HT201322 It doesn't provide me with the option to hide when I swipe left and right nothing changes or happens
When I try to hide something from my App Store purchased list i found out form this to swipe left or right and it should provide me with the option to hide the item but it doesn't and it's annoying me seriously. I deleted the application for a **** good reason someone please help me or tell me what to do
It doesn't appear to work on iOS 6 (and neither does unhiding, though you can still view and download them) - whether that is permanent or only temporary I don't know. You should still be able to hide things via your computer's iTunes.

Hey there,
I accidently deleted something in the navigation bar in safari.
Now when i swipe left and right with my magic mouse, it doesn't go to the previous pages anymore. But the wierd thing is it still works with my magic trackpad.
And even wierder the swipe left and right of my magic mouse still works in other programs.
So can anyone help me with this?

Before I updated the latest version of Firefox, every time the browser shuts down in error, I would get the System Restore feature which was really nice. Now, this no longer happens and when I went to configure this ability, it does not even provide me with the option to select to show windows and tabs from the last session. How can I get the restore session feature working again?

You might look at "Keyboard Shortcuts" in the Keyboard and Mouse preference pane and see if somehow the lower case n has been inadvertently assigned to something.
Probably the best solution would be to click the "Restore Defaults" button. -
How to adjust the green (starting) and the red (end) rectangles pixel by pixel (top, bottom, left and right) by changing the number of pixels in ken burns. Help please.
If you look closely at the top of the canvas pane, as you move either of the boxes (green or red) there is an indication of pixel positions... "top, bottom, left, right," and "scale."
Admittedly, it doesn't seem as if you can "enter" the dimensions with your keyboard, however, as you move the boxes, you have a real time indication of the boxs' locations.
(I couldn't take a screen shot, as you have to actively move the box with a mouse or other input device... thus, I could not also take a screen shot with same device.)

I see how to delete songs from iPad, but there are some songs that don't give me the option to delete when I swipe them. Why can't I get rid of these songs?
Do they have a cloud icon next to them? If they do, they aren't on the iPad so you can't delete them. They are in iCloud ready for you to download them if you want to and they are visible in the music app for this purpose.
If you don't want to see these songs that are in iCloud, go to Settings> iTunes & App Store>Show all>Music>Off. -
The three finger swipe left and right does not seem to work

I have been trying to do the left and right three finger swipe that allows you to move between applications to no avail. It just keeps switching between dashboard and one app even if I have 5 apps open at the same time. Snow Leopard has this feature where all the apps opened are shown when you do the swipe and you can choose the one you want. I think this is better but it doesn't work.
Any help will be appreciated.
AntonioSuch spaces actually use very little extra memory relative to the apps you have open to occupy those spaces. I would go out on a limb and say it doesn't matter whether you have one space for every application or all on the same desktop.
The limitation will come from the applications and the data you are crunching on them.
(But that's just a personal view, haven't run into any limits on my ow 4GB Macbook Pro so far) -
I get noise when I combine left and right from the headphone output.
I need to combine the left and right channels of a Macbook Pro at the output connector. When I build the cable to do this, there is significant static noise introduced. If I break the short between left and right, the noise goes away.
(I'm doing this to put both channels of audio into a single side of a set of headphones, and I really don't want to buy a mixer.)Eddie,
I just ran a test on my G5 Logic system (Logic 9.02) with an internal RME PCI 8in/8out Audio Card and I get perfect separation bouncing to a stereo audio file using standard panning. Click on one side and a couple of crunchy guitars on the other. Each side is completely separate.
So, it seems to point to your hardware unless you have some other audio routing that we've missed.
I'm re-doing my setup so I may try a couple of other tests as I go along.

I'm creating a Click track for live performance. I Have 3 audio tracks panned full left (-64) and a Click track panned full right (63) but when I play the track they bleed into each other. If anyone knows a way around this that'd be great

My ipad is locked in a loop. in the subscriptions area validate I entered the correct password but ipad is still in a loop the circle never stopping even after switch off of every kind and over a day.. ipadi s now uselss. How can I recover?? Joan.

When downloading a large file, like a movie, Internet Explorer automatically opens a download window offering the choice to "Open" or "Save"the file. This provides one with the choice of where to save it - e.g. "C" drive, in the "My Documents" or "Desktop" folders but Firefox's download window doesn't. This has always frustrated me because I would rather use Firefox exclusively to access the Internet, but when it comes to saving files downloaded off the Internet, sadly, I have to revert to IE!
If you click on Firefox from the upper-left, then Options, a new window should appear. On that window, click on the general tab. In the middle of the window, you'll see options regarding your downloads, one of which says, "Always ask me where to save files." Click on the bubble for this options, then click Ok. From then on, you should always be prompted on where you want your files saved.

How do I connect my 2nd generation Ipod to a Firewire 800 port on a new laptop? It no longer holds a charge and it doesn't power up with the newer generation USB cable. The only way I can sync my Itunes library onto this Ipod is when it is powered and connected simultaneously. Pls help.
