Everytime I log into facetime I get an email... How do I discontinue these notifications?

You are not addressing anyone from Apple directly. This is a user-to-user forum that Apple does not directly participate in. If you wish to turn off email notifications there is a link in the upper right of each thread you have posted in that will say "stop email notifications." Click that. You can easily find the threads you've participated in by pulling down Your Stuff > Discussions.

iPhone keep on automatically turn off my email notification. I've about 10 mailbox configured and iPhone are turning some banners alert, lock screen, etc for the notification off for random mailbox at random time. I turn them on and it happens over and over again. It might be iOS to fight annoying email notification but I've got important email comings in.

I asked a discussion question and now I'm receiving 100 emails a day with discussion questions. How do I turn off the email notifications?

I asked a discussion question because of a software problem with my Mac Pro and now I've getting about 100 discussions email notifications a day to my personal email account. Can anyone tell me how to turn off the email notifications?

Turn off Yahoo email notification

Through Jabber service, I am now using Yahoo IM through iChat. One problem I have though is that Yahoo keeps sending me messages that I have new email. I want to turn off those notifications. How do I do that?

How to turn off OLM email notifications for class enrollments only?

Is there a way in Oracle to turn off Oracle Learning Management (OLM) email notifications only without turning off other notifications such as base HR, Benefits, Time and Labor, etc.?
I am want to enroll and give credit to learners to an instructor led course. However, I don't want emails to be sent out to the learners when I enroll and give credit to them.
Is there a way to do this?

To stop your emails you need to do several things. First, go to Your Stuff - Profile- Manage Email Notifications (in the upper right hand Actions box) - either check individual threads to remove or click in the top box which will check all the threads and then click on Remove Email Notifications.
Second, also in Your Stuff but go to Preferences this time and then Email Notification Preferences. Check no for each of the notifications you want stopped.
Also check the tutorial for managing email subscriptions
You might also make sure that you haven't subscribed to one of the communities by mistake.
Go to the community that you are receiving the emails from and the same box called "Actions" will appear there just like it does next to the individual question. Make sure that you are not reciveing email notifications for that community. Probably the community where you asked a question. Typically that is what causes people to get 100's of email notifications. I think that this is not included in the tutorial so a lot of people miss it.

I just synced my google calender with my iCal through iCloud and now I keep getting notifications about events. The events are from another family members comuter and now they are emailed from their computer to mine. I don't know how to turn this off and it is really annoying. Thank you. It was the banners that were bothersome. I had looked in preferences and it wasn't making sense to me since I didn't know what banners and alerts meant. And I still don't know what badge app icons or lock screens are.
