Stavo per acquistare il cd di Giorgio Gaber 'Io se fossi Gaber' ma, senza che mi fosse chiesta l'autorizzazione, è iniziato il dowload di 26 brani (anziché i 13 del cd). Ho interrotto il dowload per correggere l'errore ma mi accorgo che su iTunes Store risultano già scaricati 10 brani. A me interessa il cd completo a 13,99 euro. Non so se questo comporti l'acquisto automatico dei 10 brani erroneamente scaricati e se l'importo corrispondente sia già stato addebitato sulla mia carta di credito. In tal caso, giacché la procedura non è stata corretta e ciò non è dipeso dalla mia volontà ma da un errore imprevisto del sistema, chiedo di annullare l'eventuale acquisto dei 10 brani in modo da consentirmi, successivamente, l'acquisto dell'intero cd (13 brani).
Colgo l'occasione anche per un altro quesito: tempo fa ho acquistato da voi (il 5 aprile 2010 - ricevuta #204007766895 - n. ordine MGVL623Z3W - euro 8,99) il cd 'Alghero' di Giuni Russo. L'ho smarrito, non riesco più a trovarlo neppure nella Libreria di iTunes: è possibile recuperarlo, in qualche modo, attraverso un nuovo download gratuitamente (il cd è già stato pagato)?

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again.

Can someone help me please ? I was using itunes (downloading albums etc) just half an hour ago. I had a pop up asking me if i'd like to download the latest version of itunes, which i accepted. When the update had finshed downloading, i then restarted my computer, as i usually would. I have this same problem. It's like it is not Authorizing this Mac.
What happens when you try to listen to a preview on the Music Store?
Mine asks me to authorize again and gives me the error exactly as you said above.
What happens when you try to view your account information (in Music Store, click on your account name in the top right corner)?
Mine lets me authorize sucessfully and shows me my account information.
I have emailed iTunes support about this and they replied with a generic answer about Deauthorizing and re-authorizing the computer.
I even tried, to no avail, the tips here...

Hello, perhaps this may help: http://blogs.isaserver.org/shinder/2006/03/05/explanation-on-the-502-error-to-de lta-and-sun-sites/ the comments have some specific references to iTunes.
The issue is that it's almost certainly a problem with your firewall/proxy and not iTunes so you might be hard-pressed to find help here as suggesting help for private LAN infrastructure is not the same as suggesting help for iTunes. Usually I'd suggest turning the proxy off and work your way backwards to find out where the problem is but I guess this isn't possible.
Anyway, have a look at the link and see if it helps.

it seems to pick up South Africa and the UK - in fact I have set up an alternative UK apple ID so I suppose it sees my ipad, checks my "accounts" and constructs the note accordingly? Weird.
It would have been REALLY helpful to have a clear indication of content availability when setting up the South African account. I have found the several places where the experts explain how to work around this problem with fake US addresses and voucher payments. I don't want to do that.
