If you iPhone has become unresponsive while attempting to erase all content and settings, I would like to suggest that you follow the steps in the article below to regain the functionality of the iPhone:

How long does it take to get iOS 8 on the iphone 5s?
It has been 45 minutes and it is still on the white screen with the apple logo.  It has flashed blue and then black twice.  It is connected to my computer

Servers are swamped. Download times are varying but not less than 12 hours to finish. Quit the download if you can and wait until tomorrow or the next day.

  • How long does it take to download ios 7 over-the-air for iphone 5?

How long does it take to download ios 7 over-the-air for iphone 5?

It totally depends. The servers are getting slammed. Bunch of people trying to download at the same time.
Anecdotally, it took me about 20 minutes.
Give it time, keep trying, should eventually work.
Ways you can maybe speed it up - use iTunes, get off wifi and do a hard connection via ethernet.

I downloaded ios7, and it started installing it via wi-fi 3 hours ago.
Unfortunatelly it seems stuck halfway through.
Should I assume it's stuck or is it normall?
    Many thanks!

mine took a long time lost patience and rebooted it and then I started from the begining
so guess I made it take even longer and I did it over usb

How long does it take to install IOS 7?

    1. It depends on your internet speed.
    2. It depends on whether you are updating OTA or with iTune.

  • How long does it take to download iOS 5 on average?

My Pc wont let me  see how long it will tell me how long i have left and its been on for 2 hours?

There is no such thing as average. It is completely dependent on the speed of your Internet connection. (there are some other factors, but that's the biggest determining factor there is).

  • How long does it take for the IOS 7.1 to finish updating? My phone has been plugged in to my computer for more than one hour and the status bar only shows about less than 1/4 completed. I have an iphone 5s btw.

Depends on how strong your wifi connection is.
you can try a reset hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release.

  • How long does it take to install iOS 8.1.3?

I'm still at 8.1.0 on my iPhone 6 so I figure it'll take longer than if I was already at 8.1.2.

Are you updating over the air on the device, or using iTunes on your computer? The over the air update is about 130 MB, so even on a slow connection it shouldn't be more than a few minutes. The iTunes update is 2 GB, so a high speed connection is essential. In addition, any antivirus that has real time file scanning enabled will slow it to a crawl, no matter how fast your Internet connection is. So disable your antivirus entirely, or at least turn off real time scanning before trying to update.

  • How long does it take to download iOS 6 to iPhone 4S over the air ?

I've been waiting for over 2 hours now and it says 1 min left then 1 min after it says 2 hours left

How are you downloading, wireless or wired via iTunes?  The two are very different file sizes.  Wired is more than 1 GB and wireless is something like 100 MB.  Mine took less than 10 min start to finish on wireless with a high speed Verizon FiOS line.
If it has started, ride it out.

  • HT201328 how long does it takes for apple ios diagnostic process

I ask for Apple support, got an email to tab the " IOS diagnostic" button, but seems no response/nothing happen

perhaps is it because my Iphone sim card is not supported (?)
That's possible. In that case you'll have to speak to Apple Support using either another phone or a computer via chat.

  • Installing Windows 2003 Server Standard/XP is very slow- how long does it take?

Hello, I'm looking for some ideas here...  I tried installing Windows 2003 on my newly build computer, but after 3 hours it still wasn't installed, and seemed to just be really really slow, and not frozen.  I ended up giving up and tried putting windows xp on it, but after an hour it still didn't finish installing.  I figure there really has to be something wrong here...  The only thing out of the ordinary is that I'm using 4GB ram DDR2 667.  How long does it take to install windows xp on your system?!?
Things that I've tried have been:
    disabled hypterthreading
    loaded optimized settings
    changed sata to mode II
    MSI 945G Neo-F Socket T (LGA 775) Intel 945G ATX Intel Motherboard
    Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3160812AS 160GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
    Intel Pentium 4 650 Prescott 800MHz FSB LGA 775 EM64T
    pqi TURBO $GB (4 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5400) Unbuffered Dual
    POwer: Ultra Xfinity 500Watt ATX +5v +3.3v +12v1 +12v2 -12v +5vsb
    BIOS 1.2
    Optial Drive: Generic Toshiba DVD

1&3 and 2&4 seem to be working okay,  I've tested all these combinations (this is just plugging in the memory and looking at the cpu in task manager)
mem1 in slot 1 okay (tested slot 1 okay)
    mem1 in slot 1
mem2 in slot 3 okay (test 2gigs in duel channel first set of memory okay)
    mem3 in slot 1
mem4 in slot 3 okay (tested 2 gig in duel channel second set of memory)
mem1 in slot 2 okay (tested slot 2 okay)
    mem1 in slot 2
mem2 in slot 4 okay (tested the second duel channel okay)
    mem1 in slot 1
    mem2 in slot 3
    mem3 in slot 2
mem4 in slot 4 high cpu
    mem3 in slot 1
    mem1 in slot 2
    mem4 in slot 3
mem2 in slot 4 high cpu
I upgraded to the latest bios, no luck...  I haven't run any extensive memory tests, but through the tests i did, it seems that the memory is okay.  Given these tests do you think it is more likely a problem with the motherboard running 4 slots?  Or maybe some power issue, where the  4 sticks of memory are not getting enough power to work right.
The power supply I am using is Xfinity 500W
    +5V/30A +3.3/30A +12V1/16A +12V2/18A -12V/0.6A +5VSB/2.5A
    Thanks for your feedback..

  • How long does it take the 'Do Not Disconnect' screen to disappear?

How long does it take the 'Do Not Disconnect' screen to disappear?
I Just got my ipod nano a week ago. I put maybe 10 songs on there and then today, since I had some time, decided to start creating my library. By the time I decided to stop and plug in my nano so it can update, i had like 219 songs that had to be transferred. I watched each song on iTunes go to the ipod like usual and then my list that comes up when you select "__ ipod" is all grayed out like it's still updating. On the top of the iTunes screen, it says ipod update is complete though, and of course, my ipod has been saying do not disconnect for the past hour and a half with the battery fully charged. Does it really take that long for it to finish synching my songs? I mean I know I had a lot of songs to put on there put geez!

    Hi CocoaVixen718
    Welcome to Apple Discussions
Try ejecting your iPod from iTunes. You might want to look at Knowledge Base Document #61685 about The "Do Not Disconnect" Message and Knowledge Base Document #93492 explains How to Safely Disconnect the iPod.

  • How long does it take for the certificate arrive? I am OCA? I need it urgen

    Hello Experts,
I have recently finished OCA. How long does it take for the certificate to arrive?
    I need it urgently.
Can I pay and expedite the process of Mailing thru fedex.
    Thanks,
    Vishal

    From the Oracle Certification FAQ
"The testing center will send your exam results to the Oracle Certification Program. All results are processed once a week. Once all the certification requirements within the track you are pursuing have been complete, including completion and approval of the Course Submission Form, you should receive your certification success kit within 6-8 weeks. The Success Kit will include a personalized certificate as well as instructions on how to obtain your Oracle Certification logo."
So if you just recently passed the exam, expect that you'll get your physical certificate in 6-8 weeks. It should show up in CertView relatively quickly, but fulfillment takes time.
