HT201318 Can I but my iCloud storage for my girlfriend with my iTunes login
My girlfriend and I have both have iPhones. I straight away upgraded my storage as I knew I need more space. But she thinks she wouldn't need it. Anyhow not that I would say I told u so to her but she does. And her way is deleting apps and photos etc. stuff she uses. So I thought id upgrade her but not tell her.
So the question is! Can I upgrade her account but with I'm iTunes details. Basically want to buy it but for her so. Not using her login to pay for it just mine. Is this possible or is this to far fetched?!
I'm hoping it's not otherwise ill just have to do it the old fashion way and put money into her account and then use hers.
Hope someone knows the answer for my sake and hers of course
Without her knowing - No. The subtlest way I can think of is to give her itunes gift card, make sure she puts on her icloud account - then buy the storage and then explain why she can't buy the cd's she wanted. Too much trouble looks like.
Really hard to surprise me at that point, BTW.

I'm not sure what they told your at the Apple store, but each Apple ID can only create a single iCloud account. If you want separate accounts for all these devices, they will have to be created using separate IDs. Note: you can do this and still share the same ID for other services such as your iTunes store account. The iCloud ID does not need to be the same as the ID used for other services.
To create an account, go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with a different Apple ID. If you want to migrate a copy of the current iCloud data to the different accounts, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the devices keeping the current account will not be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iDevice and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data. -

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Since you are posting here, I take it you already have an Apple ID.
You can setup that Apple ID to work with iCloud. See:

And you usually want to stick with one Apple ID as having multiples can cause confusion (especially with purchases).

My secondary account is used mostly for email. I deleted a ton of them but somehow am still voer the 5GB limit.
I'm willing to pay the $100 upgrade to get rid of the hassle, but is theere a way to upgrade icloud storage for your secondary account?You would probably have to temporarily make the secondary account the primary account to upgrade it. To do this, go to System Preferences>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...delete the secondary account, then go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out of your primary account and choose Delete at all of the prompts (your data will still be in iCloud), then sign back in with your secondary account ID and upgrade the storage.
After upgrading the secondary account storage, reverse the procedure to assign the primary and secondary accounts back the way they were. -

You will not want to do that and you should just have two 5GB free accounts.

I purchasedhe additional Icloud storage for my ipod touch. That removes all my music from the ipod and putsd it in Icloud. I find that when I am away from my wifi connection, like when walking or working out, I can't access my music. Is there a solution for this?
Download the music to your ipod when you are in a wi-fi area.
It will be stored on your ipod. -

Restoring an iCloud backup requires you to first erase your iPad. If you have any newer data that you want to save you'll need to do that first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens on the iPad and when given the option, choose Restore from iPad backup.

have you read the message in the panel? Something is wrong with your credit card. Perhaps you have to enter a new date of expiration.
In the small print it says, there is still a purchase, that needs paying,"Ugly Heart" with an amount of R 9.99. And "We were unable to authorise your credit card for this purchase". You will first have to update your Billing Information before you can proceed to make a new purchase for upgraded storage. Click "Account Details" in the iCloud panel.

If you cannot fix the account from the iCloud panel, open iTunes and sign into the "Store" menu, Then use the "Store > View account" item there to check for problems with your Billing Information. -
How can I find my iCloud storage breakdown?
I am over my storage limit and don't want to buy more storage. I used to have no problems before videos on photo stream skyrocketed my data. I've deleted all videos and delete my iCloud data. So now I have approx 500MB of photos and nothing else of size but my iCloud acct mgr says I need nearly 6GB of space. What besides video could need that much data?

How do I manage iCloud storage for videos?
Hello, my first question to Community..
I have recently purchased 25GB storage from iCloud, and in turn, i then attempted to download 2 movies (rental from iTunes). One of the movies downloaded fine and is available for playback, however the other will not download - a message displays telling me I do not have enough storage space. When viewing storage options I can see 15.5GB of 25 is available, however the iPad device storage says it has only 2GB available space.
Now I would expect a movie to be approx 1-2GB in size, but not sure if I can use the iCloud space for such a movie (rental) download or not. All advice welcomed! Thank youNo, you can not use the iCloud storage space for movie rentals. You have to free up space directly on your device to download the movie.

Hello - I've recently upgraded from an ipod mini (1G) to an ipod nano (2G). I'm running firmware 1.1.1, and itunes 7.02. Whenever I try to transfer a jpeg photo to my nano, I get an error message saying - "Some of your photos, including the photo xx.
