I would like to completely remove the payment information from my iPad as I am giving this one to a relative and getting the newest iPad 3. However, I don't want to reset it because my relative loves a lot of the apps installed.

If you owe any money, you cannot simply remove your CC details.
You need to add a valid credit card.

You have to owe it because there was a purchase. That's how sales work.
Whether you actually owe it, depends on if you made the purchase or not.

I have a laptop that both my son and I use which has iTunes on but has 2 accounts ie my son's and mine. When I set up my iPad 3 I transferred my apps across from my iPhone via the iTunes laptop but I appear to have also transferred across my son's apps from his iPhone on to my iPad. How to completely remove a preloader from a published captivate

I recently published my captivate files with a preloader (using one of the pre-installed ones 'Adobe Captivate 5.5\en_GB\Gallery\Preloaders\blue loading.gif').
I now need to remove the preloader completely or go back to the default 'adobe captivate loading' one.
However, when I untick the preload option in publish settings, it still publishes with the preloader.
Please help/advise

Hi ,I recently have bought an Ipad air,and want to remove some old app icons that have come through from an i pod touch I have?
Lots of discussion for removing apps once downloaded,but none say how to remove icons on apps page that are redundant.

You left out a very important fact in your first post...you are seeing this in the App Store, correct? I was assuming you were just at your iPad's home screen and trying to delete the Apps.
The list you see in the App Store in regards to updates that you've downloaded is a list that cannot be modified nor changed. It's simply meant as an informative list of any updates you've downloaded and when the update was installed. The list will start dropping these updates off after a couple of weeks or so.

this will put your iPad back the way it was when you took it out of the box. You cannot erase the built in apps - the ones that came on it. You can only erase apps and content you put on it after you bought it.

Have you created the account? If yes, the following procedures cant be applied. You have to open a new account for this to work!
In your PC:
1.Open iTunes and navigate to App Store!
2. Sign-out of Apple ID.
3. Upon seeing a free app, you'll notice that a button named FREE is displayed beneath so when you click it, it downloads automatically.
4. Click it, now a dialog box opens up asking you to provice your Apple login details, in that box you'll notice the option named CREATE AN ACCOUNT, click it and create a new ID.
5. On the payment page, there will be an optin named NONE, select it and complete the registration.
Its done.
