i've got an old iphone4 from some years back and need to update the apps. the phone is registered to an old apple id and it asks me for the password which i cant remember. it sends me a password reset but to an old email address that i no longer have. so i am completely stuck and don't know what to do. please help?

If you are seeing an Apple ID that is not yours, then you have purchased content on your iPad that is tied to that Apple ID. You would need to know that password or remove the content that is associated with that Apple ID.

Did you have previous versions of the software on your system? No
Is the trouble with the download or the installation of the software? I am not sure but i think it may be the download. It shows that the download was complete and icon appears on the desktop. I plan to buy the ''Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium'' but i wanted to try it first via the free trials, especially Photoshop and Illustrator. So please let me know what i need to do.

Regardsthanks for the suggestions weather15 - the firefox help site you directed me to explains what ought to happen but i cant make it work. I shut my firefox browser on my new machine and attach the hard drive from my old machine. I can explore the contents of that drive but when i search it for the suggested folder " %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\" nothing is found. when i try and open firefox from the old drive, the browser opens that is the new version that i have on my new computer with no saved bookmarks! Am I doing everything right?

When I am looking at a website and it says contact us with an email address, in the past when I click on this my entourage 'new mail' page would open so I could contact them, but know that doesn't happen and I have to cut and paste the email address into entourage manually, sometime this is not possible becuase the website doesn't actually give the email address just a 'click here' option

When I try to complete a registration form to join a website/ open an account using wifi on my ipad 4 I enter the details using Autofill.
Hence my email address is entered automatically and is 100% correct.
However I keep getting the same error message: your email address is incorrect.
My account is with BTYahoo and I am able to send and receive emails without any problems.
I' ve recently visited an Apple store and discussed this problem with a genius but they said they haven't encountered this problem before so we deleted my old account and added a new one with the same information but today I tried to join another website and again the email address isn't accepted.
Any help gratefully received.Thanks for that suggestion!!
So far it's worked but can't understand why Autofill adds the exact same details but the website fails to accept the email address.

Which OS? iTunes comes preinstalled on all Macs. -
adobe keeps crashing, you can be on a web page reading and the browser opens the page in a new browser. I did not have this problem the older versions. What can I do to fix this problem.

My wife has an iPhone with an Apple address and password. I now have an iPad and am unable to obtain an Apple ID. I have tried using her's and am unable to create a Free Apple ID as our email address (Apple ID) is being used by her. Any thoughts - Thanks Colin.
PS Hope ths explains itWhy can't you use her ID? My wife, my daughter and I all use my Apple ID.
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID and try to sign in there with her ID. Make sure that you are entering all of the information (password) correctly.
If you really want to create a new Apple ID - use your own email address, but I would recommend using only one ID anyway. -
When I turn on firefox the sound of an alarm begins and keeps going. I did not download or add or open anything. A sound like the old pacman game initiates the never ending alarm. It does not occur with safari and ends if I close firefox.
