HT201272 Purchased app no longer found anywhere...help?

I tried to update an existing app on my iPad.  However the iTunes store refused to acknowledge it's existence. I deleted the app, trying to force a re-install which unfortunately made it worse as the app then vanished from the list of purchased apps.  I did not realize that deleting a copy of an item you purchased meant that Apple could then delete your purchase history.
This app does not appear in the app store or even on a full search, except as other folks citing the app itself.
I've already done full restores.  Considering it took almost a week to fix last time (iOS update bricked my iPad) I'm a bit wary on trying again.
Any help appreciated.
App name: "BinauralBeats" one word.
iPad: iPad 2, 16 GB.
iOS (latest 8.whatever)

I can see an iPhone app called 'Binaural Beats', but not one without the space in the middle - if that's the app, and it's still in your country's store, then it should show in the Purchased tab for redownloading (click on the 'iPad Apps' button top right of the Purchased and select 'iPhone Apps' instead).
If the app is no longer in the store then you won't be able to redownload it, if that is the case do you have a copy in your computer's iTunes library or on your backup of your downloads/library so that you can sync it back ? Content providers can remove their items from the store at any time, ideally you'd be keeping and maintaining a backup copy of all of your downloads.
For a restore, no iTunes download is included in a backup, an iCloud restore will redownload what it can from the store, an iTunes restore will look for them in your iTunes library.

  • I have ios 5.1.1. When I sync to iTunes, my purchased apps no longer work. They blink but do not open. The only way I have been able to solve this, is as follows: I delete one of the apps and then re-download and install it. Then, all my apps work.

My new iPod touch 64 Gig has a problem after syncing with iTunes. My purchased apps no longer work. I touch them and they seem to try to open but they do not.
The only way I have found to fix this is as follows:
I delete one of the purchased apps. Then I go to the App Store and re-download and install the same app. After that, all my apps work again.
    Please help.

Download/install an app is a know possible solution.
    3. Install another app from the App Store
If all user-installed apps are not launching, it could be an Apple ID authorization issue. Download and install an app that isn't already installed on your device to reset this information.
Note: If you have installed apps using multiple Apple ID accounts, you may need to perform this step for each account.

Hello , my previous purchased app do not occur again ,help me plz ?

Have you changed countries since buying it, and is the app still available in your country's store ? If you've changed countries or it's been removed then you won't be able to redownload it - in which case do you have a copy of it in the Apps part of your computer's iTunes library, or on your backup of your downloads/library, so that you can sync it back to your iPad ?
If it is still in the store and it's not showing in the Purchased tab in the App Store app for redownloading then check to see if it's hidden : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases.

  • How to reload purchased apps no longer in app store?

I have an very old ipad 2. Over time, I purchased and loaded many apps from app store.  It have never been sync with an itunes.  Now I just got the new ipad air 2.  Both ipads runs iOS 8.1.  When I try to reload the apps from the "purchased" section of app store, I found some of the apps are no longer available in app store.   How do I transfer them from the old ipad to the new ipad?

Click here, follow the instructions, and sync the second device with the iTunes library containing the content.

  • HT5085 Previously Purchased Apps No Longer Available

    Hi everyone,
I've switched places of residence from Russia to Ukraine (subsequently changing required address information) in the Apple ID form after Ukraine had appeared in "the list of ICountries" using my new MacBook Pro (Retina). That went well. However, now I can't retrieve none of the previously purchased apps neither on my iPhone nor on my MacBook. On both devices, the iTunes' "Purchased" link leads to an empty list of previously purchased apps. Not fair, given that I had purchased a ton of apps in the past.
My iPhone and MacBook are authorised, and all other configurations seem in place. I still see what used to be my apps in the Purchase History. Am I missing something? Or is it just how it is now?
I'd be more than happy to get back my apps. Please help.

When you change accounts to another country, you no longer can use past purchases from the cloud from the former. International restrictions here...

  • Previously purchased apps no longer available?

