any costs or problems. Then do a reinstall of the OS and reinstall the backup.

The App store is a iOS function and cannot be deleted. Try checking other home screens/folders and see if you can locate it. If not, go into Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

I need serious help please.. We do translations of schoolbooks, I looked for an over-type function but were unable to find, we are working in indesign CS 5. it takes up allot of time to delete text and type in the new language.
Argh that's frustrating! I never noticed that key did not work in InDesign.
A bit of research and it turns out the MS Office has this as an option in their software. But I cannot find an option in InDesign preferences to make this work.
However, somethings are not listed in the shortcuts and preferences and are hidden triggers in InDesign which can be accessed through a script.
I'm not saying it's possible to activate the Insert Key through a script, but it's plausible that it can be activated.

I know this may be a possibility as with InDesign's earlier versions of PDF export to interactive documents there previously was no way to export interactive pdfs as single pages if in Spreads.
But the option to toggle this setting was scriptable. -

To do this, they would need to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which will delete the account from their device but not from iCloud), then allow you to sign back in with your ID to create the new account. Then tap Delete Account to delete the new account from their device, and finally, sign back in with their iCloud ID to restore their iCloud account to their device. Then you can sign in with your ID on your phone in Settings>iCloud and use the new account.

That (an app no longer available) happens sometimes.
Your only way is if you have the appt on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case move it to your iTunes library and sync. -

See if any of the following fix it.
Try logging out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap 'Sign Out' on the popup and then log back in.
If that doesn't fix it then try closing the iTunes store app via the phone's multitasking bar and see if it works properly when you open the app : double-click the home button to open the taskbar and then swipe or drag iTunes from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and the click the home button to close the taskbar.
A third thing to try is a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot. -

Is it an iCloud reminder or a third party reminder like from an Exchange account(maybe your company provides this service together with mail etc..).
In the first case you should definitely be able to delete it by right click->delete or via https://www.icloud.com
In the second case there might be a browser based settings page from your company or the provider of the service (i.e. Exchange) itself. Otherwise you can go to your System Preferences -> Internet Accounts and deactivate reminders for this account. WARNING: this also deletes all other reminder lists and reminders from this service on your mac.
