HT201317 how do I open to view pictures that were stored in my icloud?

How do I open and view old pics that I hope are stored in my icloud?

Hello Shannon,
Your Photo Stream photos can be viewed from your Photos App.
How do I view My Photo Stream?
On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, your photos will appear in the Photo Stream view in the Photos app. If you're using iOS 6 or later, you can find your photos by tapping the Photo Stream tab and then tapping the My Photo Stream album. In iOS 5, your photos are in the Photo Stream album.
On your Mac, they appear in the Photo Stream view in iPhoto or Aperture. In iPhoto 9.4 or later or in Aperture 3.4 or later, open the My Photo Stream album in the Photo Stream view.
On a PC using Windows 8, from the Start screen, select Photo Stream. On a PC using Windows 7 or VIsta, click theWindows Start button, and then Pictures. Click Photo Stream under the Favorites menu in the panel on the left. Double-click My Photo Stream to view your photos.
On Apple TV, after signing in with your iCloud account, you can view your photos by choosing Photo Stream from the main menu (or selecting Internet > Photo Stream in Apple TV Software Update 5.0).

Lost my pictures that were backed up in iCloud.  How do I find/search for them?

Unfortunately, you cannot view them and I would not recommend to only store your photos via iCloud, because iCloud will only do a backup of your device including the photos that you have currently stored in your Camera Roll. I would recommend to store them (manually or via Photo Stream) on Mac/PC or with another cloud storage service like Dropbox.

Log into the iCloud on your MacBook Pro and enable Photo Stream:
Then launch iPhoto and set iPhoto's Photo Stream preferences to the following:
Then check the Photo Stream section of iPhoto:
This is to confirm that the photos are still in Photo Stream. If they are they will be imported into the library.
NOTE: not all photos in an iPhone will be in the Photo Stream. PS only keeps photos in it for 30 days.
If you have the missing photos in your library put them in an album.  Connect your iPhone to the Mac and open iTunes.  In iTunes you can select that album in the library and sync the photos to your iPhone to get them back on the iPhone.

  • How can I open and edit files that were developed and published by ftp to my host on my old macbook, which I can no longer access.

How can I open and edit files that were developed and published via ftp to my host on my old macbook, which I can no longer access. The HD containing the files cannot be accessed. I want to be able to download the published files to be edited in iweb?

You CAN'T download published files and then edit them in iWeb because iWeb can't open them - it has no import facility so is unable to open any html or css files - a previously published site.
You can download these files yes, but you'll need to use them as a guide or to cut and paste text from there whilst you re-build your site in iWeb.
The only other way is to download the files and then open them with an html editor such as TextWrangler or use one of the other web design programmes out there that is capable of importing html and css such as Dreamweaver of Flux 4.
These are your only alternatives as iWeb can't import and if you want to continue to use iWeb, then you'll have to re-build your site from scratch.  If you do just remember to back up your domain.sites file this time around - it is found under your User/Library/Applicaion Support/iWeb/domain.sites.

By syncing them from your iphoto using that article
iOS and iPod: Syncing photos using iTunes - Apple - Support
Or if last 30 days of pictures is enough for you, you just need to sign in to your icloud on the phone and turn photostream "ON".

  • How can I view all that is stored in my icloud photo?

I would like to see and edit all that is stored in my icloud? How can I do that?

It should all be on your phone.  Just open the apps that you are syncing with iCloud (mail, contacts, calendars, notes, reminders, etc.).  Anything you change there will also change it in iCloud.  Your photo stream photos are in your my photo stream album inside the photos app on your phone.
You can also view and edit some of this by going to on icloud.com from your your computer.