    Dear All,
I am recently the owner of my new Iphone   I plugged it in to my computer to upload all the Apps that I had previously downloaded (quite a whille ago) for my Ipod Touch, before it got stolen.  These apps are still around today, ie Angry Birds, Quick Office etc.
I was able to view these apps in my previous purchases on Itunes about 3months ago, but now they are no longer there.
How can I get access to my old purchased apps?
    Thanks

On your iPhone, tap on App Store, then Updates, then Purchased. It should show all the apps you ever purchased with your Apple ID and allow you to download the ones you want onto your phone (by tapping on the cloud symbol). The next time you sync your phone, the apps you have downloaded onto your phone will transfer into iTunes.

  • HT201272 purchased app is missing

My app is completely missing from my purchased apps tab. I have a receipt from where I purchased it. How can I get it redownloaded on my phone. The app is Keeper back up, I paid $9.99 for it and it is gone.  Any ideas on how to get it back.

You can't download it, and as you can find it via the spotlight search screen then it is still on your iPod. You've checked all your homescreens and app folders for it ? There is a limit of 11 homescreens after which apps are only accessible via the spotlight screen. You can try doing Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout which might make it easier to find (it will reset all your homescreens and app folders)

If they were purchased using a different Apple ID than the one your phone is signed in to in Settings>iTunes & App Stores they won't appear until you sign into the other ID.  They also won't appear if they are no longer available in the app store.

  • Purchased Apps cant be found but do launch ?!

tldr:  App's installed trough the app store cant be found, not in finder (or alfred / terminal), not in applications folder, they are however integrated in the launchpad?!
    Hi and thanks for reading,
I did a clean install on my MacBook after having sold my iMac so i wouldn't have to bother with old or duplicate file's and so i would have just one working station with a fresh clean install. it's a late 2013 model 15" pro, on the latest Yosemite.
Having re-installed my favourite apps and hand selected files / images / music / gems / etc. i noticed that my favourite way of launching apps didn't worked any more!  Launching apps trough cmd-space action was always my to go short cut, it saved me a lot off time not having to leave the keyboard.
cmd+space "search phrase" == no result?
All apps like Pages, Numbers, Pocket, Keynote, etc. is installed with App store.
Using cmd+space i can launch and find Numbers and Keynote
Using cmd+space i can not find or launch Pocket or Pages.
With launchpad i can find (all) Pages / Numbers
Witch Applications folder i can find Numbers and Keynote, but not Pages or Pocket, although they are installed in the same time with Numbers and Keynote.
    What i tried:
    - checked the finder setting, application folder, trash bin.
    - I removed and reinstalled all app's bought with the app store                               x no-solution
    - signed oud, deleted the apps, restarted, signed back in, downloaded again        x no-solution
    - rebuilding the finder spotlight-v100 with mdutil                                                      x no-solution
    - find Pages.app with grep / find / locate   (in terminal)                                            x no-result ( while it still launches.. )
i'm kinda stuck here now after googling and searching for to long of a period.
What could possibly be wrong here?
    Appreciate all help and response

This is because OS X can read those partitions as if it was an extension of it's own data storage.  I had Snow Leopard and Mavericks on my system at the same time (separate physical drives) and whenever I used App Store to update Mavericks, it always tried to update the Snow Leopard apps as well.  It can get quite messy if you don't watch what you are doing.  Bootcamp at least is ignored by the OS so I don't have to worry about it searching for files et al on that drive.

