How do I get to toggle between active screens?

double tap the home button. You'll see all the active screens line up, scroll sideways to the one you want. Tap on it to go to it.
Just be careful, because this is also part of the force close app, so if you flick those previews up and off the screen, you close the app, not go to it.

How do you get multiple screens on the iPad with iOS 5.1.1? We just upgraded to iOS 5.1.1, and we see no way to be able to open multiple screens at once. Before, there was a small button in the upper portion of any window. That button would take you from a particular window to the place where multiple windows are open at once. Does it do it differently? Is there a special setting button that we have missed? Thanks!
One more thing: We are only talking about Safari.

I don't think I've seen a way to have separate Safari screens visible at the same time. The small thumbnails were deleted in one of the iOS updates, and replaced with a multiple "Tab" system.
You can open an additional screen in a new "tab" by pressing and holding on a link until a new menu comes up.

I am using Teststand 3 and I want to display additional information like the limits and the results in the sequence UI control. Adding new columns to this control is no problem, so it works good with any step type, that has a single result. But how can I display the information of a step that has multiple results ? The rows of the sequence UI control are limited to a single line.

Dirk,
If you want to display several results for a single step, then you will need to either create a new column for each result or have an expression in your column that will format in a single string all the result that you want to display.
What you can not do is spawn the result of a single step across several rows (only one step per row).

I have two seasons of the same TV Show which displayed fine, including artwork. But when I purchased the latest season of Stargate Atlantis (Season 4) it displayed the new episodes in the same grouping as Season 3. Additionally, it replaced the Season 3 artwork with Season 4. How do I replace the Season 3 episodes with the correct artwork? How do I display the Seasons separately, but sequentially, the same way Music albums are grouped and displayed?

The general process is to select the photo and print, select the printer, paper size and print size and click customize and under settings selec multiples copies of a photo (the preview will reflect this choice) and click print to print, make any printer specific selections and click print to print

I'm trying to create a movie for someone where they provided me the video clips and what time sequences they want extracted. For example: Video footage from time 5m22s to 9m:18s and 11m17s to 15m31s from the imported video clip. I know you can select video but I cannot figure out how to select from those requested time markers.

How do I display multiple recipients in the Sent Mail list view???

In the list of sent mails, only one name (the first recipient) shows up in the "to" column. I would like to show as many names as there is room for, and not have to open the message itself to see multiple intended recipients.
Other email clients do this as the default, but in Mail I just can't find the setting for how many names to display in that column.

How do I make multiple screens transition?

I have figured out how to make multiple camera angles play onscreen at one time, but I would like the layout to change while the video plays, how do I do this (or at least get started)? I realize that this is probably basic, but I am making the move from basic editing in iMovie and it is proving painful.

OK, so I am making a demo video for my live music show.
I have three angles, one front, one of the guitar, and one of my feet.I have all three playing onscreen simultaneously in three screen panels on the main video screen.
If I export it right now you see all three angles playing at once
The layout is such that one angle is larger than the other two.
I would like, at certain points in the video, to have the emphasis change, and have the video transition to one of the other panels getting larger, and the big one getting smaller.

Do you just wish to display the result of the query? If so, you can simply parse it out in HTML.
You can then choose if you want to use tables or css.
Multiple column layout in tables are based on <tr> and <td>.
<tr> is a table row, where <td> is a column.
All tags should be closed.
Example:

How do I display multiple pdf documents in the same window?

I am sure that this question has been asked many times before, but I have searched the forums and the online help documentation for nearly 45 minutes without a satisfactory answer.
I have just installed the trial version of acrobat pro and I want to open multiple documents in the same window but I can't seem to find out how to do it.
Can someone tell me how?

This is the worst thing to happen to acrobat, in my opinion.
The clutter that it creates on my computer and the fact that i cant even see the document title when I have a bunch of them open (because the task bar is too full) is unacceptable.
I never would have changed from Acrobat 8 if I had known, and now I cant switch back (company license).
The latest thing i can find about addressing it is here:

why hasnt any thing else been done about it? I just spent 45 minutes being sent to different departments over the phone, only to be told to submit a feature request.

When you close it, the image should automatically appear on the TV only.

I have a 2010 MacBook Pro which I use for all of my video & music editing. I currently have the following accessories: MiniDisplay Port to DVI & MiniDisplay Port to VGA adapters. I also have VGA to DVI-D adapters that all work concurrently if I need them to.
I have been using two screens to edit on recently but now I want to upgrade and use a 3rd screen, which technology sod I need to make this happen?

How can i display multiple Pictures in a java.awt.Container best?

I just started with a new Project, it works just like a FileManager.
On entering a directory all the files in it shall be displayed in a scrollable area. Displayed means here a Graphical representation of the file, in case of a picture a small preview version of it.
I put together a javax.swing.JScrollPane with a java.awt.Container and viewport. The Container has a FlowLayout.
Now for every image in a Directory I create a Component-class in witch I overwrote the public void paint(Graphics g) to display a scaled version of the image, this scaled version is created in the Constructor of my Component-class.
this works fine for just a few images, but if i try to open a directory with a lot of pictures it takes a long time at the beginning and sometimes it just kills the application.
so i changed in a way that only when a Component is in view of the visible rectangle of the scroll pane the scaled image will be created, and when the component gets out of view the image is set to null.
now it is running without killing the application, but it takes way too long to scroll now, because the images are loaded all the time.
so i figured i must be doing something wrong, so what is the best way to get small previews for up to a few hundred files and then display them in a scrollable area? (like in Windows Explorer if you activate the miniature preview)
if anyone can give me some hints, that would be great

You don't need the object to have the same id to achieve your desired results, and you can't have the same object with the same id anyway.
Just ensure whatever the user does is carried out on the larger and smaller image.
