Plug your phone into your computer and pull a back up if you have on from itunes.
Also verify you phone is using the correct software 6.1.3 or 6.1.2 Iphones are known for "losing" things when software becomes out of date.
If that doesn't work then I'd advised doing a a factory reset. Make sure you back up your phone to itunes first.
Does anything else not work or acting strange?

Correct. An app can only be updated under the Apple ID that was used to orginally acquire the app. If that is a problem you can delete the app and download again under the new userid. If you paid for the app you will have to pay again. Your old Apple ID does not go away so there is no reason to not use it to download the apps.
You cannot delete the apps that came with IOS. If you want to "hide" the apps simply put the apps into an application folder by dragging one app onto another. You can do this to all the IOS apps.

Since you can't delete apps that are part of iOS, you should try the same thing I do. I create a folder which I call Worthless and move to the last page of my iPhone. I then put all the apps that Apple includes with iOS into that folder. With the name Worthless, I never even tempted to look in there again. That is about the only thing you can do with worthless apps that are included with iOS.

First try a hard reset. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If still no luck, try downloading another free app from the App Store.

I have a pioneer 50 inch plasma   I purchased new from the company back in 2005.   I tried to hook up an Apple Tv to the pioneer receiver that came with the TV.   I can not get it to work.   The receiver has two HDMI inputs in the back.

The receiver has two HDMI inputs in the back. However they say they are not for PC's. Furthermore they must be set up by going to the home menu.    I tried everything, but I can not get the receiver to talk to the Apple TV. I even tried a connector that uses an HDMI to the Apple TV that has the other side of the cable as 5 RCA cables. I could not get the receiver to see the Apple TV.   I have a newer TV in the house, it has no problem talking with the Apple TV. But this older system seems to be handicapped in its ability to talk with the newer Apple TV system.

I could not access the Apple TV on the television.   If I put the Apple TV directly into by TV, I have an external sound system (entertainment system), therefore I worry that I would by pass the audio.

CHeck out iTunes Match which has an annual fee of £21 or thereabouts. You can store a maximum of 25,000 songs there and they all become available on your other kit, iPhone, iPad and iPod. I know it works as I have over 23000 songs uploaded of which only a few we're bought through iTunes.
it works by comparing your music to the whole iTunes music dadata base so you access the same tunes that you could get from iTunes. If you have obscure stuff, it uploads your own music to the cloud as a copy.
I Find it incredible that on my iPhone with its 16gb memory I can view almost 200 gb of music (ie my 23000 songs) and play any of them. Anything I add to iTunes becomes available via the cloud fairly quickly from a few minutes or a little longer if adding a lot.
The first time you use it it will take quite a while to match your music if you have a lot, but after that it is all automatic. Read the stuff on the apple site. Your PC needs to be at least running Vista. I recommend it and at less than 50p a week it's good value.

You can't delete the Calendar App. Do a search for Calendar in to iPhone search screen (before the first App screen). You may have placed it in a folder or moved it to another screen.
If you have problems you can use Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

I Was in the map app playing around and by mistake entered some places that I do not want. I've tried everything to delete them, but cannot find a way to clear them. I have even dropped a pin on one of the places and now I cannot remove the pin. I tried reporting a problem with the place that I dropped the pin and it reported it to Apple. The MOD files are actually mpeg2 files and should be able to be converted using mpegstreamclip, although you may have to manually change the file extension to mpg.

What Mac operating system are you running on your iMac?
Are you certain they're compatible?
Have you checked with HP to see if there's a newer driver?

Can I change the Apple ID assigned to the iLife apps that came with the Mac on purchase?

My wife and I own 3 apple devices. For ease we use one single Apple ID on all devices. Issue occured when my wife purchased the iMAC whilst I was overseas - during the in store set up (not knowing the impact) allowed the shop assistant set up a new Apple ID for her; resulting in the in built iLife apps (such as iPhoto) being associated to that Apple ID. We have since used the original Apple ID for everything on the MAC.
The problem occurs when app updates for the original iLife Apps are released - I can't update them under our Apple ID.
Can I delete iPhoto and re-install under our original ID without loosing all our photos - or is there an easier way to change the ID of the Apps?

If you simply just changed the email associated with that appleid you can just delete and Re-download the apps.
You can verify the above step by going to the App Store on device > Updates>Purchased - if you see the app there just delete it from the home screen and redownload from the purchased section
Now if you got rid of that account entirely, you will have to delete and re-purchase on your new account

You will have to use program that allows that kind of appointment/meeting set up - outlook/calendars. And then sync to your phone.