  • Apps no longer found on App Store - despite long been "Ready for Sale"

As discovered yesterday, all our paid apps have been "lost" from the iOS App Store.
    An alert saying:
"Your request could not be completed. The item you've requested is not currently available in the US store."
    ...appears instead.
Nowhere are they to be found, either by navigating directly to their urls in a browser, or by searching via iTunes on computer, iPhone or iPad.
Not even when clicking the link from within:
[ my developers account > iTunes Connect > Manage your account > [particular app] > View in app store ]
...will they appear, despite them being marked as "Ready for Sale".
This has been confirmed for the Swedish and US app stores so far, on different computers/locations.
All these apps were approved between mid 2009 and mid 2010, and all have long had (and still have) the status "Ready for Sale" and are distributed worldwide.
At the same time, only our FREE-apps are still to be found on the App Store.
I've submitted a report to their support, but receiving a reply could take a while and in the meantime I'm loosing income.
Does anybody know what's going on?
Is this happening for others, or is it just our apps? Has this happened to others before?
    Thanks.

Yes, apparently all of a sudden my previously active iOS-contract has been placed under "Request Contracts" instead of in "Contracts In Effect".
When there's a change in contracts you'll always get a notification from Apple is my experience, but now nothing.
My iAD and Free-contracts are still in effect, though.
Could it be connection with having just paid the Mac OS X-developer fee? I strictly remember having ADDED this to my existing account, not creating a new one.
So should I request a new contract, with all the hassle of having to send them the w8ben-form etc (taking forever)? Or is it a shorter process since I've been a registered developer for more than 2 years?
Eh, I'll go ahead and click the "Request"-button for the iOS contract. If you have any more input I'll gladly hear it.

  • Cannot purchase apps on my Iphone4. Help!

When I try to purchase an app on my iPhone I get a response that reads " your credit card does not match your banks records." the reason being is Bc I got a new card! Won't accept my new card! Help!

Rather than a "bug" - it appears to be some bizarre issue with the Apple servers that has been going on for a few days now. Users have had a few different issues with the App Store and a couple of them seem to have been fixed, but now this issue has cropped in the last couple of days.
No matter what we call this - it is not a necessary procedure, it's just fluke thing that needs to be addressed by Apple. This is not normal protocol for downloading apps from the App Store.

  • Purchased Apps no longer being listed

I've purchased 2 app's, one Apple, paid for - Remote Desktop and the other free - Alfred. Last week they were listed in the purchased tab. Currently they are not showing at all. If I search for the app's in the store, they are showing as 'installed'. Any idea why they have 'gone' from purchased, is there any way to get them listed back ? I don't think I should have to re-download the applications again to trigger this ? Thanks.

    HI Guy,
Quit the Mac App Store if it's open.
Launch iTunes. From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Click: *Reset Warnings* and *Reset cache*, click OK. Now from the iTunes menu bar click Store / View My Account. Click Sign Out from the dropdown dialog pane.
Check your Applications folder for the apps you have downloaded and installed. More about that here.

And, always a good idea to backup your purchased or free apps, help here for that.

  • Purchased apps not longer shown as "downloaded"

I am using iTunes on the computer, not on my iPod.
Just an observation I have noticed this afternoon when browsing the App Store.
Previously I noticed that any apps that i have purchased and downloaded show a disabled "DOWNLOADED" button. Any apps that I have previously purchased and require an update will show "UPDATE" on the button.
Now it seems that all apps show the price or "FREE APP", and I do not know which items I have purchased or require an update now.
If I attempt to download or update an app, I take pot luck whether I can download it or not without the dreaded "You have already purchased this item" error message.
Has anyone else had this same experience? And if so, is there a way to fix it so I am able to see from browsing the App Store the purchases / update that I need?
    Any assistance is welcome.

I am also experiencing this lack of "DOWNLOADED" or "DOWNLOAD" tags (or "INSTALL" if on an iOS device). I agree that this should be fixed.
Relying solely on the "Purchased" listing is dissapointing.

  • HT201272 purchased app on iPad missing on iPhone

I bought an app for my iPad, and downloaded on my iPhone, expecting to have it exactly as in the iPad, meaning, with the characteristics of the purchased one, but on the iPhone it was just like a trial, Do I have to pay for it again to have the full app?

If the app is universal, noted by the "+" sign in the itunes store, then it will work on both.
Otherwise you would need to buy the iphone version.
