HT201317 how do I view all photos in my icloud

Hi so I know I have more photos in I cloud then what is streamed to my Iphone how do I pull them up? thanks

Photo stream only keeps photos for 30 days.  After that, they are removed from photo stream but will remain on your device (up to 1000 photos).  If you just connected your phone to photo stream, it will only receive photos added in the last 30 days as older photos are no longer there.

  • HT201317 How do I view all photos from my photo stream on my PC?

When talking to an Apple employee, they stated that I had 374 photos in my photo stream but when bringing it up on my PC under pictures/photostream I can only get 114. Why can't I get the other 260 photos?

If your system meets the iCloud system requirements for photo stream (OS X 10.7.2 or later and iPhoto '11 9.2 or later or Aperture 3.4), you can sign into your iCloud account and enable photo stream, as explained here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.html.  This will import photo stream photos added in the last 30 days.  To import ealier photos you would need to create a shared photo stream that included these photos and invite yourself, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99.
Another option is to save them to your camera roll (if not already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll.  Once in the camera roll, they can be imported to iPhoto on your Mac using your USB cable, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

  • How can I view all photos from a specific year?

How can I view all photos taken in one calendar year like 2010? Is there a way to filter this way?

Yes, create a smart album or a search with a "Date" rule or a Calendar rule.
For example: New > Smart Album
    Add Rule:  Date
         Capture year is 2010.
    or: Add Rule: Calendar
and click-step  the year back to 2010:
In the Calendar it is a bit cumbersom to select a whole year, because it will only show 3 month at once. Select the first day and then scroll to to the end oft the year.

There is no "Online Gallery" feature in iCloud.
You can use photostream instead to snyc your pictures across your devices, but not to the internet.

  • HT201317 How do I get my photos off of iCloud and back on my phone?

I have all of my photos connected to iCloud, so they can backup and be saved.  But since I have a very limited amount of space, and after my photos have been backed up, I end up deleting them off my phone so I can have more room.  I now have more space available and would really like my pictures back on my phone.  Is there a way to get them back on my phone from iCloud?

iCloud only backs up the photos that are on your device when it is backed up.  If you deleted the photos from your phone, then backed up, the backup will no longer include the photos you deleted.  Also, photo stream only keeps your photos for 30 days.  After that they are deleted from photo stream but not from any device that already has them.  Also, if you deleted the photos from the My Photo Stream album on your phone, they are also deleted from your photo stream (as the prompt warns you when you do) and could not therefore later be recovered from photo stream.
If you still have a backup that was made while the photos were on your phone, you could restore to the backup to recover the photos.  Otherwise they are lost.
If you want to save your photos, always import them to your computer, as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808.

  • How do i view all photos on ipad that haven't been added to an album yet?

I have over a thousand pictures on my iPad. I want to sort them into albums. But I am running into difficulties.
    (1) After adding a bunch of images to various albums, I am sure I missed a few. Is there a way to just see ONLY those pictures that have NOT yet been added to any album? Can this be done in Photos app, or do I have to buy iPhoto or something else?
    (2) Is there any app that can overlay on top of each image thumbnail a set of icons where each overlaid icon represents one of the albums that the photo is currently in?
    Thanks.

No... the whole point of my question is that I want to organize my photos on my iPad prior to putting them on my computer. I have a lot of "dead time" on the bus/train/plane where using iPad for this would be ideal. I find it shocking that it lacks this basic capability in the built-in software.
Surely there must be an app which can access the images I've already imported to iPad using the Camera Connection Kit, and allow me to sort them out into folders or albums. Photos app already does most of what I'd like it to do, but it does not let you filter images by which albums they don't belong to. I.e. you can't see which images aren't sorted into at least one album yet. Photos app also lacks metadata viewing/filtering/tagging/rating. Heck even my PS3 can show metadata...!
I am constantly mystified at Apple's lack of what I would consider pretty basic features. There are some ideas, like the classic Mac GUI file/folder desktop analogy, that to me are timeless. I have yet to see the benefit or advantage to iOS's crippling lack of the ability to work with files in a logical or direct way. I do understand how letting the app itself organize its own documents into directories itself helps it keep track of files for the purposes of using CoreData to create more informative views and organizational structures. However in Unix there are abundant ways to have this cake and eat it too -- you can do what TimeMachine does, which is to create hard links to files, so any given file can simultaneously exist in multiple different folders without necessitating duplicated data. Why can't Photos app therefore let me organize my files into folders the way I want to, in a standard, Mac-like way, without disrupting its own DB, simply by usig hard links or symbolic links, or something like this? Why not have file system layer that refers to each file by a UUID instead of by a directory path?
I am so tired of the gimped file system of iOS. First they said it was for security on iPhone. But then when iPad came out and it was the same way, then the excuse changes to, "People just like it better this way, and so should you." Wait, so 1984-2007 didn't happen...? You can't suddenly act like the Macintosh desktop analogy is suddenly an irrelevant bad idea. Just because people suffer through the lameness that is iTunes File Sharing, doesn't mean they universally would like it better if they could just access their files right in the Finder instead of through a kludge-funnel.

  • HT201317 How do I include all photos in photo stream on Apple TV?

I can only see photo stream photos as of march 19, but I have them from a year ago.  How do I get them to photo stream on my Apple TV?  They are on my iPad under photo stream

iCloud only keeps photos in your photo stream for 30 days, but they will remain on your iPad (up to 1000 photos) until you delete them.  I believe Apple TV will only display the photos that are still in your photo stream, not photos earlier than 30 days ago.
If the older photos are on your iPad, you could always open them on your iPad and use AirPlay to display them on your Apple TV.

