Dear wise & wondeful people:
How can I get missing contacts, notes, calendar dates and reminders that are just on my old iphone onto the iCloud for transfer to my new iPhone upgrade? Half of my contacts, notes, ect. were on my iCloud so have happily moved to my new iPhone but the rest are completely resistant. For example, on my iCloud I have 14 missing contacts starting with the letter A alone, however they are happily viewable on my old iPhone 4S and won't budge over into the iCloud.
There are also 3 notes missing yet still acessible on my onld iPhone 4S, the list goes on.
Your help would be most appreciated. Thank you so much.

I am looking for some help on several matters related to my upgrade to OS X Mavericks this week. THIS issue is one related to CALENDAR.
I believe that I have done everything (as instructed) to install, activate, and sync contacts and calendars via iCloud - immediately following my upgrade to Mavericks earlier this week. When I opened CALENDAR for the first time - from the Dock on my computer (not the iCloud calendar) - after upgrading to Mavericks and setting up iCloud - CALENDAR provided a pop-up notification stating "Moving calendars to server account..." with a moving "candy cane" progress bar.
This has been "updating" for about 12 hours, now. And while open and "updating" - it will not allow ANY other commands, scrolling, or menu options. Additionally, I am unable to close this calendar of the Mac, unless I 'Force Quit'. I have, in fact, executed Force Quit, and restarted the Mac. No change... it still "updates".
When I open the iCloud calendar - it opens and works (mostly). There are events on my iPhone 5 that are not on the iCloud calendar. And there are events on the iCloud calendar that are not on my iPhone. I have created new calendar events on each calendar account (iCloud on my Mac and iPhone 5) - and they seem to automatically update each device. There does not seem to be any obviously rationale for the inconsistency of the calendar (iCloud and iPhone).
Can you offer ideas for possible solutions to:
1) the "permanently updating" calendar from the Dock on my Mac?
2) ensure that all events are properly synced across all calendar accounts (and devices)?
THANK YOU!!Hello Phil... I got nothing from the Apple Communities. May have been very hard to diagnose via my description - or hard to resolve given many possible solutions.
The perpetually updating scroll-bar-of-death continued for about a week.
I DID (finally) get resolution from the Genius Bar in my local Apple Store. They deleted all prior "local" calendar back-ups and content - as I had my Calendar up on iCloud - which essentially "reset" the calendar function... and then reloaded the calendar, and then pulled in my calendar data from iCloud.
They twisted and tweaked a few more things that I was not able to follow (sorry I cannot offer more assistance on these other things).
They also reloaded Mavericks.
Everything seems to be working well now.
Apple Community... any more guidance for Phil - and others???

Premiere pro CS6 will not stop indexing and conforming
I am working on several projects with ease. But a project gives me problems. I have already imported several types of files and edit individual sequences.
Now I add more recordings but premiere does not stop indexing these files. If I want to watch any clip in the source player starts premiere program to index the selected clip and the last imported files again. How to fix this?

... just upgraded to Lion from Snow Leopard. Swiping a (one) finger (left) back and (right) forth should move the pages / sites back and forward.
It does not on Firefox but does on Safari.
Please tell me how to make Firefox work.

For a few months now, Flash has been continuously degrading and falling apart, getting worse and worse and worse even without any new updates, changes in settings, driver updates or anything. It's actually falling apart very organically, which completely baffles me, and I've yet to find a way to make it work.
Flash failing is universal, not just in Firefox. It does this whether I update to the latest, or downgrade to 10.3 or 11.2. I've turned off protected mode. Hardware mode has been turned off for months, and turning it back on obviously didn't help at all. I'm running the latest drivers available for my laptop, but downgrading them doesn't help either. Any program that uses flash doesn't work; this means right now I can't listen to music or play videos even offline. I can't even use Skype. Yet small things work, like gmail has never crashed me, and I can browse YouTube as long as I don't start up a video.
Basically my computer has been rendered near useless and I -need- help. :(I tried everything - when downgrading, the flash plugin wont start anymore - it just says "CLick here to activate plugin" and no reaction. The new version of flash always initially work and start crashing a few days later.
I scanned my PC for viruses. What next? -

i now for the fourth time since March have to bring the product back to apple and have it looked at . That's hours at times that I spend there due to lines , as a full time worker and student I do not appreciate the hassle of continuously having to fix this product . Lat time I went in I asked the service representative to provide another product and I would pay the difference in fees. She just wrote a note saying " if I come back again to to give a brand new product , less then one week later I'm returning with my product and hope to get what I was promised .
I Have never been so disappointed in an apple product and recommend no one ever buys it . Invest in a different product .I have the same question what time did you chat ? Just because you were speaking with someone that is representing Verizon does not mean you were speaking to a "Customer Service" agent. Customer service is only open during specific hours. After those hours the only people online is the Online Sales Department. It is very possible you were chatting with the sales department.

MacBook Pro will not start up, and is making low-pitched beeping noises
I bought my MacBook Pro four days ago and it had worked perfectly fine until yesterday. Now when I try to power it up it won't, and perpetually makes low beeping noises (even when closed) in intervals of 3. Does anyone know what is going on?

My iPod nano, 6th generation, will not stop playing and none of the buttons will work
I listen to audiobooks. My iPod was fine, I just checked how far I was in this chapter. I checked again 2 minutes later and I cannot get the screen to lite up nor can I control the volume. But my book continues to play. I plugged it in to charge with a wall charger, nothing. I plugged into my computer and again nothing.
It is only 3 weeks old, I use it about between 1-3 hours a day.
Anyone else have this problem?Have you tried resetting it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Volume down buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

Good morning, I installed ios6 on the new iPad and siri will not work. Each time I try to use siri she says "uh oh, I'm having a problem. Please try again. I have tried turning siri off and back on again. Resetting the iPad, resetting the network, turning Airplane Mode off and on again. All to know avail. My iphone 5 works great and so does my wife's iphone 4s with ios6. I have called Apple support but there only suggestion was that the servers were busy. If that was the case my other devices would not work either. Plus the servers wouldn't be busy for four days. Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. I was looking forward to using siri on the new iPad and other folks don't seem to be having a problem.

It's very possible Apple's servers have been busy for 4 days as not everyone downloaded iOS 6 on the day it was announced. I downloaded it last Friday, myself, as an example.
There are a millions and millions of people using Apple iDevices.
Just because everything went fine with the iOS 6 updates of your iPhone 4 and 5 doesn't mean something couldn't have gone wrong with an update to your iPad3
If the iOS update missed something during the download, I am not sure how to go about re-downloading iOS 6 to fix the issue you are having. -

Hello. I just upgraded to an HP Officejet 6500. Everything is working great, except one thing. When I want to print something, from a web page, for example, I press CTRL plus P. It takes over one minute for the printer options to show up my screen. T
