Everytime I click the link from the email it says I need to verify my billing info. Have done a few times, even switched cards and everything. Shut down iTunes, restarted and still the same problem occuring. Not showing up in my purchased playlist in my library or as iCloud items.
The only thing I can think of is that I have a credit on my account from a past gift card and maybe that has something to do with it...?

These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here.
Audiobooks (and ringtones) are currently a one-time only download. I believe that they are all supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them who are requiring the one-time only download restriction. To get it onto your other devices you will need to sync it via a computer. Depending upon what country that you are in, Audible.com have their own app (Audiobooks from Audible) so you might be able to buy direct from them, though I don't know whether you can buy within their app or download audiobooks directly from them within the app e.g. whether they need to be copied via a computer.

I am trying to download an album from ITUNES and I keep getting a "session has timed out" message with no further option but to try again. I get the same results. Anyone have any ideas?

There are a couple things that I would recommend trying. Try closing all open applications and power cycle the device. Next, go through the section labeled Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in the second article below. If the issue persists, try completely signing out of the iTunes Store on the iOS device and sign back in. Be sure to test downloading an application after each step.

I'm getting a similar problem with my Macbook Pro. itunes match was working fine until two days ago when i created another 'user id' for the laptop and then an itunes account for that user under their profile. Now i cant turn on itunes match on my itunes under my user account. Contacted Apple today who said to use the Express Lane and email the problem and they might be able to make an 'exception' on the account. Otherwise I'll have to wait 88 days to access a lot of my music on the macbook pro. itunes match is still working on the iphone 4S and ipad2.
Can anyone help? The only thought was too re-stream the laptop. Ive already tried deauthorising the other user but it made no difference.

HT201272 Trying to download lost purchases and it is not working...

I am trying to download my previous music purchases from iTunes. Some of my music was backed up on an old drive and a lot of the newer purchases were lost. It says that those files were "downloaded" and I am unable to re-download them. Is there some other way I am able to redownload the purchases that were lost? Thanks!

If you have the files or partial files somewhere on your device the iTunes store will tell you that they have already been downloaded. You can try to delete them from your library by holding Option and delete keys. Then if the store does not detect them, I think you can fool it into downloading them again. They say that your purchases are always available even if you delete them.

Open iTunes 10.6 or later on your computer. (You can download the latest version of iTunes here.)
If you're not already signed in, click Sign In, and enter your Apple ID and password.

From your Purchased page, click the tab for the content type you're looking for (Music, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, or Books).
Click Songs or Albums to change the page view and All or "Not in My Library" to view your purchased content that currently is not downloaded on your computer.

I pre-ordered You Me At Six's new album, and it was released on the 27th January, but it just says 'purchsed' and won't let me download it. I read another persons similar question but they had to click a link in an email they received saying the album was realsed, but I never got that email. Do you know how I would resend that email to myself?

A rental can only reside on one device at a time.. The message is saying that it is not avaialbe for your iPod.
Please tell us on which computer you doenloaded it and what happened since you downloaded it.

I am trying to download purchases made from my Iphone4 and it says "I do not have privledges to access the network. Please check your network connection and try again." I have checked my account info and it is good. I have made sure my pc is authorized and it is. Any ideas? I am on a gateway with windows 7 with all updates. Running Itunes 10.6.3.

I also have a new iPad and am having the same problem. I have tried all the apple troubleshooting tips and changing the DNS server, as well as setting up a new Apple ID. I already had an ID and it has worked for a year with my iPod. It works on the iPad with apps but not with Facetime or iMessage. No ALBUM from Pre-order of RHCP

I pre-ordered The new Chili Peppers CD, I have recieved my ticket code and all but iTunes has not downloaded the CD yet. What is the deal? I tried checking for purchased music and nothing came up.

Two things. First, got an e-mail from Apple. Here's what they say:
Thank you for pre-ordering Stadium Arcadium. Customer interest in this album far outweighed our projections. We know you are anxious to receive this new album and we're working to get it to you as quickly as possible.
Your album should be available to download in the next 4-8 hours. When your pre-order is available, iTunes will automatically send an email to your registered email address. Make sure your email address is up-to-date in your Account Information screen. To launch iTunes and open the Account Information screen, click the link below.

It's been about 6 hours, and still the same error, so no luck so far.
Second, I actually want to get the album pre-order with the pre-order exclusives. Honestly, I couldn't care less about the code since they are not coming near my home and I don't want to shell out for bad tickets since all the good ones were taken by the fan club. To me, the fact that I cannot get the album that is clearly on sale is more irritating than not being given the code.

I received the e-mail this morning, indicating that my pre-order for Ryan Adams' new album, Easy Tiger, was available for purchase. This is the first time I have ever pre-ordered through iTunes, and I did so for the bonus materials, including a pre-sale tix code for his fall tour.
I can't download the album. When I select check for purchases, it prompts me for my password, then says "All purchases have been downloaded for this account." But, I know this isn't true because I never downloaded the album and I did check my library... the album isn't there. I know my order went through--one, because I got the e-mail and two, because I have the single that I downloaded when I placed my pre-order.
Please help! I'm using the very latest version of iTunes, with Windows XP. I do have McAfee installed on my computer (Dell). Any advice would be wonderful... I'm anxious to hear this album!!!!!

I am having the exact same issue with Easy Tiger. I did get a timely email response from support stating that this issue is currently being worked on. I am waiting on a follow up email.
I have pre-ordered many items on iTunes previously. This is the first problem I have experienced. I expect this is an isolated quirk that will be resolved. I would still pre-order in the future.

I am a musician who is trying to create a pre-order for my releases on iTunes.
The only companies I know of that have this 'pre-release" service is either Ditto Music, or Bandcamp, which doesn't support iTunes distribution.
I am simply trying to create an iTunes pre-order for my album, that is already completed, and ready to upload.

Songs from albums I pre-ordered aren't contained in the full album, Why?

I've pre-ordered or pre-purchased music singles for albums that later were released. When the pre-order was available or I purchased the entire album the singles that I had initially purchased are not included in the album and I can't get them to appear in the album.
I called support and they had me delete the album and then re-download it but same issue, it wouldn't download the pre-ordered songs. Now it even shows them as Purchased but provides no options to download them.
Very frustrated and they weren't much help. Maybe someone here can...

The example below shows the Lorde album that I purchased. It is missing songs #1 and #3 which are contained in the singles of other albums.

I have the exact same problem. I guess iTunes wants us to edit the pre-album singles info to make them appear in the albums but it's stupid. Some singles are even re-edited or re-mixed for the album versions, they're not even the same songs.
