HT201320 Account not verified
I have an iPad and iphone 5, I never had trouble with my iphone with regards go accessing my emails, however, I have recently began using my iPad and suddenly my iphone Won't let me send emails. When I try to sign in through safari it says I need a code and that someone else is using my email, this perhaps referring to me having it on my iPad as well. Please help.
chances are you just need to enter your password for the outgoing mail server again.
try just deleting the mail account and re-adding it.

When I initially try to sign in to iCloud, I get the "Account not verified" screen and I am told to check my email for instructions to verify. No email is ever sent. My ID and password work on all other Apple app's. Why not for iCloud?
I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. I checked, and at least one other user is having the same issue. I'll attempt to copy/paste the Support request url: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4430653?tstart=0
Thank you for any help you can give.

My IPad is stuck on Verifying. I'm on the Settings page and there is a box that says Account not Verified. At the bottom is something in red asking me if I want Delete Account? It's been stuck for an hour. I tried turning my IPad off, but when I go back on and into Settings it's still there. Does anyone know how to get out of this? Thank you.
To do a reboot, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

when trying to activate iCloud on iPhone and iPad I get "account not verified... check your email." Can't verify account on either device.
Can't verify device on website either.Welcome to the Apple Community.
Put in a request for another verification e-mail to be sent to you.
Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you. -
I am trying to set up icloud on my new device. However it keeps showing the message - account not verified, check your email. I have looked for email and there is nothing. How do I set this up?

Under the iCloud portion of settings on my iPhone, I have always gotten the message "account not verified". The email matches and is in fact the same for my accounts on iCloud and iTunes. Has anyone had this problem, and how have they resolved it?
Hello megalina23
You need to verify the email address associated with the Apple ID. Check out the article below on how to do this.

when I try to enable my icloud I get 'Account not verified - check email'. But no email is received
It could be that the site is trying to determine your location to enable downloading from nearest to your location. So sometimes the download confirmation box may take some time to appear.
You can also try this direct link: http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/9.0.1/win32/en-US/
'''Firefox Setup 9.0.1.exe''' is the file. This is the US English version. To look for other versions, click '''Parent Directory''' to traverse back. -

Hello, I upgraded my iPhone with latest OS and didn't setup my iCloud upon activation. Now when I go to my Settings and go to iCloud, I get a greyed out screen that says 'Account not Verified' 'Check your email for instructions', but none come??? Can someone tell me how to get it activated any other way?
Hi LindaMurray,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
You may find this method helpful for verifying your email address:
Associating and verifying email addresses with your Apple ID

How to verify the primary email address for your Apple ID
When you first create an Apple ID (using your email address) a verification email will be sent to that address. If you sign in to your Apple ID from the link in that email, the email address will be verified as the primary email address for your Apple ID. You can also resend the email verification if the email address is not verified:
1. Sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account information.
2. Click Resend under Primary Email Address.
3. Verify your changes by following the link in the email you will receive from Apple and signing back in to your account.
Cheers,

Account not verified message appears when I click iCloud
account not verified message appears when I touch the iCloud button on my iPad mini - the only clickable option is 'delete this account' and when clicked the apple sign in appears - kind of a do loop. Any ideas on how to activate the iCloud feature on my iPad mini?

When I log in with my Apple ID, it displays "Account not verified." I click the resend email button but nothing happens. The email is not being filtered out by Outlook. I just never get one. Any ideas? Thanks
Go to apple id and signin with wrong email. You will see edit button next to it so edit and verify.

Not receiving icloud verification email, have checked spam etc..phone is just saying account not verified, the address was linked to my husbands account but has been removed, prior to this it was saying it was already in use.
If i change to an old address it works fine but all my apple equipment uses a current googlemail address and dont want numerous ids
My itunes account/icloud account only shows this address, albeit on icloud its not verified
My husbands accounts dont have this address anywhere
Where is the verification mail going????All...sorted so thought i owed it to you all to update...
As suggested on numerous sites it was in my spam folder....but because i am using googlemail it was in the Googlemail Spam on my phone and online google account, the spam wasnt getting to my outlook account (where i was looking for it!!!)
As soon as i opened it there they were all 38 verification emails !!!!!
Hope this helps -
My iPad says "Account Not Verified" when I try to go into iCloud. How do I fix this?
You only have the option if you are already running iOS 5. If you are trying to update the iOS, you have to use iTunes on a computer to update the iPad.
There are some important things that you should know before you update and you can read bout those here.
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4972
More instructions here - for all iOS versions. Make sure you read the part about using iTunes.
