Trying to set up ITunes on my laptop but they won't allow me to enter my security code on the payment information.

  • My ipod won't allow me to enter the wifi code needed through Safari?

    I've reset it, I've reset network settings, forgotten the network, etc. with no joy.
    The wifi is accessed through a password, which the ipod accepts, but then you have to log in through safari and enter another code but safari won't bring up the log in page. I wouldn't mind but it was logging in perfectly all week and just STOPPED on saturday for no reason.
    Can anyone help please?

  • When is Apple going to release an update to our software that will eliminate a thiefs ability once the phone is stolen to turn off the find my phone option without first entering the security code? I think that this would solve a ton of issues.

    It would be a voilation of privete laws of many countries
    Every attempt to fight "evil" have a backside likely the reason they have not don so yet
    In the country i live in if stolen i repport the imei number of the phone to the police and the have all carriers and carriers they work with in other countries block the phone from ever being used as a phone

  • HT1311 when I try to enter the security code for my credit card then I click the "done" icon in the top right corner of the phone my security code does not save

    title says it all...

    If all your creditcard details are correct, you should be able to login and make purchases.
    Please note however, that the security code (CVC code) can be asked by apple on several occassions (f.e. when you're using a device for the first time) to confirm you're the credit card owner.

    You can look at this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2802, but user troubleshooting is power off/on, a reset holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will restart. This will not affect data at all. If needed, the next step is restore from a backup. With the phone connected to the computer and iTunes, click the Restore button, and when prompted, restore from your backup. Just make sure before you start the restore that you backup the device. The Backup button is right in front of you.
    Before trying to restore as a new device, the next step, I would do as I suggested in checking with the carrier. A restore as a new device deletes all data from the phone.

  • Family sharing verification has an old credit card number to verify. I have updated the credit card info but it is still not appearing in the verification process asking for the security code of the card. How lng to have account info updated to cloud

    I am trying to set up a family sharing with a new iMac and other Mac pro computer and other apple products. When I click to manage account and the add a member, I am told to verify the user by entering the security code from the credit card. The card listed is an old one and has since been changed. I updated the info on my apple account, but it is not getting to the iCloud for the family sharing. The number shown is the old card. When I enter a code it says invalid. How long does it take for the info to udate to all systems?

    Happy Holidays!  The resource below explains how to edit the credit card information for the Apple ID account that you want to use for Family Sharing.  Once you've made the changes, I would suggest you sign out of your iTunes Store on all of your devices, and then restart them.  The changes should take place quickly.  There is a link to the iTunes Store support below if you need more help.
    Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID) - Apple Support

    Change your payment information on a Mac or PC
    Click to open your account in iTunes. (You might need to sign in with your Apple ID.)
    Alternatively, you can:
    Open iTunes.
    Click iTunes Store.
    Click Sign In and enter your Apple ID.

    From the Account Information page, click Edit to the right of Payment Type.
    You can see the payment methods that the iTunes Store accepts in the Payment Type section. If you want to remove the payment method, select None in the Payment Type section. See what to do if None isn't showing or you can't select it.
    Change your information and click Done.
    After you change your payment information, the iTunes Store places an authorization hold on your credit card.

  • N97 won't allow me to enter lock code

    I upgraded the firmware on my N97 to 2.1 the other day and have had no problems since. This evening, after a reboot (no new software installed), it won't allow me to enter my 5 digit lock code. The keys are unresponsive. I've tried removing the battery etc..., but it's still the same. I want to avoid a hard reset if possible, as there is some info that is not backed up. I'd be grateful for any suggestions?

    itz looks like your digitizer is not working does anything work if you hit the touch screen if it iz not  you can get a repaired under warranty and you should not loose anything

    This process does not appear to work for me.  I'm running 10.8.3.  I created a new user for a guest staying with me.  They have gone now and I am attempting to either change the password or delete the user.  It won't allow me to choose the user I created.  I am logged in as myself and it states that I am an "Admin".  The user I'm attempting to change is listed as a "standard" user and there is a white checkmark inside an orange circular background on the user pic in the list of users. 
    Can someone help me?  I am having a hard time believing that OSx will allow me to create users and allow them use of my computer and it's drives, yet it will not allow me to change the password so I can monitor what they might have been doing while logged on?  What if this were my child?  This guest left under sketchy circumstances, and I'd really like to be able to ensure they were not using my computer to do illegal things or to have illegal communications.
    Any help would be appreciated.  (It's odd that it was so simple to "create" a user and set a password for them.......but it's complicated or a little known process to reverse.

    Here are two screen shots to show you what I am seeing.  The first screen shot shows it allowing me to select (highlighted in blue) my admin user (which is what I am locced in as).  The second screen shot shows it allowing me to select the "Guest" user (highlighted in blue).  However when I click on the user "Orion" nothing happens.  It will not change to highlight that user.

    Photoshoponline has a link you can try which web browser are you using?  If may be your browser or that they do not support your camera's raw format.  I received an error tht states try layer.  You should ask them your question Adobe Photoshop is not the problem its their Web application use their  link Pixlr.com Contact Us
