HT201272 In-App purchase download failure

I purchased two "in-app" items which have failed to download but my credit card has been charged! I have attempted to contact the manufacturer of the app but they have not replied to any of my email requests. I don't know what else to do but contact Apple. Please help! The error message is "You've already purchased this In-App Purchase but it hasn't been downloaded.". Everytime I try to download the purchases I get a "failure" message. This is so frustrating.

In-App Purchase, downloadable with iTunes?

I downloaded GPS Navigation 2 - skobbler and made an in-app purchase (all maps of the world). But the files are several GB big and I don't have a wireless connection, so I'd have to download it through the cellular connection?! Can I download those files (in-app purchases) with iTunes? Downloading them through 3G connection will take forever and cost me a fortune...

I can see the apps i downloaded in iTunes store in iTunes, they are like faded, but I dont know how to transfer them to me iPhone

Are these songs? Apps? If songs, are they part of a playlist that syncs to the iPhone? If not, add them and they will sync. If Apps, make sure the box is checked in the Applications tab (with the iPhone connected and selected in the devices list).

Hi there! I think I've solved your problem. I went onto my "cause of death" app and pressed "restore" under the "play/resume" button. Hope this works out for you! I'm pretty sure you do the same for Surviving High school, too.

HT201272 ancestry app wont download purchased records onto iphone

Hi all this is my first post and really could do with some advice. I have an Iphone 4 with os 5.1 and have downloaded the ancestry app. I purchased two records, one downloaded no probs, the other will not download. Goes to purchase, click buy it then says already bought click ok to download, but will not! Plenty of storage, signed into store etc just wont do it. Any ideas??? thanks Helen

You just resync your iPhone with iTunes on your laptop.
If you are logged with the same Apple ID on both devices it should be available to download from your phone:
Open App Store app > Updates > Purchased

IM+ Pro Purchase Download Failure

Hi There all. I have purchased IM+ Pro for my Torch 9800. The process I followed is the following: On the mobile device, I went to BB App world, searched for IM+pro. Selected to purchase this application. After select to purchase, I was given a choice to pay with Paypal OR let my service provider bill me for the product. I chose the latter i.e. Service provider to bill me. App world then proceded to download the app to my phone. Unfortunately there was a break in the down load process and now I can not continue where I left off. When I restart the download from scratch I get given the payment choice again. I received an invoice from app world to my email address. I can send it invoice if you want to see. Do I need to pay for the app again? Please help.

I suggest that you clear the AppWorld application cache:
1. Open App World
2. Go to My World
3. Follow one (and only one!) of these steps:
3a. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and then press, in sequence R, then S, then T
3b. For Touch Screen Only BBs -- Hold the num-lock (!?123) button so it locks and then press, in sequence 3, then 4, then (
3c. For newer (e,g., OS6 and 7) BB's, see this KB:

4. AppWorld should close.
5. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot
6. Return to AppWorld (it may be sluggish while it re-synchronizes).
If step (4) does not happen as listed, then the clear cache did not work.

I have trying to buy the maps in fieldrunners and everytime I click on buy in the app it says connecting to itunes then exits the app and then nothing I have contacted the studio who created the app and tryed everythign they suggested like restarting the phone to redownloading the app even did both together but still nothing. I need help

Purchase/Download Failure

Been stockpiling songs into my shopping cart for several months waiting for the moment to download everything and when I "purchased" the music this am, the purchase went through, the shopping cart emptied, and I then got a notice that the music store couldn't complete the download. I'm obviously concerned about a bogus several hundred $ charge on my card, but am more anxious about having to recreate everything that was lost in the shopping cart. Hunted around the support website to see if there's a number to call when this happens and found nothing; called the general number and customer "service" advises that they don't offer "live" customer support for music purchases...just webmail. Sent off a webmail and they promise to get back within 3 days...are you kidding me? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Great tip, MacMuse...thanks. I went to the Advanced menu in iTunes and hit "Check for Purchases" and the download started up again. Not quite sure why it bombed out before (and was kind of odd bc not one of the 115 or so songs had even started to download when it stopped), but the Check for Purchases option triggered a download. FYI, before getting your tip, I figured out how to create a list of what was in my shopping cart by going to my account and checking out the "purchase history"...it filled the window with the list of all songs purchased...I then used the "Grab" utility to take a screenshot and print out the list. Based on your tip, though, it looks like nothing will have to be re-created.
Boy, MacMuse, you saved me the "72 hour wait" from Apple tech support...can't believe that you can't get someone on the phone when something like this happens.

I've spent a good deal of money on those purchases and now that I'vr updated to an iPhone 4S can I reload my previous purchases?
Cause it would really suck to have to pay for all of that content again...

i recently purchased an in app purchase which is showing up on my itunes account as a purchased but has not shown up on my ipod touch 4th gen. (think it was due to losing my wifi connection during download).
i went into problem solving on the itunes store to rectify the issue to discover that i needed to go via my app store on my ipod to purchase history, which on the ipod touch 4th gen is supposidly at the bottom of downloads... after trying this i discovered that i have no option to go into purchases as this does not exist on my downloads options nor does it exist anywhere on my ipod version of the app store?? can someone please help?? im miffed. :s

I just purchased this movie on Thursday, May 15, so just a few days ago. I have never had any trouble whatsoever since I have been in Vietnam. I have downloaded several movies and even music and they have all synced to my respected Apple products except for this purchase.

HT201272 I downloaded a previously purchased app. I have the receipt for the in app purchase, yet the game wants to charge me again to unlock. What do I do?

I have downloaded a past purchase from the app store through iTunes. It was a trial game that you unlock with an in app purchase. I paid the price and unlocked it months ago and still have the receipt.
When I try to restore the purchase, the in-app unlock is no longer working and the App Store wants to charge me another $4.99.
What do I do?

You CANNOT download music again.
You buy one and only one download. It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy to put the music back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup (not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod. File>Transfer Purchases
