Welcome to discussions.
I guess "So I want to go wireless with my broadband and iTunes" means that you want to play your iTunes music library onto the stereo system, possibly in another room. Airport Express does this for you.
But we can't help you with any other decisions on kit without just a little more info.
How many computers do you wish to have the ability to play iTunes over the speakers ?
Will all these computers have an Airport card installed (not essential) ?
How far is it from the computers to the proposed location of the Airport Express ?
Are you ADSL or Cable broadband ?
Do you have any other networking kit (including that supplied by the ISP) ? Or any PC's / XBox's / PSP's / etc that you wish to connect to the broadband ? by Ethernet ? Or wireless ?
So many questions and I can't promise that there won't be more. But we will get whatever you want working.

When you say it "can not scan any wifi network" do you mean it is not detecting Wi-Fi networks?
Is Wi-Fi turned on in Settings > General > Wi-Fi?
Have you tried Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings?
Is it just the home network that the device will not connect to? or any network? -
I had the geek squad from bestbuy supposedly install iphoto 11 on my mac but it is not there and when i try to download it it say the app has been download by another user on this machine. What do i need to do get get this app on my system? If they could not do it right the first time I do not have much faith in their advice.
Assuming you've done a system wide search for it including the Applications folder and it's not there......
I think you will need to address this with them - did you pay them for the application? Or was your purchase price to include it? And the question(s) to ask them:
If the app store states that it has been downloaded, ask them where it is and which Apple ID they used. (the store keeps track of Apple IDs and machine IDs on everything you download).
I have absolutely no faith in their advice; however, in this case, it's not so much technical advice, but an answer to your questions: you paid for something and it appears not to be there. -

It isn't a file, it's a folder. It will have the same name as your catalog, but will have the extension data. It will be in the same folder along with your catalog. If you need to use the search feature to search for *.lrdata.

I moved from the UK to the US with my iMac. What do I need to buy for the UK iMac to work in the US? A power convertor? A plug convertor? or Both? I had previously read that you only need a plug convertor (three prong to two prong). But I'm terrified that my iMac will blow up if I only use a plug convertor and not some sort of voltage convertor (Transformer).
I'm not really hardware tech savy - is it easy to pop out the UK power cable and plug in the US power cable? Or do I need to get someone like an iMac support guy to do this? And because of the voltage difference, is there something built into the iMac that takes care of the voltage difference for me? Thanks!!

What do I need to do to the iPad to enable File Sharing?
I have a new iPad mini with retina display. I cannot make Sharing Files in iTunes work. All the apps that can share do show up in the File Sharing list, on the left. But if I click any one of them, nothing shows in the column on the right.
I can use File Sharing successfully with iTunes and my iPod Touch. What do I need to do to the iPad to enable File Sharing?

Without using wifi and the Cloud Pages, Keynote and Artstudio will not stay in sync. If you are not going to use wireless and the cloud you will have to constantly use "transfer purchases" each time to sync any changes on the mobile device back onto the computer, then sync the computer back to each mobile device.
This isn't a file sharing problem. You are using devices designed to share via wifi and the cloud, but NOT using those features.
This will force you to constantly copy back and forth each time you make changes.
**You might want to check in Settings > Pages > turn iCloud switch to OFF (not green) This may resolve moving back and forth with cables as the iPad will not expect to use iCloud. -

Also, what can be done about an app that doesn't work as promised?If you mean iPod/iPad apps then you need to have a replica of your iTunes Library on both machines. You can backup your iTunes library - Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive - then restore it on the other computer. Also, see iTunes- How to move your music to a new computer.

Depends on where you send or take the iPod in for service. If you would like to go the Apple route, they will exchange your iPod out for a refurbished one instead of actually repairing it. See here for pricing.

Third party service centers can do the actual repair job for a little less. A Google search for "iPod Touch screen repair" should give you a number of results to work with. There may even be repair services in your area.

I am running Windows 7 and have tried to install iCloud. No matter what instructions I follow, I still get the error message "This Apple ID is valed but is not an iCloud account." How can I resolved this?
I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. It means that your iPod Hardisk has crashed and cant be started, you need to have the Hardisk replaced at Apple Store or any 3rd Party iPod service, if it is out of warranty.

The easiest and fastest thing for you is to reset the printer to its defaults and then just install the printer again following the instructions in the manual when you received it. If you don't have these you will find this on the HP web site.

HDMI cable connected from TV to Mac, what do I click on to get the movie on my laptop screen to show on my TV screen?
When you first hook it up it will probably have the display set in Extended Desktop mode. The Menu Bar and Dock will be on the MacBook display and your background screen on the TV but you can move the cursor onto the TV screen.
In System Preferences>Display on the MacBook screen there should be an Arrangement tab when you have the MacBook hooked up to the TV and both screens working. When you click the Arrangement tab do you see two monitors side by side? One of them will have a Menu Bar at the top. Just click on the Menu Bar and drag it to the second monitor. That will make the second monitor your main screen.
The TV will now have the Dock and Menu Bar and windows will open on it. But you can move the cursor to the MacBook screen and move windows from the TV over to the MacBook screen.
You can now use your MacBook in Clamshell Mode with a wired or Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3131 When you disconnect from the TV your Menu Bar will automatically change back to the MacBook.
Or if you want to use the MacBook’s keyboard and trackpad to work on the MacBook screen while showing it on a TV you can check the Mirror Display box on the lower left hand side of the Arrangement tab under the two monitors box. That will give you the same screen at the same resolution on both the MacBook and the external monitor. -
