My problem with iCloud is that now I can't connect my iPhone with my laptop and move photos from my iPhone folders to folders on my computer. If I can find a way to do that again without removing iCloud entirely, I'll do it.
Any advice?! I want to delete it entirely. I get nothing from it.

You can import photos from your camera roll to your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. If you want to save photo stream photos too, save them to the camera roll before importing them (tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll). However, this will not maintain the album structure on your phone.
If you want to import photos from your computer while maintaining your albums, you'll have to use an app like PhotoSync, which can transfer photos from all your albums to your computer (including photo stream) over wifi.

I just got a mac book and trying to resync my ipad. I have all my photos located in three separate folders. I plugged in my ipad and opened up the page in itunes to start syncing. When i went to the sync photos page I can't locate any of my folders even though it's quite odvious they are there. You can't "fix" this problem because you can't sync email messages from the Mac mail app, you can only sync your email account settings. Messages will not sync using iTunes.

So I recently synced a few folders from my PC to my iPad 1 and there was a few photos I did not want on my iPad, so when I tapped the photo, the trash button wasn't there. I looked up why that was happening and discovered it was because synced photos can't be deleted from the photo library. So I ask my question, how can I sync specific photos from folders instead of the whole folder? from iTunes to my iPad. If there is not a way for me to sync specific photos from folders, how can I delete the photos I don't want from my iPad?

As King_Penguin has already explained, this isn't possible with the stock Photos app.
As far as photo syncing is concerned, I also recommend PhotoSync, which is an excellent photo (and video!) synchronization tool, should you want to stick with the stock Photos app on the iPad. Should you want something better (Photos is a pretty limited app without sorting, EXIF displaying etc. capabilities and with HUGE storage usage), you'll need to take a look at third-party apps. I too recommend Photo Manager Pro, it's IMHO the best tool. I can not sync all photos in Aperture into Iphone 5. It always can sync some photos into 5. Then finish and prompts: "itunes can not synchronize (other)thousands of projects, and see more information in itunes". That means most of my photos can not seen on Iphone 5, it seems just can't import to 5. Is that the problem of Iphone or the pictures in Aperture, or even just because lack of sufficient space?

No it't okay I finally figured it out!
I went to 'devices and printers'
it listed all the devices plugged in and on 'ipod' and 'iphone' there was a yellow '!' I clicked it and it troubleshooted the issue and now everything is working yay!

Since I have the new iTunes (version 11.0.2), I can't sync my photos from the librarie to the iPhone 4S. Previous I haven't got any problems, but now I can't find the folder "photos" in the iPhone register (when I click on the connected iPhone).

Apple has not saidwhy they did it that way and it is against the terms of this forum to speculate on the reasons. It says not to:
"Discussions of Apple policies or procedures or speculation on Apple decisions."
The are third-party programs like TouchCopy that I think will allow you to do what you want. You can import photos via DropBox. The third-party programs will I know allow you to transfer the photos to your "new" computer.

Can't sync Aperture Photos with iPhone under iTunes 10

I've recently upgraded to iTunes 10 and when I go to the photos section under the iPhone sync options, I can select either sync all photos or sync selected projects under sync with iPhoto, but as soon as I select Aperture it greys out the selected projects option, and reports 0 photos in Aperture to sync at all. This also happened when iTunes9 was first released and magically fixed itself some months later. Does anyone know why my Aperture library no longer appears to iTunes10 and how can I get it to find it?

I am having the same problem, I cannot select Projects if A3 is selected in iTunes. If All faces, albums and projects is selected the sync crashes almost immediately after starting the image routine.
1) Deleted the iPod data directory and files - no joy
2) Repaired, rebuilt database - no joy
3) Flipped sharing preference bit on, and off between program executions - no joy
4) Searched database for filenames with symbols in the file name. Found a couple - exported them from my project and deleted the masters - no joy
Then I noticed my facebook folders were syncing files DOWN from facebook and giving them very long filenames. Well, not long in the unix community - but upwards of 50 characters in length. Im wondering if anyone else has noticed this and if this could be the culprit.
In any case - until this is run to ground I am unable to use my iPad for the primary purpose for which it was purchased - as a mobile display of my portfolio.
Going to sleep now - been up for 24 hours. I think I will try deleting my facebook folders completely (from facebook) and then will see what happens.

There are no photo folders in itunes.
You can sync photo folders via itunes. I sync several albums from iphoto with my ipod classic.
Go under the photo tab and look at the choices.

Can't Sync selected photos

When I connect my iPod to my Mac, and try to sync Photos, it only allows me to sync my whole iPhoto library, the buttons for selected folders are greyed out. I can't click on selected folders and drag to the iPod either. Help?

This is not the most common type of fix but I accidentally stumbled across it.
I connected the iPad directly to a usb port on the computer and then restarted the computer (without disconnecting the iPad). When I opened up iTunes, the device was recognized and the sync photos from iPhoto options were both available. I was able to sync selected albums and it worked. Hope it works for you.

Have the photos been taken with the iPad or have the photos been synced to the iPad Air? Photos synced with iTunes to iOS devices cannot be synced back. See this link: iOS: Syncing photos using iTunes
If the photos have been synced to the iPad Air, you need an external app as JimHDK recommended. Or mail the photos, which will be tedious. To delete them from the iPad after transferring them, sync again with iTunes, but select no folders to sync.
If the photos have been taken with the iPad Camera, you can connect the iPad Air to your Mac using a USB cable and then to launch Image Capture or iPhoto to transfer the photos. But that will not transfer synced photos.

Can't sync two photo albums

Hi,
I'm trying two sync to photo albums from my Windows 8 PC to my iPhone 6, I have two folders 'Jacob and 'Jacob2'.
I can sync either one perfectly fine but when I come to sync the 2nd folder it replaces the first one I synced.
In short, it's only letting me have one folder on my iPhone. What am I doing wrong?

Can't sync my photo from my iphoto library.

While syncing, an error message (-50) showed up.
After checking around, I found that i can't sync photos from iPhoto because it displayed no albums in my iPhoto library under the "Photos" tab but there actually are albums in my iPhoto.
It remained the same even after i restored my iPod.
Does anyone know the issue?

Success! The problem was due to escaped unicode characters within the AlbumData.xml file. I had first suspected it was the tilde-n combination within many of my photo comments. When I went to grep them out in BBEdit, I noticed an escape sequence for a unicode character in the search string. Unfortunately, replacing them in the AlbumData.xml didn't work. As soon as I would relaunch iPhoto it would put the characters back, which meant manually removing that comment sequence from a series of about 120 photos. Finding a script on Apple's site called 'Speak Comments.scpt' and commenting out the lines for speaking the comment (lines 15-18) and adding the following line before them:
set the comment of this_photo to ""
allowed me to remove the problematic comments from just the set of offending photos without having to do them by hand. As soon as this was done, iTunes recognized my iPhoto libraries and synced them to the 5G iPod without a hitch. The script is available from:
