HT201272 Some of my previous purchases aren't showing up on the iTunes store. It says "Purchased" but won't let me download them. Is there any way to fix this?
I've been making my iTunes music purchases on my iPhone for over a year now. I bought a new one so I relied on iCloud to keep my purchases on record. When downloading my songs, I saw that some of them were missing. When I logged into the iTunes store, it said that the albums (yes entire albums are missing) have been "PURCHASED", therefore I can't buy them again. And they don't have that iCloud icon on them to download them (since I have already purchased them). I checked my iTunes account on both my PC and my iPhone and still nothing. These aren't old purchases, but ones that I made a few months ago. Can anyone help me get my music back??
If they aren't showing in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app (and the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes) for redownloading then have you checked to see if they are hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919 ?

Could be a corrupt download of those particular songs...

I am using a Macbook Pro with 2GHz Intel Core i7 processor; 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 memory and OS 10.9.4. I have iPhoto 9.5.1 and iMovie 10.0.4. I have a project with video, and have added some still photos from my iPhoto Library. All of the photos appear fine until I add them to a project. Then some of them turn to a solid green. If I create a mp4 from this project, the offending photos remain green.
I have checked the offenders in iPhoto to see if there is a common denominator. There is no common camera and no common editing. I did make a previous attempt to place some of the photos into an iMovie project and some of them were dropped into the wrong place--like into a title. But didn't notice any glitches at that time, only afterwards and I'm not sure if any of the problem photos were a part of that incident.
I have absolutely no problem with iPhoto. Is there a library file that can be deleted to force iMovie to rebuild its connection to iPhoto.Only to load your backup from before downloading the MM photos

I renamed my ipad and now some of the apps installed by the previous owner do not work. Can this be fixed?
Apps are not tied to the machine, but to the owner and his/her account. Once you set up the iPad with your iTunes account, all the apps downloaded by the previous owner will be gone and you will have to get them again. The only ones that should stay are the built-in apps that can't be deleted - YouTube, Safari, Contacts, etc.

I think I used Disk Utility on this flash drive before and know it won't show that it's a flash drive, my other flash drives still show up as flash drives so is there anyway to fix this? I'm on Mac OS X 10.9.3.
A workaround.
If you would like to change the drive icon:
- Under Finder right click on a flash drive and choose " Get Info "
- click on the disk icon at the top, from the desktop menu select Edit -> Copy
- Under Finder right click on the problematic volume and choose " Get Info "
- click on the disk icon at the top, from the desktop menu select Edit -> Paste

Phone is LG G3. I find it odd that I have to cycle through airplane mode to fix this particular issue.
There has been no improvement thus far.
I recently switched from AT&T for a cheaper price, but so far my experience connection-wise across Chicago has been absolutely terrible. Where I used to get 4-5 bars 4GLTE in my apartment at 60640, I now get 3G if I'm lucky (have NEVER seen 1X before on AT&T even in the most remote of locations).
I also have poor connections near my work at 60611. Had (again) a bar of 1X and the person next to me had 3 bars 4G LTE with AT&T again.
So far plenty of regrets... and doing my research, I see many complaints in Chicago LTE services. Hoping there is a fix out there soon. -

If you've been using your phone as recommended, your contacts are safe on your computer in Outlook or Address Book, or with a cloud service. Just synch them back.
If you HAVEN'T been using your phone as recommended, well, you just lost your contacts. Now you know why synching your contacts with a cloud service or with your computer is recommended.

Why all my previous downloaded apps (free or paid) suddenly not showing up on the iTunes store "purchased" section. Every time I select "purchased", the next screen shows "no purchased app available for downloaded"?? It is the same on my iphone4 or ipad 2!! Please help!!

I have to actually same problem today 23.10.2012. For an example I have only changed billing methods and have bought hundreds of apps but I remember clearly that I bought for an example ,,Wikipanion Plus'' and ,,OPlayer'' which is now HD OPlayer and I did not see them in purchased items, neither ,,not on ipad/iphone'' nour ,,not on my computer'' and I check in both my computer. I confirm hereby that I took the chance to re-buy these two Apps again through the same account but I got the message ,,As you have bought the previous version on this account you will get this update for free'' so I clicked yes and I got them both. This doesnt only proof that I have purchased them before and purchased items in iTunes Store has some lacks to fix but also it proofs that I also bought them through that specific account as I had to confirm the buying process. In my opnion this is not a thing which Apple should be relaxed with as its very important that powerusers and regular consumers can trust and rely on doing business and to shop via iTunes. I have a lot of expensive Apple Hardware and for me this is a stepping stone and a serious test on the circle of trust. If this cant be fixed I cannot recommend others to trust the store.

I'm trying to get itunes up and running on new computer. I have lots of music I've purchased from Itunes...and they show in my account. But only some of them have the cloud next to them. The rest say "downloaded" and it won't let me download them again.
I believe that all audiobooks are supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them requiring the one-time only download. My previous audiobook purchases won't let me download them, they are making me repurchase.
I don't need to check anything. Apple does not hold the copyrights on the audio books they sell and if the holders of those copyrights say you can't re-download then you can't re-download. Your complaint is not with Apple but with the them.
I agree with you that you should be able to re-download those items and that they are simply protecting profits. But the reality is you can't re-download audio books. If you have not backed them up locally the rights holders don't care. They are happy to take your money again. Which is what they want anyway. -
I bought a song off of the itunes store on my iphone but it wont play. I even tried to repurchase it but it says that I already purchased it. I have restarted my phone and turned it off but it still won't download or play. HELP!
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting that track from your phone and re-download it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on it, or the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page. -

Go into ''Tools > Options > General > Startup:When Firefox starts:'' and configure it as you want (probably to show your home page?).
