Did you actually watch the movie? You get 30 days in which to view it and if you didn't watch it, that could be why you are getting that message. If you have watched the movie and you're sure that is has expired by now, contact iTunes Store Support and seek their help.
Change the country in the upper left. - and click on Purchases, billing and redemption to proceed.

thank you...I was downloading a rental to add to only 5 others, and I have 1 movie. I got a download error that sent me to manage my storage. When I opened that up it was the screen to add more Icloud storage. Apparently we get 5 GB....and it offered 5 more.I did not see anywhere else to buy any other storage. I did remove a bunch of apps (I have a total of 36 so I didn't think that was an enormous amount, but I removed about 7 and then was able to download the rental. I was putting on a bunch as I am heading for Europe and wasn't sure if I could download there. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. This is new to me, so when the IPAD sends me to settings and to manage storage, I'm just didn't know where else to be looking.

I backed it up in October, but I still have not restored it since I don't know how.
Restore from iCloud Backup
1. Erase all contents and settings (Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings)
2. You'll be asked twice to confirm
3. You'll see Apple logo and progress bar
4. You'll see a big iPad logo on screen
5. Configuration start
6. Set language
7. Set country
8. Enable Location Service
9. Select network, enter password and join network
10. You'll be given 3 options (a) Setup as New iPad (b) Restore from iCloud Backup (c) Restore from iTune Backup
11. Selected Restore from iCloud Backup
12. You'll be required to enter Apple ID and Password
13. Agree to Terms and Conditions
14. Select Backup file
15. You'll see progress bar
16. Red slider will appear; slide to unlock; step #1 to #16 is fast
17. Pre-installed apps will be restored first
18. Message: Purchased apps and media will now be automatically downloaded
19. You'll see a pageful of apps with Waiting/Loading/Installing
20. When the restore process is complete, your device will restart. You should connect the device to iTunes to sync data not contained in the backup (such as music, videos, apps, and so on). -

Can I have 2 different countries billing address under one Apple ID? I mean 2 countries credit card info for payments at the same time under one Apple ID.
I do travel very often to overseas. I'm having problem with few apps that can not be updated when I'm using another countries store. I do have 2 countries billing address. So when there is an update I need to switch my county & billing address for few selected apps. I was wondering if I have option to add both countries as my billing address that would be great under same Apple ID. Is this option available?You can only have one credit card and billing address on your account at any one time.

MMy wife an I share one iTunes account but have separate Apple id for our devices - prior to 8.1 we shared storage on iCloud now we can't and when I try to buy more storage on her phone instead of accessing the shared iTunes account it try's to sign in to iTunes using her Apple id - I checked the iTunes id and password on both devices - can anyone help

Can I change my verified primary email address that is currently associated with my apple id? I don't want to change my apple id because I have music and apps assoicated with it. I tired following some of the posts that shows going to an apple dialog that allows you to update your apple id and primary email separately, but when I try doing it I get a dialog that says I can update my apple id and my primary email. I don't want to change my apple id only my primary email. Anyone have any suggestions? That email is going away soon. Thanks for any help.
Did you change the email for the Apple ID or did you create a new Apple ID? A new Apple ID cannot be used with content that was bought using a different Apple ID.

Can't change my country on my apple id
My apple id was set up in Ireland where I used to live. After moving back to Italy I tried to change the country from Ireland to Italy but I was told to spend 0,15euro left on my account first, but I cannot do so because I cannot buy any apps with that money and I'm not allowed to add my italian credit card to the account.
I wrote to apple support but no answer so far and I really need to buy few apps on my new macbook.
Who can help me???

I have over 300 photos and 87 videos. When I recharge the battery I am geting the message to buy more storage to because not enough icloud space. So I did yesterday. That went ok, but the new message tells me it will take 83 hours. Perplexed I went thru the settings and turned off apps and their data that I didn't realize where on. Now I'm not sure if I needed to purchase more storage but it is still taking forever to complete the task. Am I on the right track with this, meaning will take forever to store all my photos or what ? The only other item I have on to store is contacts. Can you assist me ? Thanks - emoslim

The first back up to iCloud may take some considerable time. Just how long isn't really possible to say without knowing how much is in your back up and your connection speed.
What many people don't realise is that upload speeds are often significantly less than download speeds, so for example a user may have a download speed of 40 Mbps, but only 1 Mbps for uploading. As a rough guide it will take around 2 ¼ hours to upload 1 GB of data at 1 Mbps. -
Why I can only download 20 photos for last month from the photostream while I have more than 3GB photos kept in iCloud? My iPhone was stolen and the photos in it are very precious to me. Many thanks.
On a new device you can only download what is currently stored in "My Photo Stream" in iCloud. iCloud keeps up to the last 1000 photos, but only the photos, that have been added during the last month. Older photos may be removed, when the time is up. On other devices you may be seeing older photos as well in "My Photo Stream", that will depend on the available storage on those devices, and when the Photo Stream has been enabled on those devices, see: My Photo Stream FAQ - Apple Support
If you are seeing other photos in the Photo Stream on other devices, that you want to save, mail them to you from the other devices.
Have you tried to restore your iPhone from the last iCloud backup of the old phone? The backup will contain the photos in the Camera Roll, but not the photos in Photo Stream. iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes -
I used my military (.mil) address as the backup for my appleID account, but now that I need to open the verification email from apple, the .mil doesnt allow me to open and verify that I am who I am?

3. Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't work, try these steps:
1. Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
2. Tap Settings > iCloud and try to sign out.
3. Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
4. Tap Settings > iCloud and sign in with the new Apple ID.

I can't change my country/region on iTunes and therefore can't change my payment information. I've moved from Canada to Australia and am now using an Australian credit card.
On my device I've gone into settings>iTunes &app store> Apple ID > view Apple ID > country/ region > change country/region. When I try tapping on this last icon, nothing happens. It doesn't give an option to change.

It sounds like you are trying to change your country in the iPhone settings but when you get to the last step, nothing happens. I would start by closing all the running apps on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and try changing the country again:

If the issue persists, try signing out of your account in settings, then restart one more time, sign back in and try to change the country again.
