Does the track play correctly in Quicktime Player? If it does then it is an iTunes issue. If it doesn't then it is possible the file was not completely downloaded, or is corrupt.

This isn't possible.
The song's copyright holder would charge more for it if it was being played on multiple devices at once but overlooks the remote possibility that any given person would be playing the full song on two or more devices at the same time; there's much more chance of that happening if the song is converted into a ringtone, so they charge more.

Major problem.. I need to transfer the music from my ipod to my computer. but it seems that iTunes will only let transfer purchased songs from the itunes store?? :S

my computer recently crashed and i lost everything from it, literally.
I dont have my cds anymore as they were stolen from my car so the only thing that has my music on it is my ipod. I dont have it backed up at all
I've tried to tranfer it back onto the computer via itunes importing but it will only import purchased songs i got from itunes store.
Does anyone know how i can transfer the other music i got from other sources? please help

Unknown error won't let me purchase song

I bought a song few weeks ago and had to reformat and in the process lost it. Now when I opened Itunes again I tryed to buy it again but a message popped up saying "you have already purchased this item. Download it by pressing ok." I press ok and it says "Unable to check for purchases, unkown error has occured (-222)" I sent a report problem but it hasnt been answerd in over a week, is there anyway I can buy this song again or somehow download it?

Convert to Mp3 doesn't work with purchased songs

I bought via Itunes Musicstore some songs. Format ACC and protected. For my Ipod that's okay. For my daughters'MP3 player it is impossible to convert ACC protected files to MP3. Why is that? I bought the songs and I don't need the protection. What can I do?

You can't convert the protected files. The only way is to burn the protected tracks to an audio CD and then import them as MP3.

If you still have the entries for the songs in your iTunes library (even if the actual music files no longer exist), then iTunes assumes that you already have them and that there is no need to re-download them - try deleting the entry for one of them from iTunes and then try re-downloading it, and if it works then do the same for the others

Have you copied your content over from your old computer and onto the new on ? If not, and you still have your old computer, then there a number of methods described on this page which you can use to copy your library over : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527 . If you no longer have your old computer then have you got a backup of your content that you can copy onto the new computer and add into iTunes ?

You cannot and need to ask Apple to reset your security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if the article doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.
Changing the rescue email address requires supplying two of the answers. They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.