  • TS3992 where can i view pictures that are stored in icloud

where can i view photos stored in icloud and how do I delete some of them

There are two iCloud Photo areas: My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Stream.  Here is the info on both.
iCloud: My Photo Stream FAQ - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4486
How do I delete photos from My Photo Stream?
You can delete photos from your photo stream the same way you delete other photos from your iOS device or Mac. Just select the photos you want to remove, then tap the trash icon or click Delete. On your PC, select the photos you want to remove from your photo stream, right-click, then select delete. When you delete a photo from My Photo Stream on one device, iCloud will automatically delete it from the My Photo Stream album or view on your other devices. Learn more about deleting photos.
iCloud: Shared Photo Streams FAQ - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5903
How do I delete photos from a shared stream?
If you are the owner of a shared stream, you can delete photos from the stream in the same way you delete any other photos from your iOS device, Mac, or Windows PC.  The photos will be automatically deleted from the stream on all your devices and the devices of anyone subscribed to the stream. Any photos that were previously saved or downloaded from the shared stream to another location, such as the Camera Roll, will not be deleted from that location. • I recently received my new iPhone 4 from my carrier since my old one was stolen. I restored my new iPhone from my old iPhones iCloud back up but now all the pictures that were stored in my old phone are blurry in my new phone. Please help!

Luckily, using the "Find My iPhone" app, I was able to scare the thieves into bringing my iPhone back to the place they stole it from (Dave and Busters..on my BIRTHDAY OF ALL DAYS). So now, $169 later (deductible for replacement iPhone), I have both my 1st iPhone and my replacement. On my first iPhone, I have all of my pictures saved and they are very clear, but when I restored my replacement iPhone from my original iPhones iCloud backup, all the pictures that I took in my original iPhone are blurry! I thought about backing up my original iPhone through iTunes and then resetting my replacement iPhone and restoring it from my original iPhones settings but I dont want to lose all of my new pictures I took. I know this sounds confusing (well, it looks confusing, since you cant actually hear me) but I could use all the help I can get!

No such thing has occurred.  iPhones do not backup to one another.
It is not possible to backup a different iPhone from the one being updated.
If the iPhone was restored with a backup from a different device, restore it again from the correct backup.

Pay attention when restoring the iPhone and select the correct backup to restore from.

    Restore from the backup
You should be importing all pics to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera.

  • How can I change my Apple ID that is stored in my iCloud Account Information?

I need to update my iCloud account on my Touch with a new Apple ID.  How can I do this?  Thanks!

To change your iCloud ID, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud.
When you delete the account you will be prompted about whether to delete or keep the iCloud data.  If you are signing back into the same account that has only been renamed, choose Delete.   Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.  If you are changing to a new account with a new ID, choose Keep, then sign back in with your new ID and choose Merge with iCloud to upload your data to the new account.
To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account.  To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.

  • I Updated my iphone to iOS 5 and backed up everything . But I Lost all my pictures that were on the Phone. Is there anything I can do to recover those pictures?                                   erything.

I updated my I phone 4 to iOS 5 and backed up when prompted. But I Lost all my pictures that were stored on the phone. Is they any way I can retrieve those pictures?

Yes, there are two utilities that I use to perform this task, SuperCrazyAwesome’s iPhone Backup Extractor which is a free utility, and addPod’s Juice Phone, also free.  Neither solution will work if you have encrypted your backup files. Both allow you to access the backed up data as if the iPhone was connected to your Mac.

If you mean backed up as part of an iPhone backup in iTunes?  If so, you would have to use 3rd party software to extract them from the backup, such as iPhone Backup Extractor.

I haven't deleted my text messages on my iphone 3g and now i cant view the pictures that were in the text messages how can i view them?

I had the same problem a year ago when I did an iOS upgrade. Now if I receive an important photo I save it to the Camera Roll
No way I know of to retrieve them unless you have a very recent backup to restore from maybe?

We have three operational computers, one does not have iTunes on it.  Since Apple is saying I have more than 5 authorized computers, and I can't imagine what they are, I am afraid to deauthorize all my computers.  See what I mean?  I just wanted to ask the question about how I can find out WHICH computers Apple thinks I have authorized, so I can decide if it's safe to deauthorize them all or not.
You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. Apple's system would see that as a different computer, even though you don't. There's nothing to be afraid of in deauthorizing everything and the reauthorizing what you actually have. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized.
