I downloaded HD episodes not realizing I couldn't watch them. Now I see no way to download the SD version without paying for them again!
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer, for just such an occasion.
Use your backup to put them back.
You get only one download.

I downloaded a TV show directly to my IPAD, how can I download that TV show to other devices on the same account without paying twice?Whether you can re-download them for free depends upon what country that you are in - tv shows can't be re-downloaded in all countries. If they show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes app on your other devices, or the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes then you can re-download them. Otherwise you can copy them from your iPad to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases and then sync them to your other devices.

A few songs from my old purchase is not available for download. It shows as purchased but I can't download it. Please help me resolve this problem, what do I need to do to enable download for all my purchased songs/movies etc.

Downloads with Safari show wrong date
Hi, this is my first post and I'm stumped.
When I download a file (i.e. PDF) via Safari on either my Imac or Macbook (4.03 and 4.02) both running Leopard 10.5.7 it shows up in my downloads folder with the wrong date: wrong year, month, and day.
When I download the same file with Firefox the download date is correct.
Does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this annoying problem? Thanks.Ok. I just downloaded a PDF via Safari that shows the creation date as: 23/12/08 1:10 AM.
Same file downloaded via Firefox shows date correctly: today at 9:16 PM.
The date from Safari has been all over the map... 03, 07, 00 etc. all different.

I have an ipod 8generation and i deleted all of my things to download a few shows then deleted them to get my things back but it wont let me it says i have no space. Why?

Sometimes that you see something it saves in cache, (or could be that the show is in progress to be deleted) so here's the problem.
Just restart your device to see if the cache of the shows deletes themselves.
Then try to import your music again.

I have rented two movies on my laptop and they will not completely download..it shows that they are theere but when i try to watch them on my laptop or my ipad it wont open up???? help
Welcome to the Apple community.
A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals. -
I bought a Mac Book Pro retina display, Serial Number C02J*****2, on 8/11/2012. Unfortunately, I am unable to download updates from the App store.Whenever I tried to download updates, it shows me an error message, "we could not complete your request. there is an error in the App Store. Try again later (100). Your Apple ID has been disabled, contact iTune support". However,the problem still persists even after my password has been successfully reset. What is is the error in the app store? I really need help to resolve this issue.
Moreover,I also need help how to update to the mountain lion free of charge as my Mac pro is four(4) days old.

I have purchased and downloaded some TV Shows through iTunes. How can I watch them on my iPad without an internet connection?
Demo the same thing happened to me. I purchased a seasons pass for Sons of Anarchy Season 6 and I've got the eposides on my IPad but Airplay won't allow me to watch the episodes without an internet connection or WiFi. Is there anything else I can do so that I can watch these eposides without an internet or wifi connections?

How do i stop automatic downloads of tv shows from other devices
If i buy or download a tv show on another device such as apple tv or an ipad, how do i stop it from downloading automatically when i open up itunes in my IMAC?

There is no way to designate one specific purchased item to not auto-download and remain in the cloud, but you can specify certain kinds of purchased items like videos, music, books, etc.
In iTunes > Preferences > Store Preferences on your computer, make sure to uncheck "Always check for available downloads" and "Automatically download pre-orders".
Initiate the purchase on a device other your computer. The simplest way would be to initiate the purchase on a Apple TV, as those purchases will now remain in the cloud and not auto-download to iTunes on your computer.

My downloads are not showing up
Anything I download (attachments from emails for instance) are not showing up. There is no longer an icon at the bottom of my screen for it and when I go to Finder, the downloads don't show up there either.
Try making a new app and see if that works. If it does, let me know. If it doesn't, let me know

Downloaded items not showing up in Purchased List
I have found that often items that appear to have been downloaded do NOT show up in the purchased list. I will stop using this release. it *****. Plus one cannot view downloads, and one cannot easily sleect a song and see genius suggestions as before.Things are not looking good for Apple these days.

I understand that iTunes 10.7 is available, but when I try to download, I still show 10.6. etc. Is this just a matter of the servers being overloaded with requests right now ? TIA
There are intermittent issues reported with iTunes reporting that the update is available, but ASU not showing it as an option to install. (Got that a bit with the last 10.6.x version, too.)
If that's what is going on, I'd try updating your iTunes using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file downloaded from the Apple website:

The way that you would transfer photos from iPhoto to the iPad would be to sync with iTunes. Connect the iPad to your Mac with the cable and launch iTunes. Select your iPad under the devices heading on the left. Then click on the Photos tab in the iTunes window on the right. You can select the folder from which you want to sync your photos in the drop down menu bar - so select iPhoto there. Then select the album or events that you want to sync from the windows below. After you have made your selections, click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes.
I am not sure how the iPad will handle a slide show in the photos app that was created on your Mac. You can create basic slide shows on the iPad using the different albums, events or faces that you have in the Photo app, but as for the captioning that you have already set up, I don't know how that will work in the app when you sync the slide show. -

It's not just Download Helper v4.8.3, it's also RealPlayer: the download display window shows .mp3 files downloading, but nothing shows in the folder when it is done downloading.
Also in the '''Properties''' window of Windows Explorer I '''no longer have the Details tab''', so I can't update my mp3 files with Artist, Album, Genre, etc. But the details tab does show up when I access it thru Windows Explorer.
I ran the AVG rescue disc an no viruses found. Now on '''FF3.6.15''' '''RealPlayer''' shows when I right click but then '''immediately disappears and an icon appears in the System Tray''', but as soon '''as I hover my mouse over it it disappears'''.

Download Manager not showing songs
Okay, so I've been trying to figure this out....
I want to get the PC copies of songs that I have on my phone. So I downloaded the MP3 Download Manager.
I probably have 10-15 songs that I've downloaded to my phone from the VCast Store. I am showing 0 songs currently on my MP3 Download Manager (and yes, I am signed in.)
Can someone tell me what's wrong with this picture?Nevermind. Apparently the MP3 Download Manager is a non-functional piece of software, created by Verizon to take up space on my computer.
I kept searching, found the VCast Music with Rhapsody program and the first thing it did when installed was ask me which of the following songs I wanted to download, and it showed me all of the songs I had been looking for. -.-
