Delete them the same way you put them there. The sync process. Deselectg the album in itunes and sync.
Photo Album contains ALL synced photos and you can also view those exact same photos, not duplicates, from the albums.

I Can not delete appointment made in Outllook and sync in my Iphone (using Exchange Sync).
I can only delete this appointment in my Outlook and then they will be deleted in my Iphone.
Strange situation?
I should be able to create, postpone, delete ....any appointment made from the iphone or from Outlook?
Why can I ?
What is the purpose then to have it sync?
if you can only dothe change on one side and then sync to have it mirored in Iphone
Any clue?
Other question: in my Outlook I have several calendar. When I choose to sync calendars in my iphone, color are picked random. Why can't I choose the color i want in my iphone (why if i want the personal calendar to be green instead of orange? )

OK regarding the color of the calendar.
A little trick.
I create as much calendar in Outlook, and then sync with the Iphone (trough Exchange)until the color I wanted show up.
example I wanted the Personal calendar to be GREEN
After test1 + test2 + test3 ........on test5 calendar the color was green.
I then deleted the other calendar not needed.
And the test5 colored green was still in place.
I then rename this calendar to Personal.
And voila

Photo.app crashes. Can not delete or sync photos. Stuck!

On my iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.1:
Photo.app crashes whenever i try to delete certain photos from my camera roll. It freezes and I have to exit the app with the front botton. I have the crash logs on my computer.
The iPhone appears in iTunes, however photos do not sync.
The iPhone does NOT appear in Image Capture, iPhoto, or other photo importing programs.
Now I am really stuck - ! I have no way to delete the (presumably corrupted) photos from my iPhone!
If I "Erase all content and settings" from the iPhone, it once again appears (empty) in Image Capture. However, if I then restore the iPhone from a backup, the photo roll is restored and it has the same problem. If I do not restore the iPhone, I lose all my apps, contact info, etc.
I am an Apple developer (MacOS, iOS) so I have expert skills tackling problems like this, but now I'm stumped!

I had the same problem and spent 4 hours troubleshooting with Apple Tech Support. We uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, drivers and checked every setting that had anything to do with my iPhone. As usual I was told that I need to restore my phone which is always my last option. I actually read your post and began to panic as it became clear that even after a reset I would get the same photos back when I synched and restored. Last time that I restored to new it took me 3 solid hours to tweak my phone back to the way it was. When I realized that I was basically screwed and was going to lose my photos I began to email them to myself one at a time. When I got to one picture I discovered that I had found the corrupt photo. I was not able to send it as it turned into a question mark when I tried to send to myself. I tried to delete 50 times but it froze my phone each time and wouldnt remove itself from my camera roll. I tried to select photos but each time that photo appeared in the window the app crashed and shut itself down. I had scheduled an appointment with the genious bar and figured I would call tech suoport one last time before I went through that nightmare and while I was on hold I pluged my phone into my computere and tried to delete the phote while plugged into my laptop and out of nowhere an error window popped up notifying me that my photo app experienced an error and would repair itself which within four seconds it did and the corrupt photo dissapeared. I cant tell you how relieived I was and my phone works perfectly well now. I tried to explain the results to the tech that finally answered but he didn't seem to care that much. I hope this works for you next time.

Those are photos that were synced to your phone from your computer using iTunes, and they can only be removed by syncing them off. Connect your phone to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of your phone in iTunes, go to the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and uncheck the photos you want to remove, then click Apply at the bottom to sync your phone. If you want to remove them all, uncheck Sync Photos. If you only want to remove some of them, remove them from the folder that you are syncing your photos from.

There may be an add-on installed for the toolbar. Go to Tools>Add-ons (or about:addons), select Extensions tab and remove the toolbar from there (if it's there)

Photos on camera roll are not stored in iTunes, they are imported to the local hard drive, folder depends on if you have MAC or PC.
If you enable delete on transfer the photos will erase once they are copied to the computer.

you can't delete photos that were synced to an IOS devic- apple imposed limitation, you can not delete photos from photostream - thanks again apple, maybe by IOS 6 we will be able to manage our own photos & videos!
the work around i found if you want to transfer a photo or two at a time (emailing to yourself) is to batch upload photos using an app called "droptoroll" works great and is free, but no video support. puts the photos into the camera roll folder so you may delete them as you want! sorry no help for photostream management - hear in the future apple will allow deletion of individual photos from the stream. Again another oversite by apple photostream does not support videos, mobile me did though

Mike whether I create a folder within the Pictures Folder that iTunes uses to sync photographs or just copy them into the main folder the result is the same, I end up with Photo Library plus another album containing an identical set of pictures as contained in Photo Library.

Yes I can Add a new Album, but cannot delete an album already created. The delete sign does not appear.
In iTunes the only folder that I can see listed is the man one into which iTunes stores pictures, which I have named iPhone Photos.
When I look on my PC this iPhone Photos folder contains another folder named iPod Photo Cache and a multitude of folders created by iTunes, the named F00, F01,F02 etc etc. and a Photo Database file.

Launch PSE Expert Mode and go to:
Photoshop Elements Editor >> Preferences >> Saving Files (tab)
Set the drop-down dialog
On First Save : Save Over Current File
Click OK.
When you have finished editing in PSE use Cmd+S to save (not Save As)
