HT201317 accessing my photos on icloud

I am having a difficult time finding all of the photos and video uploaded to the icloud from my phone. When I go to my icloud account it doesn't have an option to access photos or video. Can anyone help with this? Thanks so much.

You can't access or view photo stream photos on icloud.com.  You can only do this from an iOS device or computer that is syncing with your iCloud account with photo stream enabled.
Also, videos are not uploaded to photo stream; only photos.  Camera roll videos are included in your iCloud backup, but are not synced to your account.

What a crappy design. This is where Android is so much better. It seems to me like you have no control over your iPhone. It does whatever Apple has designed it to do without asking you first. On Android you can actually go in see all folders, document files, photo files etc and you have so much more control of everything. Apple s..cks!

  • I am running 10.9.4. on an older Mac (mid 2007). My iPhoto is 7.1.5.  I have no access to photos on iCloud. The icon does not even appear. I've been told that an iPhoto upgrade may not solve problem. Advice?

I have no access to photos on iCloud. The icon does not even appear on my mac or in iCloud.
The Mac is running 10.9.4. on a mid 2007 model.
    My iPhoto is 7.1.5.
I was told that my system was too old to support the required upgrades that would allow me to to see photos on iCloud; thus, I should not be the latest iPhoto.  Accurate?

All you need to do is upgrade your iPhoto to iPhoto 9.5.1 thru the App Store.  This screenshot shows which previous versions of iPhoto are compatible with Mavericks.  It also indicates which versions qualify for a free upgrade to iPhoto 9.5.1 and which require a purchase:
Note 1:  every day more users are reporting problems with iPhoto 8.1.2 so I've included it in the non compatible category.
Note 2:  If your previous version of iPhoto was iPhoto 7 (08) or earlier you'll need to download and run the iPhoto Library Upgrader 1.1 application on the library before opening it with iPhoto 9.5.1

  • Cannot work out how to access my photos on icloud or on my pc?

cannot work out how to access my photos on icloud or on my pc?

You cannot view Photos stored on your iCloud by visiting iCloud.com but to view iCloud Photos on your Computer you will need iCloud Control Panel for Windows to be downloaded and installed on your computer and Enable Photostream on your  iOS Device. For more details on how to Enable PhotoStream and use iCloud Control Panel go through the link below.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ph2605
By default, photos are automatically downloaded to the My Photo Stream folder inside the Photo Stream album in your Pictures library, and uploaded from the Uploads folder inside the Photo Stream album in your Pictures library.

How do i access my photos in iCloud using Windows Vista?

You can access your photos from photo stream on any of your devices.
If you delete photos from the camera roll they aren't deleted from photo stream, if that's what you are asking.

There isn't really a way to "save" photos to iCloud currently with non-beta software.
iCloud is involved with photos in 2 ways -- backup and Photo Stream.
Backup of an iOS device includes Camera Roll photos but they cannot be viewed at iCloud.com -- the backup can only be used when doing a restore of an iOS device.
Photo Stream photos also cannot be viewed at iCloud.com; Photo Stream is designed as a method of transferring photos from one device to another and is not designed to store the photos. More info http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486
There is a new feature -- "iCloud Photo Library" -- coming sometime after the iOS 8 release next week: http://www.macrumors.com/2014/09/12/apple-demotes-icloud-photo-library-beta/

  • My iPhone was stolen. How do I access my photos off iCloud using a pc or my iPad?

Iphone stolen. How do I access my photos off my iCloud account using a PC or ipad?

Make sure my photo stream and iCloud photo sharing are turned on in Settings>iCloud>Photos.  Any shared streams will appear in the Shared section of the photos app.  Any my photo stream photos added in the last 30 days should download to your phone when connected to wifi.  Camera roll photos can only be recovered from your backup, either by restoring it to your new phone, or extracting them from a backup on your computer using 3rd party software.

  • My Ipad was stolen and I want to access my photos via Icloud...

My Ipad was stolen recently and I want to access my photos that I had on there. I assumed I could somehow retrieve them from icloud but this doesnt seem to be the case? Does anyone know how I can get back the photos I lost?

If you haven't been automatically importing them to iPhoto or Aperture on a Mac, as mentioned by Allen, you would have to recover them by restoring your iPad backup to a replacement iPad.  This will include your camera roll photos.  If the backup is an iCloud backup, Apple will delete it after 180 days of inactivity so be sure to do this befor then.

  • How can i access my photos in icloud with my ipad?

I am in desperate need to get my photos from my iphone 3gs synced with all my apple devices. I was able to sell my iphone 3 but since it is still synced with my ipad and iphone 4, the new owner of the iphone i sold cannot register his own apple id.
Also, i was hoping that i will be able to retrieve my photos from this iphone 3 backed up in icloud but do not know how i can access icloud through my ipad. Im not a very techy person and im really hoping someone will be patient enough to help me since some of the pictures in that iphone 3 were my kids' pictures and i was not able to save them in my laptop before it crashed and was reset.
    Please help me. Thanks

  • HT201317 Where my photo in icloud

I Wand to back up  my photophoto

You can only see you photo stream photos on an iOS device or computer that is signed into your iCloud account with photo stream enabled.
To back up your camera roll photos, import them to your computer using your usb cable, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.  To back up photo stream photos that aren't in your camera roll, save them to the camera roll by tapping Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward pointing arrow), then tap Save to Camera Roll.  Then import them to your computer along with your other camera roll photos.

  • When I forgot my password for home screen and it disabled my iPod, i had to reset my iPod. My iCloud had saved all of my data such as photos in storage or something. But I do not know how to access these photos. Any ideas?

How do i access my photos that were saved in icloud storage from before i had to reset everything. I know the photos can still somehow be accessed because icloud showed that space was being taken up for photos straight after i had reset the device and there were no photos there on the device at the time. So any ideas on how to access these photos from icloud? Any help very much appreciated, thanks.

  • Can't see photos on icloud

I am not a tech person!  When I open ICloud on my Dell PC I see icons for mail; contacts; reminders; notes   I do not have an icon for PHOTOS -- how do I access my photos in ICloud?  Thanks for any help!!

There is not currently any way to see photos on iCloud.com
Photos (Camera Roll) are stored on iCloud as part of an iPhone or iPad backup but the backups are only able to be used when doing a complete restore of the iOS device and can not be viewed on iCloud.
The other involvement of iCloud is in Photo Stream. Photo Stream is designed as a way to transfer photos from one device to another and not as a storage mechanism. Note the following quotation from iCloud: My Photo Stream FAQ
How long are My Photo Stream photos stored in iCloud?
The photos you upload to My Photo Stream are stored in iCloud for 30 days to give your devices plenty of time to connect and download them.
After the release of iOS 8 iCloud is announces to include a Photo Library feature which will make a significant change to the above: https://www.apple.com/pr/library/2014/06/02Apple-Unveils-iOS-8-the-Biggest-Relea se-Since-the-Launch-of-the-App-Store.htm…
