HT201272 Is there a quick way to download the latest episode when you have a season pass?
I'm having issues downloading the latest episode in a season pass. They only way I can do it now is to get to each individual show page, and download. Is there no better/easier way to do this? I've asked Apple but they do not understand what I'm talking about and keep sending me to how to download previously purchased files.

All my tunes in my library have duplicated. 1,1,2,2,3.3. etc. Is there a quick way to delete the duplications - I have over a 1000. I have Windows 7.?? Help please.
in iTunes Mac there is in the File menu "show duplicates", should be there too in the windows version of iTunes. Just mark every double and delete it from the library.

Since downloading the latest ITunes update I have not been able to add photos to My IPad. Any hints please!

I purchased a tv series and downloaded the first episode, when I went to download the next episode a message popped up saying "this computer is already associated with an apple id.....You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 41 days" and won't let me download the rest of the shows even though I haven't changed accounts and I'm using the same account I purchased the shows with.
It's been months, so you may not care anymore, but you can't download songs from multiple Apple IDs over a 90 days period. Sorry, it's not allowed for legal reasons.

Is there a new way to download videos on Safari when using Lion?
Since I upgraded to Lion 10.7.3, the method I was using to download videos, from YouTube and other internet sites, no longer works. This method (with Snow Leopard) involved going to the Window menu, clicking on Activity, and finding the video file in a list, and double clicking it. Usually the video would still be downloading and would be a certain number of MB in a long list of files of various KB sizes.
Now, there is no downloadable file listed (in Activity) for the video I'm watching. Is there a way to download the video without purchasing additional software?If this can "help" you I remember that also in previous versions of OSX sometimes Activity Monitor did not show certain particular videos: I think it depends by the way the video is set on the web page (something too technical for me)
Anyway the best solution for downloading videos from the web will always be Firefox + the extension "DownLoadThemAll". Unfortunately there is nothing like it for Safari.
I have also tryed different Apps & Tricks for downloading easily videos from Youtube but the "Dream team" Firefox+DownLoadThemAll is always the best!
Maybe there is something similar with Greasekit but actually the "Activity" method works fine for me. -
I have two games tribez and tribez and Castle. As my new iPad air has a cracked screen I have to send it back for repair. I have to do a reset and restore backup when I get it back. Is there any way to back up above games. On tribez I have reached level 99 and will be annoying to starts again.
Do you have a computer with iTunes on it that you have associated the iPad with?
If the answer is yes, simply set iTunes up to back up the device locally, fully sync the apps, photos, movies, etc. A copy of everything, including the config of the device and all your settings (scores) will be made on the computer's drive. This even includes a backup copy of all the apps. When you get the replacement device (probably a refurbished blank unit), a Restore from that backup will totally reconstruct what you have today.
If the answer is no, you will have quite a bit more work to do in order to get back to the original state that the iGadget is currently in (minus the crack). -
HT201272 Cannot select SD to download the latest episode.
I purchased Season 3 of Falling Skies in SD, not HD.
I have to go in and manually download my purchases.
When I select the SD button, nothing happens, iTunes still displays the information for HD.
Because I cannot select SD, I cannot download the latest version (unless I buy it again).
Any help would be appreciated.I am with the rest of you. I currently have about 8 shows i bought the season pass for (all in SD), all of which have the same issue discussed above. In fact a lot of things stopped working along these lines. If i receive a notice email that i have new episodes ready for download and then use the "Store>Check For Available Downloads" option, comes back and says "All purchases have been downloaded for this ID". If i then try to go to the shows page and click the "SD" button, the "HD" tag next to the shows name is gone, but the HD price is still isted and and download the SD version is not an option, as discussed above. So my back up plan, as one of the last posters suggested, go to the "Purchased" page and download the items there. Usually this works, but sometimes the show, that has an episode ready for download, is not even listed there, though usually much later in the day will eventually appear there.
This all started happening to me maybe about 2 weeks is ago? Anyone else have this issue, find a solution, heard if apple is working on this? -
Any way to disable the automatic unzipping when you download a zip file?
For example, say I want to download a .zip archive, and have it stay a .zip archive so I can upload it somewhere else.
The problem with re-zipping it is that I don't want it to be a Mac .zip file with bogus resource forks and DS_STORE files in it (for Windows users). Any zip file you create on a Mac usually has these bogus extra files inside it - confusing to Windows users. If I download a Windows .zip, I want to keep it as a .zip that was zipped on Windows, if you follow me.Thank you! I was looking in the System preferences everywhere - did not think of Safari itself.
BTW, for anyone who cares, I also discovered that in Safari, even when you have the Preferences set to automatically unzip the files, you can override this by control-clicking on the file and choosing "Download Linked File as..." -

It's a problem with Gmail. There is another thread discussing it, but most would rather whine than try to fix it.
Nobody has figured out what is causing it, but there have been various suggestions.
One was to display the All Mail folder if you've hidden it.
You can delete by opt- delete. I think that will delete it immediately.
Another person looked in the user/Library/Mail/V2/ folder. He had duplicate account folders, having a sequence digit suffix. He deleted the duplicates and it fixed things.