  • How to view all files stored in iCloud

How do I view all my files stored on iCloud?
I purchased additional iCloud memory space , backed up my iPhone then deleted videos from my iPhone to free up space.
Now I would like to retrieve a home video. Where/how do I see what's saved in my iCloud account?

You can't use iCloud to free up space on your phone like that.  Videos are only stored in the iCloud backup, and can only be accessed by restoring the backup to your phone.  However, if you delete the videos from your phone and continue to back up, the backup containing the deleted videos will be overwritten by one that doesn't and they will be lost.  Hopefully haven't backed up your phone since you deleted these videos.  If not, restore the backup to your phone to recover them.
In the future, import your camera roll photos and videos to you computer using your usb cable as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.  Then you can delete them from your phone and sync them back later if you ever want to.

  • How can I view all my images as thumbnails without folders?

I want to clean out my photos so I can start organizing them on my Macbook Pro Retina, but I can't figure out how to just view all of the original image files as thumbnails. They're all split up into confusing and some seemingly identical folders. Is there a way for me to just view all of my original image files at one place in finder so I can effectively clean them out?

You can use a Finder > Smart Folder and set the location and criteria, there might even be All Images on the left Finder window sidebar

  • How can I get all photos from iPhoto to automatically back up to iCloud from my Mac OSX Version 10.6.8 operating system.  Not enough memory to upgrade.

How can I get all photos from iPhoto to automatically back up to iCloud from my Mac OSX Version 10.6.8 operating system.  Not enough memory to upgrade.

You can't.  iCloud is not for general file backup from a Mac. It's for backup up and syncing data between mobile devices and and Macs and  The following is from this Apple document: iCloud: Backup and restore overview.
iCloud automatically backs up the most important data on your (mobile) device using iOS 5 or later. Once you have enabled Backup on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch .....
    What is backed up
You get unlimited free storage for:
Purchased music, movies, TV shows, apps, and books
Notes: Backup of purchased music is not available in all countries. Backups of purchased movies and TV shows are U.S. only. Previous purchases may not be restored if they are no longer in the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.
Some previously purchased movies may not be available in iTunes in the Cloud. These movies will indicate that they are not available in iTunes in the Cloud on their product details page in the iTunes Store. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer available in the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.
You get 5 GB of free iCloud storage for:
Photos and videos in the Camera Roll
Device settings (for example: Phone Favorites, Wallpaper, and Mail, Contacts, Calendar accounts)
    App data
    Home screen and app organization
    Messages (iMessage, SMS, and MMS)
    Ringtones
    Visual Voicemails
But not from a Mac.  If you want to backup your photos and other important files I suggest you get an external hard drive and use  it with Time Machine.

  • How can I get all photos from the camera roll onto the photo stream so they will share between iphone and ipad?

How can I get all photos from the camera roll, and all new pictures taken, to get on the photostream so they can share between iphone and ipad?

When turning PhotoStream on with photos available in the Camera Roll, only photos captured by the iPhone or saved on the iPhone are placed in the PhotoStream.
For all photos that were in the Camera Roll prior to turning PhotoStream on, import the photos with your computer and add the photos to your PhotoStream on your computer.

  • How can I view all my apple map pushpin Points of Intrest and pictures at once?

Been trying to find a way to view all my Apple Maps Points of Interest pushpins all at once on the map screen.  As I drive along routing, or when I zoom in and out of map areas.  Saved bookmarks shows a long list, but I can't figure out how to just view all the pushpins on the map, so I can access my favorite locations and notes as I drive or plan a trip.
Maybe create a map pushpin folder to save only pictures related to the saved map bookmarks.  And save on phone or skydrive?  I still just go by memory.  But the list, notes and scenes are getting really numerous.  RV campsites, fishing, biking, skiing, services, phone signal, shopping, wifi, laundry, jobs, pictures, and much more.
I have an old HP mini that I like and use with my iphone 4.  Have no interest or extra money to be upgrading my devices every time the software/bloatware updates overload otherwise perfectly good phones and laptops.  Hope to be able to share with others how to have their phones and computers work for them, instead of the other way around.
Might stay with iPhone and even buy an ipad if they become more univerally compatible, or switch to all windows devices.  Not too happy with PCs bloatware programming these days either.  My old windows 98 laptop runs some really powerful programs.  Wonder how many people would buy Jeeps and such vehicles, if they could not easily drive them on regular city streets or highways?

  • How can I remove all photos from my iphone?

How can I remove all photos from my iphone?

    Hi pjdemeo,
I understand you want to delete all of the photos from your iPhone.  As a precaution, I would suggest importing the photos and videos from your iPhone into your computer.  This will give you a backup for the images, and after import you will be asked if you want to delete the photos.
Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201302
The iPhone User Guide has instructions for deleting photos directly from the device:
Organize photos and videos - iPhone
    http://help.apple.com/iphone/8/#/iphf14943e
Delete a photo or video from Photos. Tap the Photos tab, tap the photo or video, tap , then tap Delete Photo or Delete Video. Deleted photos and videos are kept in the Recently Deleted album on iPhone, with a badge showing the remaining days until the item is permanently removed from iPhone. To delete the photo or video permanently before the days expire, tap the item, tap Delete, then tap Delete Photo or Delete Video. If you use iCloud Photo Library beta, deleted photos and videos are permanently removed from all iOS 8.1 devices that use iCloud Photo Library beta with the same Apple ID.
    Cheers,
    - Judy
