HT201302 When I connect my iphone to my computer, the camera wizard says that there aren't any pictures on my device. How can I then transfer the pictures on my phone to the computer?
This happens on PCs running XP and 7.
I had this problem too, and this answer to a similar question on the forum about an ipod or ipad fixed it for me:
"You have to unlock your iPad before you can transfer photos off it otherwise anyone could connect your iPad to a computer and see all the photos you have taken on it."

Just updated to IOS 7 and two issues:

So... I don't want to do that, but I do what to be able to Manage my music. I'm not sure what it means by being synced to another iTunes unless it means to an older version of itunes?
Anyone have any ideas?I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. When I connect my iPhone to my computer, it says that I need the latest download for my iTunes to be able to sync. I already have the iOS7 and the 11.1.3 update. Whats the deal?
I have the same thing with my ipad "Bill's Ipad cannot be used because it requires itunes version 11.1 or later"

When I connect my iphone and open itunes the iphone icon shows up but when I click it nothing happens and the icon disappears. I have uninstalled and re-installed itunes. Turned my computer off, and turned my iphone off. Restarted everything. Synced my iphone and my itunes and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? I am using Windows

You can only transfer photos from the Camera Roll. Photos in other albums had to come from your computer to begin with and should still be there.

I have a Lexmark printer which is a little old. So when i connect my iphone to it via the USB cable my printer doesn't recognise it. If i bought a bluetooth adaptor for the printer would i be able to print photos via bluetooth?
The only way to print from an iPad is to have a printer that supports AirPrint. Here's a link to an Apple support page on AirPrint.

AirPrint is way to print wirelessly via Wi-Fi but it requires that the printer supports AirPrint. The iPad cannot use Bluetooth to print and it will not print when connected via USB. -
iTunes updates podcasts each hour but won't refresh. When I sync my iPhone, it gets yesterdays podcasts and I have to manually hit refresh to make it update. How can I make it automatically refresh?
I think figured out what is going on here... If you have set your Windows OS time manually, Apple iTunes will not honor the time you set in Windows XP...
In my case, I had not applied the Windows update that changes the Daylight savings rules. No big deal I thought... I can easily correct the time manually. Well... iTunes will not like it if you do that. You have to have your daylight savings rules set correctly on the PC. Microsoft has a free program called TZEdit that will let you adjust the DST boundaries.
Once I set the rules correctly and then set my time keeping back to "Automatic" it fixed it. Hope this helps... -

HT201302 when i plug my iphone into my computer only half of my pictures load
plugging my Iphone 4 into my computer and opening the pictures, i have 4 files that come up in the DCIM folder (823WGTMA, 860OKMZO, 948CZZEA, 965YOKDJ) checking all 4 one has 1 videom one has about 15 files, one has around 300 and another has about 500. But i have over 1000 pictures on my phone.. can anyone help?
I've seen this happen when the phone was encrypted... Other than calling apple/deleting passcodes I don't know of any solution.
If you're keen on waiting, upload your photos to dropbox, that's the way I do it. -

If that won't work, perhaps you can use Find my iPhone from a computer in your iCloud.com account to erase the device.

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone.
