Please, I want to reset the security questions
Thanks

If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going tohttps://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address then go to Express Lane  and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Security' and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within, I think, about 24 to 48 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox).

You will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset you can then use steps 1 to 7 half-way down the HT5312 page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use

  • TS2446 i want to reset the security question

    HI,
i want to use my acount to buy items on other Iphones , but i don't remember the security question/.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account then the steps half-way down this page will give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

  • I want to reset the security questions, but the email it sends it to does not belong to me, and I only have one email registered.

I went to purchase a book and it asked me 2 security questions that I do not even remember setting up. I went to click "send reset email", but I did not recognize the email. The email was f********@yahoo.com, and I even checked to make sure that I had only one email, i*****@rocketmail.com. Where did this other email come from and how do I fix it?

Are you sure that you never set up a rescue email address on your account ? I'm not sure where you checked as that is the only place that the rescue email address appears on your account (apart from if you answer the 2 questions, in which case you can then edit/remove it).
If you don't recognise the email address then see if this user-tip helps for getting the questions reset : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551

  • I cant  reset the security questions

want to reset the security questions because i forgot them.
Also in instruction on apple's site says that go to manage apple id  then type username and password and then go password and security and click reset questions. THIS BUTTON DOES NOT EXIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOW I have a message that says :
We apologize, but we were unable to verify your account information with the answers you provided to our security questions.
You have made too many attempts to answer these questions. So, for security reasons, you will not be able to reset password for the next eight hours.
We can help you reset your security information by sending a message to your rescue email address
I click on the button SEND EMAIL  and i dont receive any mail!!!
I'm from Greece and i cant figure out this situtation because i dont know where i should call for support.

If you aren't getting the reset link then you don't have a rescue email address on your account, and you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions - you will have to contact Greece Support (that must also be the country on your account) to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then add a rescue email address for potential future use : Manage your Apple ID primary, rescue, alternate, and notification email addresses

I want to reset my security questions but I don't see the link to send a reset email .. What should I do ?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset them. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.

    Hello minhluhoc,
It sounds like you are unable to reset your security questions but do not have access to your rescue email address. According to the following article you will need to contact the iTunes Store support team:
Rescue email address and how to reset Apple ID security questions
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5312
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • HT201303 Reset the security questions on my iTunes account?

How do I reset the security questions on my iTunes account?

You can only reset if you know the answers to the original ones.
If you dont, normally you will need to contact iTunes store support but this workaround may help:
-On the device/computer that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
    - Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select "done", in the upper right corner
    - Sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you should be asked to verify your security code for the credit/debit card and NOT the security questions.
    - At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security questions.

Another user had success doing the following:
I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
      a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
      b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
"done", in the upper right corner
      c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
          security questions.
      d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
          questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.
    Good Luck friends!

I want to reset my security question answers.
I almost forget my answers, please help me

Click here for information. If you can't reset them through the method described in that article or by sending yourself a rescue email(the email may take a few hours to arrive), contact the iTunes Store staff via the link in the 'Additional Information' section.
It isn't possible to create a rescue email address without correctly answering two of the questions.
