HT201317 I am having problems with photos, my phone has been telling me it has no space to take any more photos. After various attempts to delete photos, sync etc. I have now managed to delete some albums I now have 2 photo stream albums!

I have tried syncing, deleting, and eventually powered the phone off which seemed to delete the albums I had stored. However it has now left me with two versions of Photo stream one with 214 photos, and one with 475. I think a lot of the photos are duplicated! I have deleted Apps as well to try to free up some space, but I really don't undersIAtand how syncing works. Is there a tutorial that anyone knows about which will explain it to a non-techie person in plain english? I am still not sure whether I am giving myself problems because I'm not doing something right. It always feels like I am syncing the phone to the computer, rather than the other way round! Thanks in anticipation....

I couldn't tell you whether they are in your camera roll too, you'd need to take a look to see whether they are or not.
Turning photostream off and on again, won't affect any photos in your camera roll.

I suspect you are attempting to burn an HD DVD, which will not play on a DVD player...
But if you provide more details such as the settings you are applying in Compressor, then we would be able to provide you more accurate information.
How are you adding the files to Compressor?
In FCP, what are your footage properties (command-9) and sequence settings (command-0)

Having problem with photos getting switched

I'm using Pages to create a monthly newsletter. I sent out the rough draft for proofing and people are telling me that some of the photos are wrong. They are correct in my copy. What is happening?

I cannot be absolutely certain of anything. I am new to using iWorks and this photo mix up is the major problem I've had so far. I'm sending the newsletter to board members and staff to proof for content. We want the newsletter to be correct before we send it out to donors.
I am copying/transfering the correct photos from iPhoto into the document I am creating. Somehow the photos are getting mixed up before getting to the people I am sending the document to.
I used the "share" feature in the toolbar of Pages. Some people can open it and some cannot. Last month, even though I had inserted the correct photos in the correct place, people said I had two of the same photo instead of two different photos. My copy showed the correct photos. I had to send the document in PDF by email to some people.
This month someone suggested I use We Transfer. I have to send the document in PDF form because most people can't open it in .page. Some people like it, some don't, but the problem with the mixed up photos on the receiving end continues.

Problems with photo streaming

I have downloaded icloud on my Iphone 4, ipad and pc with windows 7 and i am having problems streaming photos. I have everything turned on and i am at home with good wi-fi yet i can't get any of the photos that i take on my phone to stream onto ither my ipad or pc. Any help would be welcome.

i got the same problem . but i think my problem may be because of a slow internet connection, maybe not. but also when i try to activate photo streaimg on the icloud panel in windows 7 it gives me an error . . help anyone?

Problem with Photo Streaming

Hi all,
I have an apple tv 3rd, and I just upgraded to version 6, the fact is that I will photo streaming and I get the page of the license acceptance, I give all the time to "accept" and I do not do anything stays at that screen all the time. I've rebooted several times but does the same, the license screen does not disappear.
Anyone know what might be happening with the previous version did not have that problem, I could see the pictures of the iphone without any problem.

I can't access Photo Stream on my new Macbook Air (iPhoto Stream is empty!).
I have an iPhone and iPad and Photo Stream works on them fine. How can I see photos from their photo stream on my Macbook?
N.B. I have enabled ALL Photo Stream settings in both iCloud and iPhoto!

phone has passcode and is not wanntig to restore and have forgotten the passcode. i dont have the original computer i was using so i followed the forums and i am back were i have started.

All you can do is follow the instructions in the article you have attached to your post. Follow the instructions under "If you have never synced your device with iTunes", since you have never synced with iTunes on the computer you are attempting to restore it on.
We can do no more to help you here. The article tells you exactly what you need to do.

My HP 6210 is not printing properly. It appears to be a software problem not an ink cartridge problem. It will print parts of a document and skip other parts, leaving a document that looks as if some sections were left out purposely. The color of pictures is real screwed up. Overall, it prints in a light blue print.

Forget about HP software, it's in your best interest to totally uninstall it and use the tools available in OS X. The best place to get started is:

Problems with Photos and Fonts and Explorer

I am having problems with photos and fonts when my site is viewed on Explorer. The site is Ostyn-Newman.com The problems can both be seen on the start page -though they happen throughout the site. The photo is supposed to be only 30% opaque and it shows fine on Firefox or Safari, but Explorer viewers get the photo being used as wallpaper at 100% and this steps all over the text. Should I give up a using a photo as wallapaper?
Also the font I am using for "Ostyn-Newman Objects for Fine Homes" shows well in Firefox and Safari, but looks really bad on Explorer products. Should I just change the font? I am currently using Snell Roundhand.

The message in each is pretty much the same but he does give some info of an application that can optimize the web pages to make them more readily readable by IE.

Need help with Photo Stream

I am having issues with Photo Stream and iPhoto when the iPhoto library is stored on a Drobo NAS. When I access the library stored on the NAS I see Photo Stream on the menu and when I access the library I get a message that tells me I need to switch Photo Stream to this Library. I did select to switch Photo Stream over to this NAS library and I did get a big blue button that is suppose to start Photo Stream but when I push it nothing happens.
I have contacted Apple support and they said that this is the way Photo Stream works and recommended that I submit a request to have this feature added at Apple\Feedback, if it is something I would like to have. They said if enough people request this feature they will add it but that Photo Stream does not currently support an iPhoto library stored on a remote NAS or shared network drive.
My question is has anyone found a work around for this? If you would like to have this feature added to Photo Stream can you please submit your request to Apple so they will add it, perhaps a little sooner than later?

I checked today and this issue has been solved with the latest iPhoto update from Apple. I am running iPhoto 9.2.3 on my Snow Leopard Server which is sharing a Drobo NAS. I am also running iPhoto 9.2.3 on my MBP running Lion and I can now open my iPhoto Library and Photostream will work with the library and even automatically create events and move all my Photostream pictures into these events within the Library. I can then close the Library on my MBP and open the same Library from my Snow Leopard server and the new Events are there and I can move them around with no problem. Thank you Apple for this fix. Even though I cannot deal with Photostream directly from the Snow Leopard server this is a very eligant work around.

This is a major problem with Lollipop, but yo said it started 2 months ago. Several people have fixed problem by removing FaceBook And Face book messenger and then re loading the apps again. You might want to clear your cache before reloading. Not sure this is your problem, but worth a try. Good Luck
