HT201317 My camera not taking picture

My phone camera just stop taking picture on Saturday

Can you please update the latest webcam driver from the software and driver download page on www.hp.com and check if this resolves the issue? I would also suggest you to download the latest Cyberlink Youcam from the driver download page.

  • Camera screen fuzzy and not taking pictures

My  camera will not take pictures and will just show a fuzzy screen. Sometimes it flips to take a front photo and then locks up. Any ideas?

First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not help, set it up as new device, explained here:
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If still no luck, get it checked by visiting an Authorized Apple Service Provider or contact Apple Support to get it serviced:

  • Camera not working, pictures gone

My daughter gave me her itouch 5, her camera wasn't saving the pics she was taking to her itouch (and she has 12gb or so still available).  Then, the camera stopped working all together, will not take pictures, no buttons work at all.  Now, all the pictures are gone, just a white screen.  I can see most of them in the cloud with my itouch 4, but think some are missing.
On another note, not sure if it has anything to do with this, just got an iphone 5c about the same time she had issues.  I can't see all the pictures that are supposed to be shared, and also having issues with the phone not receiving texts, but that's another matter.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • Iphone (original model) not taking pictures

My Iphone isn't taking pictures anymore. When I snap a picture, it looks like it is storing it but when I go to look at the photo gallery, all the images are blank. When I plug in the phone to sync it, it doesn't trigger my computer's software to download the images.
    Thanks.

Yes, I am experiencing the same problem as are many iPhone camera addicts. There are quite a few threads on this issue here on the Apple Support board and although I have not heard anything I am sure Apple is aware of this issue.
Several people including my self have had their iPhone replaced at the Apple store because of this issue only to find it was a software issue and not hardware. Sit tight, I believe the next update will fix this and several other nagging problems that has cropped up recently.

  • How can I stop my camera from taking pictures every 15 seconds?

I am so frustrated!  I have a Droid X which has worked well for about a year.  Just today It has just gone crazy taking pictures.  One picture after another.  Every fifteen seconds or so, regardless of what I am trying to do---work on the internet, dial my phone, etc.  I can barely shut down.  I've taken out the card and the battery and have tried to change any camera and general settings that I can find.  Do you have any idea how I can get my Droid to stop?  Any suggestions at all would be appreciated.  THANKS.

You can't. What kind of USB device is that ?

  • Camera not taking hi-res pictures

I've noticed my camera won't take a high resolution picture. I've tried with HDR on and off. My pictures are less than 1 MB in size and I'm supposed to have an 8 MB camera. I can't find anywhere that I can change any settings. Any one know how to fix this issue?
    Thanks!

Yes, sorry, an 8 megapixel camera. But the picture size is definitely not normal. The pictures are very grainy and not at all what a 8 MP camera should be taking. I've got pictures from 2 different older iPhone cameras and both are a huge improvement over this phone.

  • Rebel T2i not taking pictures,

Camera fails to record picture, will not display preview (blank screen) and there is a red light lit on the reat of the camera. Might this be a card or camera problem?

What type of card are you using? Did you format the card prior to using it?  Are you shooting RAW or JPEG or RAW + JPEG? What are your exposure settings?
The red light on the back of the camera could mean that it is busy trying to create the image. If it takes a long time, that could indicate the card is not fast enough. Also are you shooting in continuous mode, taking numerous images fast? The buffer could be full, and it's trying to write to the card.

  • NEW MACBOOK...Camera not showing picture

Camera was showing my picture on purchase, but now not.
    Software problem?
I have updated my mac softwares...operating system is now Tiger 4.7...and have Apperture....
    Please help me.

I don't know what was missing from the first delta (software update of non-combo updater) for 10.4.7 : http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=2633936 , it's not a known issue w/ that update, but if turning off your machine or the normal resets (pram, PMU) don't work then trying the combo update or the new delta might do something. Kinda doubt it, but if all else fails it's worth a shot. Green lines in video are usually a sign of a bad connector or not enough power.
    Good Luck,

  • How do I change the settings on my ipad camera when taking pictures?

When I take pictures using my new iPad 4 Retina IOS 7  the pictures are HUGE!   I have found I can send a max of only  5 pics. in an e mail and use the medium setting offered IN THE MAIL SETTING.  But that is a lot of emails to have to send to yourself  when you have lots of  pictures.
So to just end this whole resize issue where is the SETTING to CHANGE the PHOTO SIZE WHEN or BEFORE you TAKE the pictures? I love the quality (would be nicer if it had flash or a telephoto lense but still nice pics).
I finally DID figure out how to transfer pics from my iPAD to my PC (Dell Laptop) NEVER COULD GET IT DONE  USING iTunes. So got the app.
transfer pro" for $2.99  for this and am VERY happy with it. Makes it so easy to do.  But again when they are huge at 13 inches X16 inches  or something crazy all I do is end up with having to resize EVERY SINGLE PHOTO I took on my iPad in Photoshop on my Dell PC Laptop.
Would appreciate the answer to HOW TO GET TO THE SETTINGS TO change on  my iPAD camera.  Thank you,
    Antoinette

Whow what a shame, I thought this iPad was going to be terrific.  Guess I'll get out my trusty Cannon from now on, lots less hassle.
    Thank you for the reply!

  • Camera not saving pictures

A few weeks ago my Z10 stopped saving pictures in the camera album. All the old pix are still there, but if I take a new picture it vanishes in about 5 sec. I have plenty of room on both my device and SD memory.
Is there any sort of maximum image limit in an album?
    Thanks,
    Dwells

The limit is the size of your memory, if you have a sd card, in camera settings enable 'Save on Media Card'.

  • Why does my iSight camera keep taking pictures of me?

I installed mackeeper, which has an anti-theft device that takes pix of the thief should I report the unit stolen. I tested it out and it appears to work, although I didn't see any pix.
Now, the green iSight light winks at me once a day at random times of the day. Where are these pix stored? How can I stop it?

    To protect your Mac:
    (1)  NEVER install Norton on any OS X Mac.
Norton may(?) be useful for PCs,
but it WILL cause problems in OSX.
    (2) Keep your Mac in your physical possession.
    (3) Do not give permission for others to use or connect to your Mac
on any network you may join.
    (4) Do not add any third-party (non-Apple) software
unless you KNOW that it is safe to use.
If you have doubts and do not have a trusted, knowledgeable source,
you can post here and ask for opinions.
    (5) If you do/can/will not comply with ALL of the above,
you may want to add software checks.
I have NEVER needed to add such software on ANY of my Macs,
and I have NEVER had a malware or virus problem.
However, for users who are determined to add some kind of
software check, the Mac protection software I have most often
seen recommended in Apple Discussions is ClamXav:

  • Rebel T3 not taking pictures, yellow light flashing, please help!

My Rebel T3 won't take pictures.  A yellow light flashes on front, but nothing else happens.  I've tried replacing the battery, changing the mode, but it still won't take any pictures.  It was working just fine yesterday.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I actually did try that.  And this is going to sound like I'm totally stupid, but I figured out my problem.
Somehow I must have bumped the timer setting.  I've never used the timer before, so I didn't realize it made the yellow light flash.  And I wasn't just sitting there waiting to see if it would take a picture.
So anyway.... problem solved.  I feel dumb, but putting the solution here just in case anyone else has the same problem! lol
