First, try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.

One of my ex-colleagues has installed a NI-DAQ 6.5 in our system. [And I do not see any other naitional instruments card in the CPU of the computer, may be he removed it] I deleted the account and all his files in the system. When I am trying to install version8.0, its not getting installed and giving me a message that I should uninstall the previous version by going to Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
I tried doing that, but the "Change/Remove" button does not seem to work...[There is no response and so unable to install the new version...]
Any idea how can this problem be solved?
It is a windowsXP operating system with SP2 installed on a machine with P4 processor.

My FaceTime in my new itouch4 is not recognizing or is not connecting to wi-fi when I try to log inn but all the others applications in the same device are connected. I tried the same account in different device, ipad2 and it connects without problem. What could be wrong?
Does the iOS device connect to other networks successfully?
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

After I got a 27" screen, I had problems with the interface text being too small as well. That can be fixed with Mozilla applications if you set up a userChrome.css file in the profile inside a subdirectory called chrome. The code I used:

First and foremost, just say no to Beiber
First, close all open apps on your computer and restart your computer. Open only iTunes when it restarts.
Then, I would reset your iPod, probably not needed but I would do it any way. Hold the sleep/wake button and the volume down button until the Apple logo appears. Wait for it to completely start up to where it is ready to use.
Now try and restore. If the iPod was synced with your own computer to put the music on, you can use it to remove it. Usually that is preferred instead of restoring. -

All layers are uneditable. Please help.
I was working on a design with many layers and somehow they all became uneditable.
I say 'uneditable' because they're not locked. When I click on the layer the background of layer tile is grey (as opposed to blue)
When I try to click on the canvas the anchor point are all on the perimeter on the background image. If, I delete the background and attempt to click another element, I get a message that says the target layer is 'hidden'.
I would be eternally greatful for some help here, I have been working on this file for many hours.Layer comps? Layer Folders? Odd combinations of layer styles and the layer belnding options like conditional blending? I could think of a couple of things but it's impossible to know without seeing more details.

Hi again,
Make sure that you have a Wi-fi / 3G connection and these are turned on.
Try resetting your Wi-Fi router by turning it off and then on again.
Check and verify that Restrictions on your iPad is turned off (Settings > General > Restrictions).
Tap Settings > Store on your device and sign out, then sign in again.
Tap Settings > Store > Apple ID > view Apple ID and turn off Genius for Apps.
Turn off and on (restart) your iPad.

Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

iPhone do not do automatic update. You have to manually trigger the updates.
If your Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Automatic Downloads > Music, Apps, Books are ON then when you purchase any new content/item with any devices/computer iTunes, it will automatically download. Switch it OFF if you do not want that to happen. -
When I want to randomly play (shuffle) all my songs, it seems that the same songs are being played. I've got over 13,000 songs loaded - it seems to me that I shouldn't be getting any repeats. I unrated all the songs, thinking this might affect how often a song gets picked to play. Any suggestions? Thanks!
