hey, my ipad doesnt have a sim card port so im guessing its the model that uses only wifi. but, it doesnt app store or itunes, and i cant sync any app into it from my itunes on my pc, i really dont know what to do. i dont know how to get the apps, it has a camera both front and back, but it didnt come with a camera app........HHHHHEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

Your best bet is to restore the iPad and get the original operating system software back on the iPad. The iPad should have all of those applications included in factory setup:

Any and all help appreciated.In addition to Mike's suggestions, you only have 4GB of RAM and Mavericks does use more RAM than other versions. You may also want to look at the apps that startup on login and the possiblity of upgrading RAM.

They are free to iOS 7 users who have activated their NEW device on Sept 1 2013 or after. They are NOT automatically free with iOS 7.
AirDrop is only compatible with iPad 4th gen and iPad mini. iPad 3rd gen and below do contain the necessary hardware for AirDrop. Also, AirDrop is only compatible between iOS devices. You cannot AirDrop between iOS device and Mac OS. -

My question is what if I have troubleshooted with holding the sleep/awake button and power and it's not changing to any other screen what should I do? It doesn't even show the battery strength wheither its completely dead or charging at all.
- If you did not charge the iPod for a couple of hours before you did the reset then charege and reset:
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Then connect to your computer and if iTunes sees the iPod restore via iTunes.
- Next see if recovery mode will allow iTunes to see the iPod so you can restore the iPod. For recovery mode:

- Last, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. -
I download radio programmes via Podcast, but have recently found that some episodes play for only 30 seconds and then the whole app quits. This happens even though the whole episode has downloaded. I would be grateful for advice.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Delete the problem episodes and redownload.
- Reset all settings

I bought Pages ages ago using an iTunes account that no longer works as the email address has been closed down. How can I now update my Pages app, if it asks me to sign in using this now defunct email address?
All apps are always tied to the account from whaich they were purchased and will always have to be updated using that account.
Just because the e-mail account is shut down, has nothing to do with the itunes account. Why did you create a new account? Why not just change the e-mail associated with the old account? -
I have an icloud account but my daughter also has an icloud account. We have them registered under different emails. When I try to sign her out of icloud on the computer it wants to delete calendar and contacts. how do i sign into my account with out messing up hers?
You need to setup your own user account on the computer to keep independent iCloud accounts, contacts & calendars. Then sign in to your iCloud account in your user account.

After calling Cursor.delete, call Cursor.getNextDup to move to the next duplicate, then call Cursor.delete again, and repeat.

The only YouTube videos I can find that show show iPads with TouchID are clearly labelled as "concept videos", they are *not* videos of actual new iPads. Most seem to date from the period between the release of the iPhone 5S and the release of the iPad Air and Mini with Retina display.
As you will see from the specs and features listed on the Apple website, and every one of the zillion or so reviews of them that have appeared in the last few days, neither of the new iPads have TouchID. So if My Apple are telling you it's coming to them in the near future then it's big news, very big news indeed, because this is the first anyone has heard of it. Either that or the people at My Apple are confused. -
I have 3 iPods: 1 Touch and 2 Classics. The Touch and 1 of the Classics are both working fine; the other Classic is not showing up in iTunes, My Computer, or in Device Manager. While I CAN do a simple reset, it accomplishes nothing, and I am UNABLE to get the faulty Classic into "disk mode".
Based on what I've encountered thus far, I have a suspicion that my faulty Classic somehow thinks it's formatted for the Mac, as I DO see the serial # and I do NOT see "Windows Format" in the About screen on the ipod itself. Is that even POSSIBLE? I have never used a Mac, but that's what the documentation I've read on this Support Site have lead me to believe.
The faulty Classic will charge ONLY in a wall charger; it clearly wants nothing to do with my laptop as it refuses to stand up and be recognized in iTunes or in My Computer....why??!!?? I DID try all of the other obvious troubleshooting items; I tried different USB ports, different cords, different laptops, and even different ipods.....BUT....all is well with everything else BUT for this pain-in-the-@$$ ipod.
IDEALLY.....since my ipod refuses to make itself available for me to "restore factory settings" via iTunes, the way it SHOULD be handled....., I'm wondering if there are any hackers out here that know of a way to FORCE a MANUAL restoration of factory settings of the ipod, via super-secret "key strokes" on the ipod itself (and not via the iTunes software that is curently useless for this particular ipod)....?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help! Without your assistance, my Classic ipod remains an expensive door stop and/or paper weight. It's behavior at this point is nothing shy of rude and inconvenient!There is no way to restore/reformat the device without connecting it to a PC or Mac.
Have you checked the iPod's dock connector for signs of bent/damaged/corroded pins that could prevent a full connection with your PC? If there is any lodged debris, take a can of compressed air to it to blow it all out.

Hi guys, I really need help trying to figure out why Final Cut Pro will not allow me to export my project. I have done this in the past and had no problems at all with other projects, and I have done nothing different from what i can tell. Any help???

Thankyou for your help. No, I have done this and it does not work. I have tried clicking and dragging, selecting the file in the project library, selecting individual files etc etc etc. The only thing that may have helped me out was last night...I clicked on a tab in FCP on the far right side (that must have something to do with exporting as well) and a small screen popped up after clicking it stating i cannot export the file while it is still referencing media off of the camera. I dont understand this either? I do have to have my camera connected before FCP will RECOGNIZE the media clips, but they have all been imported to my external hard drive and once i click import from camera, it is complete within seconds, so the hundreds of video clips i am using are obviously saved on there somewhere already....im at a loss here as to what to do. Do i have to literally download ALL MEDIA in each project to my computers hard drive before final cut pro will allow me to export any of the projects i create?? This seems like such backward thinking...I dont have nearly enough room on my computers intenal memory to do this with all my video clips!!! -
Apply paragraph style to a glyph and not have the glyph itself display?
I have a big text document which I need to mark up with different paragraph styles. Fortunately the data contains different glyphs for the specific text strings, and so I could have the paragraph styles kick in when it meets the glyph. But in the end I need to remove the glyphs when I go to print, and so the styling will be removed too.
I wonder if it is possible to change the glyph to some kind og hidden state. I could mess with the x-position of the text string but I'm not to keen on that solution. Anyone has an idea?Jakob,

Hi, I have an iPad mini and I opened up an app but it has frozen.
