HT201320 Help after upgrading on my iPhone to 7.1 my email said that was the wrong password I went in and change passwords and now it works I get my mail on all my eye pad and iPad mini but can't get it up on my iPhone
I cannot get my iPhones email up it keeps saying that my username or password is incorrect but I know it's correct it goes into my iPad and my iPad mini what is wrong with my iPhone
It also says verify your account settings then mail contacts and calendars and that's exactly where I a.m.

If you can't obtain a retail install DVD from Apple, look on eBay or Google the installer part numbers to possibly find at an on-line store. Here's what to look for:

Caution - Leopard does not support classic mode. So, if you currently open OS 9 apps in classic mode, you won't be able to do this if you upgrade to Leopard.

Me and my daughter have same Apple ID for my iPhone iPad and her iPod and iPad mini. Is there any way to get an iCloud account for her devices without changing her Apple ID. She has an old iCloud account from older iPod but can't activate it or remember her old iCloud account.
ThanksYou have to use a different Apple ID to create a new iCloud account (each ID can only be used with a single account). You don't have to use the ID for anything else though, she can continue to use her current ID for other services such as iTunes, iMessage, FaceTime, etc.
The only limitation is that each device can only create three iCloud accounts. -

There is an iOS app that lets you bluetooth transfer files between iOS devices without Wifi. It's called File Manager (Tap Media, LTD)
I was looking for an iOS app to bluetooth transfer Pages files and PDFs from a non-cellular iPad 3 to an iPhone 5. Basically, I want to write a document on my iPad, transfer it via bluetooth to my
iPhone, and email it to my editor--all without using Wifi.
Seems simple, but it's actually hard to find an iOS app that does it
-Bump is cool, but it wouldn't work because it requires a Wifi or cellular connection for both devices.
-File Manager (from TapMedia, Ltd.) will do the trick. You need to download File Manager on both devices, and the transfer isn't as simple as Bump, but it did work for me.
Here's the File Manager transfer process
On your iPad
-Open document in Pages
-Share document to File Manager
-Share document via Bluetooth
On your iPhone
-Open File Manager
-Go to Transfers screen, press "Receive" to download file
-Open file in File Manager
-Share file to Pages
-Share file in Pages via email, convert to Word
-Email file to recipient -
It will not let my iPad Mini plug in I think it has somthing to do with us have 2 Apple ID's running on the same computer. Anyone have any advice or know what the real problem is?
Your question is almost too much a personal one, begging the question "do we (husband and wife) feel comfy sharing one account on the Mac" maybe thats why nobody answered you.
It doesnt complicate anything, but it adds steps for switching accounts on the Mac/ purchases etc. of course
since your question is mostly personal, ..I wont answer THAT part of it, but creating a new account is easy.....messing with switching back and forth is also a personal preference 'issue' as well. I prefer to keep things simple, but...........you and yours, I dont know.......

I did a factory reset on my ipd mini because it was doanloaing games , music, and other stuff from my family icloud account. but now its not letting me reactivate my ipad. i keep getting messages saying, " your username isnt allowed to activate this devise" or " your username or password is incorect" i made a new account about a month ago and logged on to the app store with it. i didnt however do the forget this devise on the old account which activated the ipad. i called apple and found out that my account had been delete or something where they couldnt find it. i was reading a post were someone remade an account that had been deleted and was able to remove the devise from the account. i logged on to icloud to remove the ipad but it says i have no devises registered.
Hi. Don't worry it's nothing serious. Insert the Instal Disc (Snow Leopard) and press the C button while turning on the computer. Once you see the desktop, go to Utility and choose Disk Utility. Select the Macintosh Partition on the left window pane and then click on Repair Disk and Repair Disk Permissions on the bottom right corner. Wait for both processes to finish. Click on the Apple icon (top left corner) and choose quit. Your computer should restart. See if it reboots normally. If not you can always reinstall the OS following the same steps. Good luck!

I have deleted my old email account that is connected with my apple id. I created a new apple id with a new email but my old email is still on my ipad that requires the password that i had with that account. It says incorrect password but I know it is right. Tap on your Apple ID
Sign Out
Sing back in with the correct ID
NOTE: All apps purchased under the old ID will forever be tied to that ID, so you'll need to remember it if you want to update those apps. Or, you can delete those apps and redownload them under the new ID. -
I am desperately looking for a bluetooth headphone that would be compatible to my Macbook air and Ipad mini both. I am more of looking for a headphone that does not need a transmitter device to be connected to the source (in this case Macbook Air and Ipad Mini) and headphone acting as a receiver, rather need a headphone that would be connected directly via bluetooth to the source, it would be great if multiple apple devices be connected simultaneously. Sony I assume recently launched a Bluetooth headphone DR-BTN200 which is compatible to my MacBook Air , iPad mini and android phone galaxy s2 with ease, the sound quality is pretty good as compared to other brands of Bluetooth headphones I checked compatible or incompatible to apple devices alike, this is definitely what I was looking for, costed me 7990 INR, this is highly recommended for ppl who are confused, I carried my devices to the store and checked before I bought a pair and pretty much happy,
The best part of this is its battery backup, I have used this hours for 3-5 days but this has not drain even then, but I do keep this charging once in 2-3 days just to keep this ready otherwise it does not even ask for it neither the quality of sound drops after 2-3 days of use.
This is over the ear headphone which is very soft but it's get sweaty around the ear I guess that's bound to happen.

FYI my iPad mini is 32gbOnly you can answer that....but generally, do you need net access or just music? If just music, go for the nano, if calendar and internet access, go for the touch.
However if you have a mini and are taking it to school, then just the nano will be fine.

My photo stream used to work fine. But after removing all the photos to separate folders in my computer, my new photos are no longer streaming to my PC. They appear in the photo stream on my other devices - iPhone5 and iPad Mini. It's just my PC that's missing the photos.
When I open the iCloud control panel, I cannot turn on the photos. That option is ghosted. I'm running on Windows 7 with iCloud 3.0. Any ideas on how I can fix this? All help is appreciated! Thanks!Hi Kevinmvb,

Okay , you should only delete EMPTY DUPLICATED folders, not preview folders or any others. I would put them all back. Then just delete any DUPLICATED EMPTY folders, do not disturb any other folders. On iOS switch off DOCUMENTS AND DATA under ICLOUD in SETTINGS. Do this on all iOS devices not just the one. Once deleted DUPLICATE FOLDERS on the mac in MOBILE FOLDERS then exit the LIBRARY. Open PAGES on your MAC and view folders on icloud. Check everything is all there as expected. If okay then DELETE and re-install PAGES app on iOS - THEN switch on DATA and DOCUMENTS in ICLOUD. Now open PAGES. If you have Time Machine on you can recover any 'lost' doc files and restore them from your mac from pages application. Try the process again and do not disturb any folders other than ones I mentioned as this is the system files LIBRARY. It is not a place to be over zealous in moving, altering and deleting folders and files. Take care please.

It's very possible that you did just as you suspect. One of the later Note file over wrote the one stored on your iPad when you synced.
When one does a sync of their iPad a backup of the iPad is created first. If that backup was still available you might be able to find the Note file there. But more than likely, if you are letting the iPad and iPhones sync on their own over Wi-Fi you have over written that back up as well. -

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
