HT201320 Having trouble setting up Comcast email on my new iPad
I have tried several times to set up my email with Comcast on my new iPad with no luck. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you get it to work.

You do have the incoming mail server setting under Host Name as mail.comcast.net .... And your user name and password are correct?
Rather than try to adjust any settings and get deeper into a hole - why don't you delete the account and just start over again. Many times that's the best thing to do.
I would delete the account, restart the iPad and then add the account again.

I am having the same issue but only with AOL. I deleted the account and am trying to set it up again without any luck. I've been trying to get it to work all day. I called AOL and Apple. No suggestions beyond what I already tried.

I have entered all the right info to set up receiving email from my gmail account. Keeps telling me the name or PW is incorrect. HELP!

I just upgraded my BC account and forwarded my domain from the registrar (in my case: Network Solutions). So, now I'm in the process of setting up my email account in BC so that everything works and I'm getting this message:

Account details for this user can only be updated via the site where it was first created.
I don't understand this. Don't I need to set up my email with the hosting company (which is now BC)?

I am trying to set up my email account, but am failing. I have a "pop account" for my incoming mail server. Does it make any difference that I am putting my "pop account" information into the "IMAP" account fields? Thanks.

Since you didn't tell us exactly what you are doing, we cannot tell where in the process that message comes up. For instance, I cannot tell if you selected Enterprise or Personal email when you made the attempt...indeed, I cannot tell if your BB even presented you the option for Personal email.
Please advise with more details.

I am having difficulty setting up my email account on my iPad mini

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

If you are still not able to send mail from your POP account, I would recommend these steps from the following article to help you out there, named:
Get help with Mail on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Make sure your settings are correct using Mail Settings Lookup.
Restart your iOS device.
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap the affected email account.
Tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.
The Mail Settings lookup may contain outdated information for your provider, or if it doesn't you will need to reach out to the email provider to get the appropriate settings for it with this from the same article:
Check with your email provider for specific settings.

Hello,
I bought a Passport yesterday and am having one major issue. I have 3 email accounts through Yahoo and 2 of them addeded with no problem at all. However, one (my main one, of course) transferred briefly, then disappeared and now when I try to add it I get the message "Accounts. At this time your email and contacts accounts can't be added. Please try again later."
I've tried...and tried...and TRIED. Nothing changes. Any suggestions?

Don't assume your experience is the rule.
I have been using Yahoo two-factor authentication on Z10 and on Passport with no issue. Now Z10 being used by wife with her Yahoo email and with two-factor authentication, and again no trouble.
To add, I would not advise going backward to a less secure method. Simple username and password authentication is not advisable nowadays
