I am trying to transfer videos that I've recorded with my ipod camera to my computer. The option to auto play does not pop up when I plug in my ipod, so I looked up how to do this manually. Apple support websites told me to go to Control Panel and then Hardware and Sound, but Hardware and Sound is not listed in my control panel options. What other options do I have? I own a Dell laptop and I have Windows 7.
Does the iPod show in My Computer? If so then go to My Computer>iPod>DCMI Folder and copy them from there to where you want them

I appear to have lost my itunes icon and program is not listed in control panel
I appear to have lost my ITunes icon and the program is not listed in the Control Panel under Programs. Nobody in the house has uninstalled it but it appears an update may have come through today which was loaded and now we cant find anything.
If it is not listed in programs&features it looks as though it has been uninstalled.
Try looking for the iTunes application in
C:\Program Files\iTunes for 32 bit windows
C:\Program Files (x86) for 64 bit applications.
Is it there?
If it isn't try downloading iTunes and installing iTunes

To burn a DVD with iDVD from the latest version of iMovie, you have to export the movie using the Export button and select 480p as the size. Open iDVD and start a new project, then drag that exported movie file into the iDVD menu window, avoiding any drop zones you see. -

The rest of my music is still on my iPad, so how do I get it from my iPad to the computer, and back on my phone? All my music is sitting there safely on my iPad, but whenever I try to sync it with my computer the only option I get is to wipe the iPad and replace it with the files on the computer---which is only a fraction of what I had originally. How do I fix this?? It even deleted my playlists, and I now only have some 200 songs left out of what used to be over 1000!

You explicitly said 'Yes'.
You can't undo that.
No backup of the current state of the new phone was made. It was wiped and the last backup of your old phone was restored to it.
Anything you had on the new phone is gone. -

You import them into your iTunes Move library and then sync them to your iPod

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive (works the same with an SD card) into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

How do I transfer videos from an Ipod Touch 4g to a Windows 7 PC?
I can't access them through "Computer" and then Ipod device (I can access pictures that way).
I don't see how in Itunes.
I HOPE I don't have to BUY a piece of software to do this.
I thought perhaps there was some way to do it using the bluetooth in the Ipod and in my computer. Doesn't appear to be. I can do it with my cell, though.
