However, if any 'puter whiz out there can suggest how I can get that info,I'd really appreciate it!
I run a MacMini, 2.5 GHz IntelCore i5, OSX 10.7.4.
The exact AppleSystem Msg is: "Your account has been accessed from a new computer or device and you must verify...."

You can use any computer but your data will be lost if you have no backup.

If it's the same email address Apple registration on both, use the 2nd computer and go to the App Store and find Lion. If different, use the second computer but log in to the App store with the address you used on the first go round. The buy button should instead say install. Then go through the same process again.

The following information should help you with this:
How to report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBookstore purchase
Find the email receipt for your purchase.
Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.
When prompted, enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having an issue with.
From the Choose Problem dropdown menu, choose the appropriate issue.
Follow the onscreen instructions and—if prompted—type a description of the problem into the text field.
Click Submit to have your issue reviewed.

Reinstalling Mavericks depends on several factors:
if you erased your recovery partition
what OS originally came on your Mac.
I'll assume you don't have a backup available that you made before your mishap, because you didn't mention it.
That's really the take home message here: have a backup!
If you still have your recovery partition:
boot into the recovery partition (command R at restart)
use the recovery partition to reinstall Mavericks. see: OS X: About OS X Recovery
if you do not still have your recovery partition, then it depends on whether your Mac originally came with installer disks or not.
If it originally came with installer disks, you would boot from the installer disks, erase your HD, and then reinstall the OS that is on the installer disks, and then upgrade as necessary until you get to Mavericks.
If your mac did not originally come with installer disks, but you managed to erase your recovery partition, then you can try to boot into internet recovery (option-command-R at restart), and use internet recovery to erase your HD and reinstall the OS that originally came with your computer, and then upgrade to Mavericks if you need to. (the reference refers to ML but it applies just as well to Mavericks).

Baiscally the problem is that one comuter and one account has always been sued for eey persons itunes. Now if we want to be able to backup and use itunes on our own computers fro our iphones and such, how will all he data that is on our phones not be deleted once its plugged into a new computer? Also, is theere a way to get all the stuff on thw current itunes onto each computer, via differtn account name?

option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large. Welcome to the Apple Community.
You'll need to de-authorise them all from your account settings.
Note: get into the habit of de-authorising from the computer when you have no further use for authorisation, you can only de-authorise all your computers once every so often.

Films, Documentaries, and other productions that has used Motion

Hi there people! It is my first topic here, although I am a Motion user for some months now.
Today I was seeing some videos about the Final Cut Studio, and then it suddenly comes in my mind...
How many productions do you, guys, know, that has used Motion during the whole process?
Particularly, I wouldn't be able to say even one!!
If any one knows, just tell us, so we can analyze the production!!

We all know, that the top used software to graphics is Adobe After Effcts, and some times I look to something that was made inside After Effects, and think *Hey, I think Motion can do it!*

How can you install FCS 3 on a computer that already has FCPX?

Ok so, I wiped my computer to install Lion, and then installed FCP X. I now want to install Final Cut Studio 3, but it won't let me install Final Cut, Motion, or Compressor (the other apps install fine). Presumably this is because I have downloaded the new versions of those respective apps from the app store.
I know you can install FCP X on a computer with FCS3 on it (and still be able to use both versions of FCP) but can you do the opposite? If so I haven't found out how (short of installing on a different disk/partition of course). I tried moving FCPX out of the applications folder (in hopes that it was as simple as the installer checks the apps folder first for another copy of Final Cut) but that simply moved an alias and as far as I can tell, FCPX cannot be moved out of the applications folder.
Anyone have any ideas or experienced something similar?

Hey Brad thanks, but the link you provided is the opposite of what I need. That link is for if you want to install FCPX on a system with FCS 3 already on it. I have FCP X already installed and need to install FCS 3 on the same drive.
I cannot move the FCPX, Motion 5, or Compressor 4 applications to a new folder, because when I do it only moves an alias over for some reason (not the actual application).
@Ronnie yes I know I can install another copy of OSX on another drive/partition and install FCS 3 on that, but I am trying to not have to do that. Clearly FCPX and FCS 3 can exist on the same partition if you install FCS 3 first, so why can't I do it if I already have FCPX installed? Seems silly. I also do not want to have to reboot each time I want to go into FCS3, not to mention all of the disk space I would lose by installing the OS on one of my other internal drive (which currently are all filled with Media drives, so I would have to repartition a sizable chunk of one of them just for FC Studio).

I want to add another account to my already existing account so that my dad can have his own music on the same computer with mine. can i do that? or should i just move all of my stuff to an another computer and just let him have the old one? i know this prolly sounds confusing but someone please tell me if i can do this!

Creating a separate Windows User account for each person on your PC will give you completely separate libraries. Each account has it's own iTunes folder, Library and iTunes Music folder and you load it with CDs etc just as you did with your original one.

That works... at least for me but not all users have access to stable high speed Internet... look at all of the aborted, partial or corrupted downloads we see on this forum alone.
The point is, Apple calls the shots and makes it easy on themselves with no alternate option. Not only that, they get free technical support from their users... that actually rely on this forum, clients I know have called Apple in regards to a technical problem and rather than upgrade the query they're sent here. They do know how to keep the ball in their court.
The other point is.. the low price is Apple's carrot on a stick, if someone complains about the download size and time involved, Apple counters.. "that's how were able to keep the price low" which tells me exactly who they're marketing to now.. and it's not professional users because pros wouldn't mind paying a little extra to have options.
