HT201302 I have a 4S Iphone and wish to transfer my photoes to my Windows 7 PC, but It wont work. I go to "computer" click on "import pictures and videos" but a window opens stating " No pictures or videos were found on this device". Need your help please
Just to add that my iphone is connected to my PC, the "Autoplay" box is seen, but again when I click on "import pictures and videos, using Windows" a window opens saying "No pictures or videos were found on this device".
Thank you Peter, I had already tried this link before asking for help. I followed the steps, and when I clicked on " import pictures and videos " , a window poped up saying " No pictures or videos were found on this device". Any helps !

It sounds like you are using an application to import. You can do it manually.
Start > Computer (on the right) > scroll to the bottom and you will see your iPhone under Portable Devices > Open it and you will see a Drive, open that and there will be a DCIM folder. That is where your photos will be (There may be other folders each holding photos). -
I have hundreds of photos that I have taken using the Camera and Camera + apps on my iphone 4S, and am now trying to copy those photos on to my Thinkpad PC (Windows 7). But I get a messge "No photos or videos were found on this device". Not sure what I am need to do to copy the photos. Appreciate any help.

In the article Resolve iOS update and restore errors this is what it says about error 14:
Check your USB connections
Related errors: 13, 14, 1600, 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604, 1611, 1643-1650, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, 4005, 4013, 4014, or “invalid response."
If the USB connection between your device and computer is interrupted, you may be unable to update or restore.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use the USB cable that came with your device, or a different Apple USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port directly on your computer. Don't plug it into your keyboard.
Try a different computer.
If necessary, resolve any further issues with the USB connection, then with your security software.
If you're still seeing the error message, check for hardware issues by following the next section. -
hi i have done the settings that mentioned in apple support threads but it wont work for me i am using BSNL cellone SIM and activated 3G too but unfortunately internet is not connecting but my facebook is updated and also showing the data statistics
They are not a supported carrier. You'll have to take it up with them.

OrangeThis is no different with any carrier locked phone. Getting a carrier locked phone officially unlocked is the responsibility of the carrier, not the cell phone manufacturer. A cell phone manufacture cannot unlock a carrier locked phone without the carrier's authorization.
An iPhone sold as officially unlocked when new can be used by others as a second hand phone, and the same with any carrier locked iPhone that can be unlocked by the carrier, and many carriers offer it. -

I tried to update to IPad 5.1, but when it finished and tried to restore the backup, it shows me that Itunes could not back up because a session could not be started with iPad. need your help please
This has happened to me a couple of times and what I do is quit iTunes and restart my Mac and then try again and then it will work.
If iTunes has already created the backup, you should still be able to restore from the backup when you are connected to iTunes. Right click on the iPad name on the left side of iTunes and select restore from backup. After the process completes, sync with iTunes to transfer all of your apps, music, photos and other media back onto the iPad. -
I messed up and I need your help please (menu bar)
OK I messed up. I installed one of these utilities to see it I would like the opaque menu bar better than the transparent since so many are fussy about the transparency. Well I find I liked the transparent bar. Now I do not know how to restore it. I thought the utility "opaque menu bar" would have a way to uninstall but it does not and the developer is not replying so any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Mireille1. Start up Terminal by using Spotlight or starting it from Applications -> Utilities
2. Type: killall OpaqueMenuBar (case sensitive spelling)
Nothing should come up as a result. If it says "no processes belong to you were found" check the spelling or skip to the next step
3. Go to your applications folder (commandshiftA in Finder) and drag the OpaqueMenuBar app to the trash
4. Go into the System Preferences -> Desktop, change the wallpaper to something else and then back again.
Uninstallation should be complete. -

My iPad2 is frozen at slide to unlock screen, every few minutes the apple appears in the middle of the screen and couple of minutes later it will go back on freeze to the slide to unlock screen . I have tried all tricks even the restoration through iTunes which I was never able to complete because of the apple screen; iTunes thinks I am resetting my iPad and the restoration get aborted.

1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times. -

The governments in some middle eastern countries have banned Facetime and it is disabled on iphones purchased in those countries. The countries include KAS, UAE and others. There is no way to get Facetime on such phones (for example it cannot be downloaded and installed) and taking the phone to another country does not cause Facetime to reappear on such phones. Start over. It'll take anywhere between a few days and a few months depending on your CD collection
Go to a CD ripping agency. It'll take a day or two, and they charge about a buck or two a CD.
Go to a data recovery agency. They charge a few hundred dollars an hour. -

Hi, I had the same problem. I finally figured it out. Plug in the USB cord to your ipad, but beofre plugging it into your computer make sure your ipad is not in the locked or sleep mode. Once I did this, my photos showed up and started downloading. Hope that helps you!
